Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
▪ Das Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Personen mit
reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten
oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn
sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren ver-
standen haben.
▪ Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
▪ Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen nicht von Kindern durch-
geführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und beaufsich-
tigt.
▪ Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind vom Gerät und der Anschlussleitung
fernzuhalten.
▪ Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss sie
durch den Hersteller oder seinen Kundendienst des Herstellers oder
eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen
zu vermeiden.

Vor dem Benutzen
Die Gebrauchsanweisung aufmerksam lesen. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch, die
Sicherheit und die Wartung des Gerätes. Sie soll sorgfältig aufbewahrt und gegebenenfalls an Nachbe-
nutzer weitergegeben werden.
Das Gerät darf nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck, gemäß dieser Gebrauchsanweisung, verwendet
werden. Beim Gebrauch die Sicherheitshinweise beachten.

Weitere Sicherheitshinweise
Das Gerät
▪ Nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen. Zuleitung und
Stecker müssen trocken sein und die Anschlussleitung darf heiße Geräteteile nicht berühren.
▪ Nur mit einwandfreiem Verlängerungskabel betreiben und auf ausreichende Länge und sichere
Verlegung achten.
▪ Nur in geschlossenen Räumen verwenden.
▪ Muss zum Betrieb zu allen Seiten und nach oben frei auf dem Tisch und mit ausreichendem
Abstand zu anderen Wärmequellen (z.B. Herdplatte, Ofen) aufgestellt werden, um Schäden am
Gerät zu oder einen Brand zu vermeiden.
▪ Auf eine ebene und feste Oberfläche stellen.
▪ Nicht auf empfindliche oder weiche Unterlagen (Glastisch, Tischtuch, lackierte Möbel, etc.) stellen.
▪ Als Servierschüssel immer mit aufgesetzter Abdeckscheibe nutzen und Belüftungsöffnung vor
dem Servieren mit einem Küchentuch säubern, um Rückstände auf empfindlichen Oberflächen zu
vermeiden.
▪ Nicht in Betrieb nehmen bzw. sofort Netzstecker ziehen, wenn:
⋅Gerät oder Netzkabel beschädigt ist;
⋅der Verdacht auf einen Defekt nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem besteht.
In diesen Fällen das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.
▪ Nicht ohne Aufsicht betreiben.
▪ Während des Betriebes nicht bewegen.
▪ Nach Gebrauch immer ausschalten und Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
▪ Vollständig abkühlen lassen bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.
▪ Zur Reinigung nicht in Wasser tauchen. Beachten Sie die Reinigungshinweise im Kapitel „Reinigung
und Pflege“
▪ Der Netzstecker ist zu ziehen:
⋅bei Störungen während des Betriebes,
⋅vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege,
⋅nach dem Gebrauch
▪ Bei Zweckentfremdung, falscher Bedienung oder nicht fachgerechter Reparatur wird keine Haftung
für eventuelle Schäden übernommen. Ebenso sind Garantieleistungen in solchen Fällen ausge-
schlossen.
▪ Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt.

