• Insertthemouthpieceontheothersideofthe
connectingelement.
• Beforeeveryinhalationsession
washyourhandsthoroughly.
• Pushtheadjustingringover
theconnectingelement.

Whentreatmentiscarriedoutinconjunctionwithanebuliser,it
isessentialtofollowtheinstructionsforuseoftherespective
nebuliseraswell.
• Assemblethenebuliseryouareusing(withoutmouthpiece).
• Attachtheconnectingelementtothenebuliser.
• Attachthemouthpiecewithoutexpiratoryvalvetothecon-
nectingelement.
Toensurethattheexpiratoryresistanceissetcor-
rectly,itisimportantnottobreathethroughthe
nosewhilemakingthesetting.Therefore,usethe
nosecliptomakequitecertainthatyoudonot
breathethroughyournose.

regimenprescribedbyyourphysiotherapist:
•Useaperturenumberontheadjustingring.
•CarryoutthePEPtreatmenttimesaday.
• Coughtoclearthesecretionaftereveryinhalation/exhalationcycles.
•Placethecomponentsseparatelyonadry,lint-freecloth.
• DismantlethenebuliserandthePARIPEPSsystem.
• Cleantheindividualpartsusingwarmtapwateranda
littledishwashingliquid.
• Thenrinsethepartsthoroughlywithrunningwater.
• Makesurethatyouuseasufficientquantityofboiling
waterfordisinfectingtheparts(5 min). • Storethepartsinadryplace.
