TOOLS REQUIRED
•Socket set to include up to 14, 17 and 19mm (x2) sockets and wrenches.
•8mm Allen key or socket bit.
•Soft mallet.
•Small amount of superglue.
•Torque wrench (up to 40Nm).

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Off side (right side as you sit on bike)
•Remove bolt and nut arrowed in picture 1 (it is advisable to support the engine whilst doing
this).
•Take the engine bar supplied in the kit (item 7 – EB006 – 380mm long) and use this along
with a soft mallet (to prevent any damage to the threaded end) to gently tap through the OEM
engine bolt and remove it from the other side of the bike (as shown in picture 2).
•The engine bar should now be in the place of the original bolt. Ensure it is positioned centrally
on the bike with equal amounts of bar protruding from the frame bosses on either side of the
bike.
•Locate the spacer (item 14 – S0801 – 36.5mm long) over the exposed end of the engine bar on
the right side of the bike so that this sits within the frame boss as arrowed in picture 3.
•Take the right side adventure bar (item 11 – CB042) and locate the M10 x 1.25 x 90mm long
head hex bolt (item 12) and one M10 washer (item 4) through the hole on the fore-ward
mounting plate and then place the 32mm long spacer (item 13) onto the exposed end of the
bolt as shown in picture 4.
•Offer this assembly up to the bike, taking care to fit the rearmost mounting plate over the
exposed engine bar as shown in picture 3. Locate the fore-ward bolt into the engine mount and
engage the thread, do not tighten at this stage.
•Place one of the M12 washers (item 8) and one of the M12 nuts (item 10) onto the exposed
engine bar as shown in picture 3(engage the nut until it protrudes through the nut).
•Tighten the fore-ward bolt.
Near side (left side as you sit on bike)
•Remove bolt arrowed in picture 5 (it is advisable to support the engine whilst doing this).
•Locate the spacer (item 6 – S0800 – 18mm long) over the exposed end of the engine bar on
the left side of the bike so that this sits within the frame boss as arrowed in picture 7.
•Take the left side adventure bar (item 1 – CB041) and locate the M10 x 1.25 x 100mm long
head hex bolt (item 2) and one M10 washer (item 4) through the hole on the fore-ward

mounting plate and then place the 23mm long spacer (item 5) onto the exposed end of the bolt
as shown in picture 6.
•Offer this assembly up to the bike, taking care to fit the rearmost mounting plate over the
exposed engine bar as shown in picture 8. Locate the fore-ward bolt into the engine mount and
engage the thread, do not tighten at this stage.
•Place one of the M12 washers (item 8) and one of the M12 nuts (item 10) onto the exposed
engine bar as shown in picture 9 (engage the nut until it protrudes through the nut).
•Tighten the fore-ward bolt.
•Tighten both the M12 nuts ensuring equal amounts protrude from both nuts .
•Fit the two smaller rubber caps (item 3) onto the two fore-ward bolts, It is advised to apply a
small amount of superglue or silicon adhesive before fitting these to ensure they don’t come
off (as shown in picture 10).
•Fit the two larger rubber caps (item 9) onto the two rear-ward nuts, It is advised to apply a
small amount of superglue or silicon adhesive before fitting these to ensure they don’t come
off (as shown in picture 10)..

skill and care and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for
ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any defective Products
R&G shall at its option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have
been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good
engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting
its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability
shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect
the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they
were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be
in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G Racing. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the
gross value exc. P&P – at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No
returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not
refer to faulty goods.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE:
Coté droit (lorsqu’on est assis sur la moto)
•Enlever le boulon et l’écrou (photo 1) (il est conseillé de supporter le moteur en réalisant
cela).
•Prendre l’axe moteur fourni dans le kit (article 7 – EB006 – 380mm de long) et utilisez le avec
un petit maillet (pour éviter tout dommage sur la partie filetée) pour taper doucement dans le
boulon moteur d’origine puis enlevez le de l’autre coté de la moto (photo 2).
•L’axe moteur doit maintenant être à la place du boulon d’origine. Veiller à ce qu’il soit
positionné au centre sur la moto, avec une longueur identique dépassante de chaque coté.
•Placer l’entretoise (article 14 – S0801 – 36.5mm de long) sur l’extrémité de l’axe moteur du
coté droit de la moto, de façon à ce qu’elle se place dans le patron de cadre (photo 3).
•Prendre la barre aventure du coté droit (article 11 – CB042) puis placer le boulon M10 x 1.25
x 90mm (article 12) et une rondelle M10 (article 4) dans le trou sur la plaque de fixation
avant puis placer l’entretoise 32mm (article 13) sur l’extrémité du boulon, voir photo 4.
•Monter cet ensemble sur la moto, en prenant soin de positionner la plaque de fixation la plus
en arrière sur l’axe moteur, voir photo 3. Placer le boulon le plus en avant dans le support
moteur puis engagez le filetage, ne pas serrer pour le moment.
•Placer une des rondelles M12 (article 8) et un des écrous M12 (article 10) sur l’extrémité de la
l’axe moteur, voir photo 3(engager l’écrou jusqu’à ce que l’axe dépasse de l’écrou).
•Serrer le boulon le plus en avant.
Coté gauche (lorsqu’on est assis sur la moto)
•Enlever le boulon (photo 5) (il est conseillé de supporter le moteur en réalisant cela).
•Placer l’entretoise (article 6 – S0800 – 18mm de long) sur l’extrémité de l’axe moteur du coté
gauche de la moto, de façon à ce qu’elle se place dans le patron de cadre, photo 7.

