Do not use for gases and va ors, oil aerosols, asbestos, or sandblasting; articulate
concentrations that exceed either 10 times the occu ational ex osure limit or a licable
government regulations, whichever is lower. In the U.S., do not use when OSHA substance
s ecific standards, such as those for, arsenic, cadmium, lead in the construction industry, or 4,4’-
methylene dianiline (MDA), s ecify other ty es of res iratory rotection. This res irator does not
su ly oxygen.

This res irator can hel reduce inhalation ex osures to certain airborne biological articles (e.g.
mold, Bacillus anthracis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, etc.) but cannot eliminate the risk of
contracting infection, illness or disease. OSHA and other government agencies have not
established safe ex osure limits for these contaminants.

2. Before occu ational use of this res irator, a written res iratory rotection rogram must be
im lemented meeting all the local government requirements. In the United States, em loyers
must com ly with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 which includes medical evaluation, training, and fit

testing. In Canada, CSA standard Z94.4 requirements must be met and/or requirements of
the a licable jurisdiction, as a ro riate. Follow all a licable local regulations.
3. The articles which can be dangerous to your health include those so small that you cannot
see them.
4. Leave the contaminated area immediately and contact su ervisor if dizziness, irritation, or
other distress occurs.
5. Store the res irator away from contaminated areas when not in use.
6. Ins ect res irator before each use to ensure that it is in good o erating condition. Examine all
the res irator arts for signs of damage including the two headbands, attachment oints, and
nosecli . The res irator should be dis osed of immediately u on observation of damaged or
missing arts. Filtering face ieces are to be ins ected rior to each use to assure there are no
holes in the breathing. Immediately re lace res irator if damaged.

1. This res irator does not su ly oxygen. Do not use in atmos heres containing less than 19.5%
oxygen.
2. Do not use when concentrations of contaminants are immediately dangerous to life and
health, are unknown or when concentrations exceed 10 times the ermissible ex osure limit
(PEL) or according to s ecific OSHA standards or a licable government regulations,
whichever is lower.
3. Do not alter, abuse or misuse this res irator.
4. Do not use with beards or other facial hair or other conditions that revent a good seal
between the face and the sealing surface of the res irator.
5. Res irators can hel rotect your lungs against certain airborne contaminants. They will not
revent entry through other routes such as the skin, which would require additional ersonal
rotective equi ment (PPE).
6. This res irator is designed for occu ational/ rofessional use by adults who are ro erly
trained in their use and limitations. This res irator is not designed to be used by children.
7. Individuals with a com romised res iratory system, such as asthma or em hysema, should
consult a hysician and must com lete a medical evaluation rior to use.

Before use, store res irators in the original ackaging, away from contaminated areas, dust,
sunlight, extreme tem eratures, excessive moisture and damaging chemicals. When stored in
accordance with tem erature and humidity conditions s ecified below, the roduct may be
used until the “use by” date s ecified on ackaging. Always ins ect roduct and conduct a
user seal check before use as s ecified in User Instructions. If

1. Position the res irator covering the mouth and nose with the covered metal nose iece facing
u wards (Fig. 1). The res irator is ackaged with the covered metal nose iece slightly bent.
You may need to straighten with your hands before ositioning the res irator.
2. Pull the bottom stra over your head and osition it around the neck, below the ears (Fig. 2).

4. Adjust for a comfortable fit by ulling bottom edge under chin while holding to edge on nose
(Fig 4).
5. Place your fingerti s from both hands at the to of the metal nose iece. Using two hands,
mold the nose area to the sha e of your nose by ushing inward while moving your fingerti s
down both sides of the nose iece (Fig. 5).
