Moving, Loading,
Unloading and Storing
1a. Never move a loaded case.
Always unload the case, lock and
tape drawers/doors closed.
1b. Never lift the case by its top,
for example with a Spider Crane®.
2a. Always load case starting at
the bottom.
2b. Always unload case starting
at the top opening.
2c. Never deactivate the drawer
interlock mechanism to open more
than one drawer at a time.
3. Never tip case upward and
place unit on end.

1. Pull open plastic plug cover.
2. While pressing the plug retainer tab to the right,
insert a coin or the head of a key into the slot and turn
90oclockwise. This will unlock the case. You will hear
the lock mechanism open.
3. Push plug retainer tab down and remove plastic
plug from parent unit.
4. Position lock cylinder tab at 45oor (2:00 position.)
Insert lock cylinder at a tilted angle so the tab will
collapse.
5. Push lock cylinder into the hole until it stops and
turn the lock plug assembly clockwise 45o
(or the 3:00 position) and remove the key.
CAUTION: Make sure the tab is
located at 45oor 2:00 before
inserting lock cylinder.
CAUTION: Make sure you unlock the
case BEFORE proceeding to step 3.

Front Removal of Lock Cylinder
1. Turn lock plug to unlocked position with
conventional key.
2. Insert removal tool into lock cylinder.
3. Rotate lock cylinder assembly slightly in a
counter clockwise direction while at the same
time pulling on removal tool, thus removing the
lock cylinder from the lock assembly.
4. At this time the mechanism inside the lock
assembly may rotate back to the locked position
preventing the installation of new lock plug. If
this occurs, insert a flat-bladed screwdriver into
the back of lock assembly and turn clockwise
unlocking the lock assembly. Insert tool into new
lock plug assembly. Hold tool in a horizontal
position and insert new lock plug assembly into
lock assembly. It may be necessary to hold the
new plug assembly with finger while removing
tool.

Removing a Drawer
1. Remove #8-18 x 1/4"
screws connecting drawer
body to suspensions.
2. Toward the rear of the
drawer, use a flat-blade
screwdriver to disengage
the drawer body barbs from
the suspensions.
3. Lift drawer out of
suspensions.

Installation of a Drawer
Suspension
If a drawer suspension becomes
disengaged, re-install the
suspension as follows:
NOTE: Suspensions must NOT be
installed with a hammer.
1. Insert the rear hook of the
suspension into the rear slot in
the case side.
2. Pull suspension out to gain
better leverage.
3. Insert the front hook of the
suspension into the front slot in
the case side by rotating slightly
(3a). PRESS DOWN to snap the
slide into position (3b).
NOTE: Horizontal trim may be
moved/slid from side-to-side to
center the trim if required.

1. With the help of an assistant, tip the
case onto a shipping blanket on its back.
2. Install storage glide by lining up
holes with glide and assemble with
screws provided. Repeat for the
remaining glides.
3. With the help of an assistant,
tip the case upright on its glides.
To adjust the height of glide, turn
lower portion of glide clockwise to
lower and counter-clockwise to raise
the case until case is level.
NOTE: The glide is set for an overall
case height of 24" for a 1-1/2 High low
storage and a case height of 18" for a
1 High low storage.
NOTE: 30”, 36”, 42” and 48” wide
cases require four (4) glides. 60” and
72” wide cases require a 5th glide
located at the front center of the unit.

open at a time if the mechanism
is properly installed.

Cases Together:
Side-to-Side
1. Align cases and slide together.
All cases should be level and
square to ensure proper hole
alignment.
2. Align ganging bracket with
slots located underneath the case
and insert rear hooks of bracket
into slots as shown (2a).
With rear hooks engaged,
rotate front hooks upward to the
front slots (2b).
With front hooks engaged pull the
ganging bracket forward until the
anit-dislodgement tab is
engaged (2c).
Push on the front surface to
confirm engagement. If properly
engaged the ganging bracket will
resist movement (2d).
To remove, pull downward on
the spring handle to disengage the
anti-dislodgement tab (2e), then
push backward and rotate front
hooks downward.

1. Align cases and slide together.
NOTE: The ganging bracket will
accomodate a tight fit or a 1" gap.
2. For a tight fit use the outboard
set of slots and for a 1" gap use
the inboard set of slots.
