INTRODUCTION
The Arm & Hand Surgery table is made for operation of arms and hands. It is designed to be hooked
on a standard European accessory rail (25x10mm) and can be used with or without a supporting leg.
The plate is made from reinforced PFP (Phenol plastic) with very good x-ray facilities, making it
easy to operate with use of fluoroscopy. If used with microscope, it is recommended to use the
supporting leg.

This user manual is for clinical personnel, service personnel and others, who need the knowledge
about and understanding of how the arm & hand surgery table works and how it can be used.
Read user manual carefully before use of the equipment.
Always follow the instructions in user manual.

INSTALLATION
At the unpacking, check that there are no damages on the equipment. Also check that all parts are
received according to the delivery note.
The packing material consists of cardboard and plastic, which all can be recycled.
IMPORTANT SAFETY DIRECTIONS
When applying the arm & hand surgery table to an operating table, the responsible personnel
must be sure of that the both clamps are properly hooked on and locked to the accessory rail
of the operating table.
When a supporting leg is to be used, the person who apply the leg must be sure of that the
supporting leg is properly locked to the arm & hand surgery table.
A functional control of the clamp locking system must be done every day before use. Also
check for any kind of damage that can make the use hazardous.
The table is designed for a Safe Working Load of 40kg, corresponding to a patient weight of
300kg. To keep the safety factor, according to the European standards EN 60601 and EN
60601-2-46, the Safe Working Load must not be exceeded.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Be aware of, that service and all kind of repair only must be done by for this purpose educated
personnel. Changing of the construction without a written permission from the manufacturer is
strictly forbidden.
Cleaning Clean with soap and tempered water. If necessary, use antiseptic detergents with PH
between 6 –8. Do not use alcohol or strong acids.
Control Check daily for any kind of damages and that there are no loose parts on the arm &
hand surgery table. Check the clamps and supporting leg locking function.
Annual service
Once a year the arm & hand surgery shall be table carefully cleaned, moving parts shall
be lubricated with thin grease and the locking functions carefully tested.