ACHTUNG Verbrennungsgefahr!
▪ Gerät nicht ohne aufgesetzten Deckel betreiben, da sonst aufplatzende, heiße Maiskörner heraus-
geschleudert werden können.
▪ Berührbare Oberflächen können bei eingeschaltetem Gerät heiß werden und bleiben auch nach
dem Ausschalten noch heiß!
▪ Gerät nicht im heißen Zustand transportieren.
▪ Handgriffe von Deckel und Grundgerät beim Umdrehen des Geräts fest zusammenhalten.
▪ Zur Entnahme des fertigen Popcorns Gerät immer über eine Arbeitsfläche halten. Restliches Öl, Fett
oder Kondenswasser könnten austreten.
ACHTUNG Verschluckungsgefahr!
Vergewissern Sie sich vor und nach jeder Popcorn-Zubereitung, dass die Befestigungsschraube und
der Popcorn-Wender richtig befestigt bzw. nicht gelöst sind und sich nicht im zubereiteten Popcorn
befinden.
Verwendung
Mit dem WMF KÜCHENminis Popcorn Maker kann süßes oder salziges Popcorn mühelos und schnell
zubereitet werden. Je nach Vorliebe kann Butter während der Zubereitung sauber und bequem über
die Belüftungsöffnung hinzugefügt werden.
Aufstellen und Anschließen
▪ Alle Verpackungsteile vom Gerät entfernen.
▪ Das Gerät vor Inbetriebnahme/Erstgebrauch oder nach jeder Nutzung entsprechend den Hinweisen
im Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“ reinigen.
▪ Auf einer ebenen und festen Oberfläche nahe einer Steckdose aufstellen.
Inbetriebnahme
Zutaten und Mengenangaben:
Mais Pflanzenöl Butter/Margerine
50 g 1 Esslöffel 5-10 g
Hinweis: Butter, Margarine oder Ähnliches nicht auf die antihaftbeschichtete Heizplatte geben,
sondern ausschließlich über die Belüftungsöffnung hinzugeben

Die entsprechende Menge Pflanzenöl und Mais in den WMF KÜCHENminis
Popcorn Maker füllen den Mais gleichmäßig auf der antihaftbeschichteten
Heizplatte verteilen.
Achtung! Nur Pflanzenöl und keine Butter, Margarine oder ähnliches
auf die Heizplatte geben, da diese Zutaten verbrennen würden.
Hinweis: Für eine leichte Reinigung des Geräts empfehlen wir, Zucker und
Salz erst hinzuzugeben, wenn das Popcorn fertig ist.
Den Deckel schließen und sicherstellen, dass die Griffe des Deckels sicher mit
den Griffen am Grundgerät verbunden sind. Die Abdeckscheibe während des
Betriebs entfernen, damit überflüssige Feuchtigkeit entweichen kann.
Hinweis: Für gebuttertes Popcorn die empfohlene Menge gekühlte Butter
gleichmäßig leicht in die Löcher in die Belüftungsöffnung streichen.
Den Netzstecker in die Steckdose stecken und das Gerät einschalten. Der
Popcorn-Wender beginnt sich zu drehen.
Achtung! Heizung und Popcorn-Wender bleiben eingeschaltet bis der
Netzstecker gezogen oder das Gerät ausgeschaltet wird.
Wenn Sie nach ca. 5 Minuten kein aufplatzender Mais mehr zu hören ist, das
Gerät ausschalten und Netzstecker ziehen. Die Belüftungsöffnung ggf. von
Rückständen reinigen. Butterreste können vorab mit einem Küchenpinsel
durch die Löcher gestrichen werden.
Achtung! Die Abdeckscheibe fest auf den Deckel aufdrehen.
Hinweis: Die Anzahl an aufgeplatzten Maiskörnern ist abhängig vom Alter
und dem Feuchtegehalt des Maiskorns und kann daher variieren.
Vor dem Wenden des Geräts die Handgriffe von Deckel und Grundgerät fest
zusammenhalten.
Achtung! Vor dem Wenden Gerät ausschalten und Netzstecker ziehen.
Vorher das Gerät nicht wenden.
Beide Griffe mit den Händen fest umschließen und das Gerät, vom Körper
weg, umdrehen.
Achtung Verbrennungsgefahr! Das Grundgerät an den Griffen vom Deckel
abheben und die Heizplatte nicht berühren. Auf austretenden Dampf achten.
Das Popcorn ist nun servierfertig und kann mit Zucker, Salz oder anderen
Gewürzen verfeinert werden.
Hinweis: Bei Wunsch nach weiteren Portionen das Popcorn in eine andere
Schüssel geben und wieder bei Schritt 1 beginnen. Das Gerät jedoch minde-
stens 5 Minuten abkühlen lassen.

