PreparingforInstallation
NoPartsRequired
Procedure
1.Parkthemachineonalevel,smoothsurfacewith
sufcientspacetoaccessbothsidesofthemowing
deck.
2.Lowerthemowingdecktotheshortestcutting
height.
3.Stoptheengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,set
theparkingbrake,removetheignitionkeyfromthe
ignitionswitch,anddisconnectthespark-plugwire.
CAUTION
Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,
someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengineand
seriouslyinjureyouorotherbystanders.
Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitchand
disconnectthewirefromthesparkplugbefore
youinstallthekit.Setthewireasidesothatit
doesnotaccidentallycontactthesparkplug.
4.Raisetherearofthemachineofftheground,support
bothendsoftherearaxlewithjackstands,and
removebothrearwheels.
