Point 1 - The screen comes with a standard 3 pin power plug which suitable for Australian and New Zealand
GPO’s (general power outlet).
The projection screen can be operated in three ways:
2 Channel Infra Red Remote Control - supplied
Impulse wall Switch – Up & Down (supplied by others)
Dry Contact Closure – Two momentary contacts (one for UP and one for DOWN)
Point 2 - Infra Red Remote Control
The projection screen is packaged with a 2 channel Infra Red Transmitter
and a 2000mm long IR Sensor, already connected to the screen and
exiting the rear of the canister.
Position the IR Sensor Eye with double sided tape or a U Pin, so that it can
be seen from where you wish to operate the projection screen, and use the
up and down buttons on the transmitter on channels 1 or 2 to operate the
screen.
Point 3 - Impulse Wall Switch (supplied separately – Item Number 3500998).
The Connect Module equipped projection screen can also have simple wall switch operation, although due to
interior décor choices the actual switch itself is not supplied with the screen and needs to be sourced.
The Connect Module comes with a pluggable terminal block, located as plugged into the module, so that you
can wire the wall switch to the connector and then plug it into the control module itself.
Point 3 - Dry Contact Closure
This is the industry standard method of switching a projection screen via a Building Control
System, such as AMX, Crestron, C-Bus, etc…etc
It is operated on a SPDT (single pole double throw) switching standard with an Open,
Close and Common input port. It utilises the same connection as the above described
Impulse Wall Switch.
Point 4 – Daisy Chain Link to other connect Modules (cable supplied by others)
RJ11 6 Core Straight Through Data cable can link up to 9 devices for multiple products.
Point 5 – (Optional Accessory) Low Voltage Trigger Relay Module / Item No 3500404
Switches device upon the receipt of 5v to 24v DC from a projectors low volt output port, plugs
into the left hand RJ11 on the module.