Reinigung und Pflege
▪ Den Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen.
▪ Fett- oder sonstige Rückstände am besten auf der noch handwarmen Heizplatte mit einem
Küchentuch entfernen. Hierzu auch den Popcorn-Wender durch Öffnen der Schraube gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn entfernen.
▪ Deckel und Abdeckscheibe in lauwarmem Wasser unter Zugabe eines Spülmittels reinigen.
Hinweis: Kein Scheuermittel, Metallschwamm oder Backofenreiniger verwenden.
Das Grundgerät nie in Wasser tauchen oder mit Wasser behandeln. Nur mit einem feuchten Tuch und
etwas Spülmittel abwischen und trockenreiben.

Important safety information
▪ The appliance can be used by children older than 8 years of age as

they are supervised or have received instructions on how to use the
appliance safely and have understood the resulting risks.

manual.

Additional safety information
The appliance
▪ Only connect to earthed wall sockets that have been installed in accordance with the regula-
tions. The cable and plug must be dry, and the connection cable must not touch hot parts of the
appliance.
▪ Only operate with an extension cable if the extension cable is in perfect condition. Make sure there
is sufficient cable length and that it is securely positioned.
▪ Only operate indoors.
▪ To operate the appliance, it must be positioned such that it can be freely accessed from all sides
and from the top and at a sufficient distance from other sources of heat, e.g. a hotplate or an oven,
in order to avoid damage to the appliance or the risk of fire.
▪ Place it on a level and firm surface.
▪ Do not place it on delicate or soft surfaces such as a glass table, tablecloth or varnished furniture.
▪ When using it as a serving bowl, always make sure the cover plate is in position and clean the
ventilation opening with kitchen towel before serving, in order to avoid any residues coming into
contact with sensitive surfaces.
▪ Do not operate the appliance and/or pull out the mains plug immediately if:
⋅The appliance or the mains cable is damaged.
⋅You suspect that the appliance may be defective after being dropped or a similar incident.
In such cases, return the appliance to be repaired.
▪ Do not leave the appliance unattended.
▪ Do not move the appliance while it is in operation.
▪ After use, always switch the appliance off and pull the mains plug out of the socket.
▪ Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning it.
▪ To clean it, do not immerse it in water. Follow the cleaning instructions in the “Cleaning and care”

WARNING: Risk of burning!
▪ Do not use the appliance without the lid in place as otherwise, bursting, hot popcorn kernels may
be ejected.
▪ When the appliance is switched on, its touchable surfaces can get hot and they also remain hot
even after the appliance has been switched off!
▪ Do not transport the appliance when it is hot.
▪ Hold the handles of the lid and the base unit firmly together when turning the appliance over.
▪ Always hold the appliance over a work surface to remove the prepared popcorn. Residual oil, fat or
condensation could run out.
WARNING: Choking hazard!
Before and after each time you prepare popcorn, make sure that the fastening screw and the popcorn
turner are firmly in place, respectively not loosened, and that they have not fallen into the prepared
popcorn.
Using the appliance
Making sweet or salty popcorn is easy and quick with the WMF KITCHENminis Popcorn Maker. Depend-
ing on your preference, you can simply add butter through the ventilation opening while the popcorn
is being prepared, without causing any mess.
Setting up and connecting
▪ Remove all packaging from the appliance.
▪ Clean the appliance before commissioning/using it for the first time and after each use, in accord-
ance with the information in the “Cleaning and care” section.
▪ Place the appliance on a level and firm surface near a mains power socket.
Using the appliance for the first time
Ingredients and quantities:
Popping corn Vegetable oil Butter/margarine
50 g 1 tablespoon 5-10 g
Note: Do not place butter, margarine or similar on the non-stick hotplate, but only through the
ventilation opening.

