1 Product Description
The RG-PF2920 series switches are simplified optical Ethernet (SOE) switches released by Ruijie Networks for
all-optical network scenarios. They adopt a new hardware architecture to reduce noise, save energy, and can
be flexibly installed. They implement dual-network deployment. They are also designed with built-in power
supply, which is stable and reliable and suitable for indoor scenarios.
With Ruijie's modular OS, they are fit for the SOE solution, and implement lifecycle management, security control,
plug and play, and intelligent O&M through software-defined networking (SDN).

1.2.1 Product Appearance
The RG-MF2920U-4GT1MS provides 4 x 10/100/1000M Base-T Ethernet electrical ports and 1 x 1G/2.5G Base-
X optical port on the front panel, and the DC power input port on the bottom panel.

Note
You can press the button for restoring factory defaults for at least 5s, so the configuration can be successful.
1.2.4 Power Supply
The RG-MF2920U-4GT1MS uses the adapter. The rated values are as follows:

1.2.5 Heat Dissipation
The RG-MF2920U-4GT1MS adopts natural heat dissipation to ensure that it works properly in a specified
environment. For the RG-MF2920U-4GT1MS, maintain sufficient clearance on both sides of the chassis and
above the chassis for air circulation. Dust the device every three months to avoid blocking ventilation openings
on the housing.
