INTRODUCTION
The clamp 10-302 is a fixed non-rotatable clamp for fastening of different accessories on the
accessory rail of an operating table. Accessories with a post diameter from 16mm up to 20mm can
be held in this clamp. Also available is a variant with flat pushing plunge for accessories with one
or two flat surfaces on the post. The material in this clamp is all stainless steel, but in the pushing
plunge there is aluminium.
ABOUT THIS MANUAL
This user manual is for clinical personnel, service personnel and others who need knowledge about
and understanding of how the clamp works and how it can be used.

INSTALLATION
Check at the unpacking that there are no damages on the equipment. Also, check that the contents in
the box is corresponding to the delivery bill. Check that there are no loose parts in the box. The
packing material consists of cardboard and plastic and can be recycled following local regulations.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When applying the clamp on the accessory rail of the operating table, the responsible personnel
must be sure of that the hooks of the clamp are grasping the upper rear edge of the rail. The clamp
shall be hooked on from the upper side of the accessory rail. Locking of the clamp is done by
turning the lock handle anticlockwise.
If the lock handle fastening the accessory into the clamp loosens, the accessory must be hold by the
other hand, preventing the accessory from uncontrolled lowering which can cause jam injuries to
the patient or to the personnel.

Set desired height and lock by

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Cleaning
Clean with antiseptic detergent with PH 6-8 and tempered water. Dry with soft cloth.
Alcohol may be used if needed. Don´t use detergents containing strong acids or bases.
2. Control
Check before every use with patient that there are no damages on the clamp causing
risk for injuries to the patient or to the personnel when using it.
3. Annual service
Once every year the clamp shall be totally dismounted and carefully cleaned. Moving
parts shall be lubricated with a thin layer of waterproof grease. Control of threads
shall be done and worn parts must be replaced.