Put the corresponding quantity of vegetable oil and popping corn into the
WMF KITCHENminis popcorn maker. Spread the popping corn evenly over the
non-stick hotplate.
Caution! Only add vegetable oil, not butter, margarine or similar on the
hotplate, as these ingredients would burn.
Note: To make cleaning the appliance easier, we recommend only adding the
sugar or salt once the popcorn is ready.
Close the lid and make sure that its handles are securely connected to the
handles of the base unit. Remove the cover plate while the appliance is in
operation so that any excess moisture can escape.
Note: To make buttery popcorn, spread the recommended quantity of chilled
butter lightly into the holes in the ventilation opening.
Plug the appliance into the mains power socket and switch the appliance on.
The popcorn turner starts to rotate.
Warning: The heating and the popcorn turner remain switched on until
the appliance is unplugged or is switched off.
When after 5 minutes or so you can no longer hear the sound of bursting
popping corn, switch the appliance off and unplug it from the mains power
socket. Clean any residues from the ventilation opening. Any butter residue
can be brushed through the holes beforehand, using a basting brush.
Caution! Screw the cover plate firmly onto the lid.
Note: The total number of popped corn grains depends on the age and
moisture of the corn and can therefore vary.
Hold the handles of the lid and the base unit firmly together before turning
the appliance over.
Caution! Before turning the appliance over, switch it off and pull out the
mains plug from the mains power socket. Do not turn the appliance over
before you have done this.
Hold both handles firmly and turn the appliance over, away from your body.
Warning: Risk of burning! Lift the base unit off of the lid using the handles
and do not touch the hotplate. Beware of any escaping steam.
The popcorn is now ready to serve and can be refined with sugar, salt or
other flavourings.
Note: If you want to make some more, put the prepared popcorn into
another bowl and start again from step 1. However, you must first let the
appliance cool down for at least 5 minutes.

Cleaning and care
▪ Disconnect the mains plug from the mains power socket and allow the appliance to cool down.
▪ While the hotplate is still just warm to the touch, use a piece of kitchen towel to remove as much
fat and other residue from it as possible. Also remove the popcorn turner by turning the screw in a
counter-clockwise direction.
▪ Wash the lid and the cover plate in lukewarm water using washing-up liquid.
Note: Do not use abrasive detergents, metal scourers or oven cleaning products.
Never immerse the base unit in water or use water to clean it. Simply put a little washing-up liquid on
a damp cloth, wipe the appliance and then pat it dry.

▪ This product is supplied with a 13 A plug conforming to BS 1363 fitted to the mains lead. If the
plug is unsuitable for your socket outlets or needs to be replaced, please note the following. If the
plug is a non-rewireable one, cut it from the mains lead and immediately dispose of it. Never insert
it into a socket outlet as there is a very great risk of an electric shock.
▪ The replacement of the plug at the mains lead has to be done according to the following instruc-

Important: The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colou-
red markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
⋅the wire which is coloured green and yellow must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol , or coloured green or green and yellow,
⋅the wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked the
letter N or coloured black,
⋅the wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured red.
▪ If a 13 A (BS 1363) plug is used it must be fitted with a 3 A fuse conforming to BS 1362 and be
ASTA approved. If any other type of plug is used, the appliance must be protected by a 5 A fuse
either in the plug or adapter or at the distribution board.
If in doubt - consult a qualified electrician.
▪ Never use the plug without closing the fuse cover.
The appliance complies with European directives.
At the end of its life, this product must not be disposed of in normal household
waste but must instead be taken to a collection point for recycling electrical and
electronic appliances.
The materials are recyclable in accordance with their labelling. Reuse, recycling
and other ways of reutilising old appliances make an important contribution to
protecting our environment.
Please ask your local authorities for information about the appropriate disposal
point.

nement et l’entretien de l’appareil, ainsi que les consignes de sécurité. Conservez ce mode d’emploi en
lieu sûr et transmettez-le à tout utilisateur ultérieur de l’appareil.
L’appareil ne doit être utilisé que pour l’usage auquel il est destiné et conformément aux présentes
instructions d’utilisation.
Respectez toujours les consignes de sécurité quand vous utilisez l’appareil.