•Prendre la barre aventure du coté gauche (article 1 – CB041) et placer le boulon M10 x 1.25 x
100mm (article 2) et une rondelle M10 (article 4) dans le trou sur la plaque de fixation avant
puis placer une entretoise de 23mm (article 5) sur l’extrémité du boulon, voir photo 6.
•Monter cet ensemble sur la moto, en prenant soin de positionner la plaque de fixation la plus
en arrière sur l’axe moteur, voir photo 8. Placer le boulon le plus en avant dans le support
moteur puis engagez le filetage, ne pas serrer pour le moment.
•Placer une des rondelles M12 (article 8) et un des écrous M12 (article 10) sur l’extrémité de la
l’axe moteur, voir photo 9 (engager l’écrou jusqu’à ce que l’axe dépasse de l’écrou).
•Serrer le boulon le plus en avant.
•Serrer les 2 écrous M12 en veillant à ce que leur filetage dépasse des écrous .
•Insérer les 2 petits capuchons en caoutchouc (article 3) sur les 2 boulons les plus en avant. Il
est conseillé d’appliquer un peu de superglue avant de les placer, pour vous assurer qu’ils ne
tomberont pas (photo 10).
•Insérer les 2 capuchons les plus larges (article 9) sur les 2 écrous les plus en arrière. Il est
conseillé d’appliquer un peu de superglue avant de les placer, pour vous assurer qu’ils ne
tomberont pas (photo 10).

Rechte Seite (in Fahrtrichung)
•Entfernen Sie die Schraube und die Mutter, die in Abbildung 1 gekennzeichnet sind (stützen
Sie dabei den Motor).
•Nehmen Sie die Motorhalteschraube vom Kit (Artikel 7 – EB006 – 380mm Länge) und
benutzen Sie sie zusammen mit einem Schonhammer (die Verwendung eines Schonhammers
verhindert eine Beschädigung des Gewindeendes), um die Originalmotorschraube sanft
anzutippen. Entfernen Sie die Originalschraube von der anderen Seite des Motorrads (siehe
Abbildung 2).
•Die Motorhalteschraube sollte nun an der ursprünglichen Stelle der Originalschraube platziert
sein. Bitte überprüfen Sie, dass diese mittig positioniert ist, und dass die Motorhalteschraube
an beiden Seiten des Motorrades den gleichen Abstand hat.
•Den Distanzhalter (Artikel 14 – S0801 – 36,5mm Länge) am hervorstehenden Ende der
Motorhalteschraube an der rechten Seite des Motorrades anbringen, wie in Abbildung 3
abgebildet.
•Nehmen Sie den Adventure Sturzbügel für die rechte Seite (Artikel 11 – CB042) – führen Sie
eine M10 x 1,25 x 90mm Inbusschraube (Artikel 12) und eine M10 Unterlegscheibe (Artikel
4) durch die Öffnung in der vorderen Montageplatte ein, dann bringen Sie den 32mm
Distanzhalter (Artikel 13) am hervorstehenden Ende der Schraube an, wie in Abbildung 4
abgebildet.
•Diese Einheit ans Motorrad ansetzen - bitte hierbei darauf achten, dass die hinterste
Montageplatte über der hervorstehende Motorhalteschraube angebracht wird (siehe Abbildung
3). Die vordere Schraube in die Motoraufhängung eindrehen und das Gewinde lose befestigen
– zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Schraube nicht festziehen.
•Eine M12 Unterlegscheibe (Artikel 8) und eine M12 Mutter (Artikel 10) an der
hervorstehende Motorhalteschraube anbringen, wie in Abbildung 3 abgebildet.
•Ziehen Sie die vordere Schraube fest.
