SECURELYassemble the REARBASETUBEto the BASEas shown on drawing, using two (2) 3/8
3 IN. BOLTS,four (4) 3/8 IN. WASt-[ERS,and two (2) 3/8 x 3 IN. LOCKNUTS.
Insert two (2) 2 LN. SQ. COVERCAPSonto both ends of the FRONTBASETUBE,and one Ill) 2
SQ. ENDCAPimo the BASE,a.~ shownon drawing.
SECURELYassemble the FRONTBASETUBEto the BASEas shown on drawing, using two (2) 3/8
X 3 IN. BOLTS,four (4) 3/8 IN. WASHERS,and two (2) 3/8 x 3 IN. LOCI(
Attach eight (8) PAKAGLIDEGRIPSto both ends of the CARRIAGEas shown in (DETAIL~B) using
the follo~fng steps:
Thoroughlyclean all surfaces wherethe PARAGLIDESTRIPSare to be attached.
¯Removethe PAP,_AGL]]3ESTP~Sfrom the paper backing and fu-mly apply them to all shown
surfaces.
6. Insert one (1) 1-3/4 IN. SQ. ENDCAPinto the CARRIAGEUPRIGHTas shown on drawing.
Slide the C.M~RL~GEonto the C.MhRIAGEUPRIGHTand SECURELYattach the CARRIAGE
UPRIGHTto the BASE,using two (2) 3/8 x 3 IN. BOLTS,one, (1) 3/8 x 2-3/4 IN. BOLT,six (6)
IN. WASHERS.and three (3) 3/8 IN. LOCKNUTS.

SECURELYassemble the BEARINGHOUSINGto the BASEusing two (2) 3/8 X 3 IN BOLTS,four
(4) 3/8 IN WASHERS,and two (2) 3/8 IN. LOCKNUTS.
Insert two (2) 2 IN. SQ. ENDCAPSinto both ends of the PULLEYMOUNTas shown on &rowing.
SECURELYassemble the the PULLEYMOUNTto the BASEas shown on drawing, using two (2) 318
X 3 IN. BOLTS,four (4) 3/8 IN. WASHERS,and two (2) 3/8 IN. LOCKNUTS.(MAKESURE
PULLEY MOUNTIS ATTAClqT~D AS IT IS SHOWNIN THE DRAWING)
SECURELYassemble two (2) SPRINGPIN ASSEMBLIESto the ARMSas shown in CI)E~AIL A).
Insert four (4) 3/4 IN. FLANGEBEARINGSinto the BUSHINGSof the ARMS.
Insert the shaft of each SWIVELARMthrough the 3/4 IN. FLANGEBEARINGSon the ARMSas
shown on drawing, and SECUREin place with two (2) 3/4 IN. STAR_LOCKCOLLARS.
Insert two (2) 2 IN. SQ.ENDCAPSinto the ends of the ARMS,as shownon drawing.
Insert four (4) 3/4 IN. FLANGEBEARINGSinto the BUSHINGSof the BEARINGHOUSI~G.
Assemble the ARMSto the BEARINGHOUSING,using the following steps:
Carefully tip the BASEon its side.
Slide one (1) 3/4 IN. THRUSTWASHERand one (1) ROTARYPLATEonto the shaft of each
Attach each ARMto the BEARINGHOUSINGand SECUREin place with two (2) 3/4 ~q. STAR
LOCK COLLARS.
SECURELYattach the LEFTand RIGHTtIANDLESto the BASEusing two (2) 3/8 x 3-1/~: IN.
BOLTS,four (4) 3/8 IN. WASHERS,and two (2) 3/8 IN. LOCKNUTS.
Slide two (2) 1 X 5 IN. GRI~Sover the LEFTand RIGHTHANDLES.(IF A LUBRICAN~I
REQUIRED, COAT ~ INSIDE OF THE GRI~ WITH RUBBING ALCOHOL)
SECUREthe SEATPADto the LEFTand RIGHTHANDLESusing two (2) 3/8 X 1-1/4IN. BOLTS,
two (2) 3/8 IN, LOCKWASHERS,and two (2) 3/8 IN. WASHERS.
SECUREthe BACKPADto the CARRIAGEUPRIGHTusing two (2) 3/8 X 2-3/4 IN. BOLTS,two
(2) 3/8 IN. LOCKWASHERS,and two (2) 3/8 IN. WASHERS.
SECURELYattach four (4) 3-1/2 X 1 IN. PULLEYSto the PULLEYMOUNT,as shown on ~kawing,
using two (2) 3/8 X2 IN. BOLTS,two (2) 3/8 X3-3/4 IN. BOLTSeight (8) 3/8 IN. WASHEP~’.,and
(4) 3/8 IN. LOCKNUTS.

X 2 IN. BOLT,two (2) 3/8 IN. WASHERS,and one (1) 3/8 IN. LOCK
To assemble the CABLE,follow the CABLEROUTINGDIAGRAMon drawing, and use l~hc following
steps:
¯SECURELYassemble one end of the CABLEto the PULLEYMOI.FNTn~ng one (1)
BOLT,three (3) 3/8 IN. WASHERS,and one (1) 3/8 IN. LOCKRr0Tas shown in (DETAIL
(TIGttTEN TI~ CONNECTION EI~OUGH TO REMOVE~ PLAY, YET ALI.,OWISIG
THE LOOP TO MOVE FREELY)
¯ SECURELYattach the other end of the cable to the CARRIAGEusing one (1) QUICKLINK.
Assemble two (2) ROLLERPADSto the horizontal ends of the SWIVELARMS,using two (2)
1/2 IN. ~ CAPS.
Assembleone (1) ROLLERPADto the vertical end of the right SWIVELARM,using one (1) 3/4
STARLOCK COLLAtL
Assemble one (1) ROLLERPAD, one (1) 3/4 IN. PLASTICWASHER,and one (1) PLATE]2~
HOOK,using one (1) 3/4 IN. STARLOCKCOLLAR
To performthe Leg Abduction,(outer thigh exercise) use the following setup steps:
¯Loadweight pegs x~ith desired weight.
¯Pull the spring pin assemblyandadjust eacharmuntil the pin lines up with the first hole of the rotary
plate (armstogether).
¯Turnthe swivel armsso the horizontal roller pads are facing each other.
¯Sit in machineso legs are together, horizontal roller padsare underknees, andvertical roller padsare
on the outside of legs.
¯Cxriphandles underthe seat andpushlegs against vertical roller pads out awayfromeachother as far
as comfortable, bring legs back together, andrepeat.
Toperformthe LegAdduction,(inner thigh exercise) use the following setup steps:
¯Loadweight pegs with desired weight.
¯Pull the spring pin assemblyand adjust each armuntilthe pin lines up with oneof the three outer
holes of the rotary plate (armsawayfromeach other).
¯ Turnthe swivel armsso the horizontal roller pads face outward.