Information supplémentaire sur la sécurité
L’appareil
▪ L’appareil ne doit être raccordé qu’à des prises murales mises à la terre et installées conformément
à la réglementation. Le câble et la prise ne doivent pas être mouillés et le câble de raccordement ne
doit pas être en contact avec les parties chaudes de l’appareil.
▪ N’utilisez pas de rallonge, sauf si elle en parfait état. Vérifiez que vous avez suffisamment de câble
et qu’il est positionné de façon sécurisée sur toute sa longueur.
▪ L’appareil ne doit être utilisé qu’à l’intérieur.
▪ Pour utiliser l’appareil, il faut le placer de façon à ce qu’il soit librement accessible de tous les côtés
et d’en haut, et à une distance suffisante de toute autre source de chaleur, comme les plaques de
cuisson ou le four, afin d’éviter d’endommager l’appareil ou de déclencher un incendie.
▪ Placez l’appareil sur une surface plane et stable.
▪ Ne le posez pas sur une surface fragile ou molle, comme une table en verre, une nappe ou un
meuble vernis.
▪ Quand vous l’utilisez comme saladier de service, vérifiez systématiquement que la plaque supé-
rieure est en place et nettoyez l’orifice de ventilation avec un torchon avant de servir. Vous éviterez
ainsi que des résidus de nourriture entrent en contact avec les surfaces sensibles.
▪ N’utilisez pas l’appareil et/ou ne le débranchez pas immédiatement si:
⋅l’appareil ou le câble est endommagé;
⋅vous suspectez un défaut de fonctionnement, après la chute de l’appareil ou un incident
similaire.
Dans ces situations, envoyez l’appareil en réparation.
▪ N’utilisez jamais l’appareil sans surveillance.
▪ Ne bougez pas l’appareil pendant qu’il est en marche.
▪ Après utilisation, éteignez toujours l’appareil et débranchez-le.
▪ Attendez que l’appareil ait complètement refroidi avant de le nettoyer.
▪ Pour le nettoyer, il ne faut jamais le plonger dans l’eau. Suivez les instructions de nettoyage de la
section «Nettoyage et entretien».
▪ Débranchez la prise du secteur:
⋅en cas de dysfonctionnement de l’appareil en cours d’utilisation;
⋅avant le nettoyage et l’entretien;
⋅après utilisation.

AVERTISSEMENT: Risque de brûlures!
▪ N’utilisez pas l’appareil sans avoir mis en place le couvercle: sans cela, des grains de maïs chauds
risquent d’être projetés dans la pièce.
▪ Quand l’appareil est allumé, les surfaces extérieures peuvent devenir très chaudes et elles restent
chaudes même après l’extinction de l’appareil!
▪ Ne déplacez pas l’appareil tant qu’il est chaud.
▪ Tenez fermement ensemble les poignées du couvercle et de la base de l’appareil lorsque vous
retournez l’appareil.
▪ Placez systématiquement l’appareil sur un plan de travail quand vous récupérez le pop-corn après
cuisson. Des résidus d’huile, de graisse ou de condensation peuvent couler.
AVERTISSEMENT: Risque d’obstruction!
Avant et après chaque utilisation, vérifiez que la vis de fixation et l’hélice sont bien en place et qu’elles
ne sont pas tombées dans le pop-corn.
Utilisation de l’appareil
Préparer du pop-corn sucré ou salé est rapide et simple avec la machine à pop-corn WMFKITCHEN-
minis. Selon vos goûts ou vos envies, vous pouvez ajouter un morceau de beurre à travers l’orifice de
ventilation pendant la cuisson du pop-corn, tout simplement!
Installation et branchement
▪ Enlevez tous les éléments d’emballage de l’appareil.
▪ Nettoyez l’appareil avant la première utilisation/ mise en service et après chaque utilisation, en
suivant les instructions de la section «Nettoyage et entretien».
▪ Placez l’appareil sur une surface horizontale et stable à proximité d’une prise électrique.
Première utilisation de l’appareil
Ingrédients et quantités:
Maïs à pop-corn Huile végétale Beurre/margarine
50g 1cuillère à soupe 5-10g
Remarque: ne mettez pas de beurre, de margarine ou d’autres matières grasses directement sur la
plaque chauffante antiadhésive, ajoutez-les à travers l’orifice de ventilation.

