Base Frame Assembly for Booth
1. Remove packaged aluminum trim and set aside.
Trim will be assembled later.
2. Place the Extension Frame and Link on a clean
surface adjacent to the mating Seat Base Frames.
3. Remove attachment bolts from top of all legs.
4. Insert legs into brackets at the corners of the frame.
NOTE: The square notch in the clevis brackets will
determine the orientation of the legs (refer to illustration).
5. Install leg attachment bolts from step 3 and tighten
securely with 1/4” hex wrench (”Allen Key”). For best
results, bolts should be tightened to 180 in/lbs. or 15 ft/lbs.
6. Install link assembly by aligning holes at the corners of
the Seat Base Frames and Extension Frame and installing
six (6) clevis link pins. Note: link pins do not require cotter
pins.
7. Adjust glides to level base assembly.

Mounting Corded Power Module
to the Base Frame
It is preferred to do this before installing
components on the top of the Base Frame for
easier access.
1. Determine the front of the Base Frame and
locate the power module in the desired location on
the underside of the base frame front rail. Check
power cord length to make sure the desired
location enables it to reach the building power
outlet safely.
2. Slide power module onto bracket and tighten
thumb screw to clamp it in place.
3. Place module with bracket in its position and
mark hole locations. Two options: 1) drill 1/8”
diameter pilot holes through the entire front rail
from the front, or 2) drill 1/8” diameter pilot holes
through the back of the front rail. Deburr holes on
the back face of the rail.
4. Place module on the back face of the base
frame front rail and install fasteners. Tighten
fasteners securely.
5. Plug power cord into outlet and manage
extra cord under the base per local codes.

Locating Power on the Base Frame
Note: These steps should be completed prior to installation of
seats, backs and cabinets for easier access. Removal of these
items is recommended before adding modular power if they have
already been installed.
1. Locate power module on a Seat Base Frame (see illustration).
The measurement shown applies to either left- or right-side.

Mounting Modular Power on a Base Frame
1. If electrical layout calls for dual power modules, assemble
these using the in-line connector provided.
2. Install power module clips to mounting brackets with fasten-
ers and tighten securely. Snap power modules onto the clips.
3. Locate power module assemblies at the correct locations
and secure the bracket to the frame rail with set screws.

cian should use code-compliant junction boxes and
locate them as shown in the illustration.

Connection of the building power to the Base
Power-In harness
1. The electrician first locates the building interface and determines
the appropriate harness length. The electrician will cut the harness to
length leaving enough wire for the building interface.
2. The electrician makes the wiring connections and secures a face
plate to the junction box.
3. Do not proceed until the harness is disconnected from the power
module. The electrician makes the hardwired connections to the
building interface per the local electrical code, then checks the in-feed
harness for continuity. If the continuity is good, the electrician secures
a face plate to the junction box and connects the in-feed harness to
the power module.
4. The electrician checks and confirms continuity at all outlets.

Attaching the Base Power-In
Harness to the Base Frame
1. Measure the distance from the power source
to locate the appropriate position of the strain
relief bracket on the slotted rail of a Seat Base
Frame (refer to local codes for this distance).

5. Per the electrical layout, connect the “H” base power-in
connector(s) to the appropriate power module as shown.
Make sure this connection is secure.
6. If applicable, route and connect modular harness(es)
from either the “H” connector or the other end of the power
module to the other power modules. Make sure all connec-
tions are secure.
7. Secure all harnesses immediately adjacent to the
underside of the frame for the entire length of the harness
using cable ties included or commercially available strain
relief brackets, hangers, etc.

Booth Cabinet Assembly
1. Place cabinet unit on a clean surface
with front facing down.
2. Remove both shipping brackets from
the bottom of the cabinet.
3. (Requires two people) Align and place
unit on top of base frame.
4. From under the Base Frame, install
the clamp brackets, making sure each
bracket is fully engaged with the frame
and tighten securely with fasteners. For
best results, fasteners should be
tightened to 180 in/lbs. or 15 ft/lbs.
5. Models with monitor mounting
brackets: Secure bracket to the back
panel with four (4) fasteners provided
(holes are pre-drilled). A 1-7/8” hole
should be made in the back for monitor
power cord routing.