Mettez la quantité correspondante d’huile végétale et de maïs à pop-corn
dans la machine à pop-corn WMFKITCHENminis. Répartissez bien le maïs à
pop-corn sur toute la surface de la plaque chauffante antiadhésive.
Attention! Ajoutez uniquement de l’huile végétale, pas de beurre, de
margarine ou d’autres matières grasses car ces ingrédients risquent de
brûler.
Remarque: pour faciliter le nettoyage de l’appareil, nous vous recomman-
dons d’ajouter du sucre ou du sel seulement une fois que le pop-corn est
prêt.
Fermez le couvercle et assurez-vous que ses poignées sont bien enclenchées
dans celles de la base de l’appareil. Enlevez la plaque supérieure pendant que
l’appareil fonctionne, pour laisser s’échapper le trop-plein d’humidité.
Remarque: pour obtenir du pop-corn beurré, répartissez la quantité recom-
mandée de beurre frais doucement à travers les trous de ventilation.
Branchez l’appareil au secteur et allumez-le. L’hélice à pop-corn se met à
tourner.
Avertissement: le dispositif de cuisson et l’hélice à pop-corn restent
sous-tension tant que l’appareil n’est pas débranché ou éteint.
Quand, au bout de 5minutes environ, vous n’entendez plus de grains de maïs
éclater, éteignez l’appareil et débranchez-le de la prise. Nettoyez les résidus
à travers l’orifice de ventilation. Vous pouvez commencer par récupérer les
éventuels résidus de beurre à l’aide d’un pinceau de cuisine.
Attention! Vissez à fond la plaque supérieure au couvercle.
Remarque: le nombre total de grains de maïs transformés en pop-corn
dépend de la maturité et de l’humidité du maïs et peut donc varier.
Tenez fermement ensemble les poignées du couvercle et de la base de l’appa-
reil avant de retourner l’appareil.
Attention! Avant de retourner l’appareil, il faut l’éteindre et le débrancher
du secteur. Ne retournez jamais l’appareil s’il est allumé ou branché.
Tenez fermement l’appareil par ses deux poignées et retournez-le vers
l’extérieur.
Avertissement: Risque de brûlures! Soulevez la base de l’appareil du cou-
vercle en vous servant des poignées et ne touchez pas la plaque chauffante.
Faites attention aux jets de vapeur d’eau.
Le pop-corn est maintenant prêt à être servi, vous pouvez l’agrémenter avec
du sucre, du sel ou d’autres arômes.
Remarque: si vous voulez en refaire, versez le pop-corn déjà cuit dans un
autre saladier et recommencez depuis l’étape1. Mais vous devez laisser
refroidir l’appareil pendant au moins 5minutes.

Nettoyage et entretien
▪ Débranchez l’appareil de la prise électrique et laissez-le refroidir.
▪ Quand la plaque chauffante est redevenue à peine tiède au toucher, prenez un torchon et enlevez
autant de gras et autres résidus que possible. Retirez également l’hélice à pop-corn en dévissant la
vis dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.
▪ Lavez le couvercle et la plaque supérieure avec de l’eau tiède et du liquide vaisselle.
Remarque: n’utilisez pas un détergent abrasif, une éponge métallique ou un produit nettoyant pour
four.
N’immergez jamais la base de l’appareil dans l’eau et n’utilisez jamais d’eau pour la nettoyer. Il vous
suffit de verser un peu de liquide vaisselle sur un chiffon humide puis de frotter doucement l’appareil
jusqu’à ce qu’il soit sec.
