
OPERATING PROBLEMS
If there is a fault, connect up a single telephone to terminals
, 2, 3, 4 and to a push button on the entrance panel where
the anomaly is. In this way, you will be able to check whether
the problem is in the entrance panel or in the telephone
connections.

Check the mains voltage in the power supply. Check that
the voltage between and
V
of the power supply is 2
Vac. Check whether there are any short circuits and fix
them. Disconnect the power supply for minute and then
connect it up again.
If it still doesn’t work, disconnect all the power supply

and terminals, and check that the voltage between
and
V
is 2 Vac, if this is not the case then there may
be something wrong with the power supply.
The ca d holde s do not light up.
Check that the voltage between and

of the power
supply is 2 Vac. Check that the voltage between 9 and
0 in the audio unit, with the lighting push button activated,
is 2 Vac. Check whether the lamp is burnt out.
The lighting push button pilot does not light up.
Check that the voltage between and

in the audio
unit is 2 Vac. If the voltage is correct, there may be
something wrong with the audio unit.

Check connections 2 and 3 from the audio unit to all the
telephones. Check the volume control on the panel and
the lighting push button pilot. Make certain that connectors
7 and 8 on the panels are connected up (Multiple-
access installations). If you cannot find the fault, there may
be something wrong with the audio unit.

telephone. If you cannot find the fault, there may be
something wrong with the telephone.

something wrong with the audio unit.
The call tone doesn’t ing in a telephone.
Check connections 2 and 5 from the telephone to the
entrance panel. Check that the telephone is not off the
hook. Check the push-button connection on the entrance
panel. If you cannot find the fault, there may be something
wrong with telephone or the panel push-button.
You cannot hea the call confi mation on the ent ance
panel.
Check that you can hear the telephones on the entrance
panel. Check that the call tone rings on the telephones.
If you cannot find the fault, there may be something wrong
with the audio unit.
The doo -opene doesn’t wo k.
Check that the voltage between and 2 in the audio unit,
without pressing the door-openers, is 5 Vdc. Check that
the voltage between and 2 in the audio unit, when
you press the door-openers, is 2 Vac. If you cannot find
the fault, the lock may be broken.

Check that at least one entrance panel has been defined
as the main one. If you cannot find the fault, there may
be something wrong with the audio unit.
You can hea seve al ent ance panels at the same
time on the telephones.
Check that only one panel has been defined as the main
one. Make certain that connectors 7 and 8 on the
panels are connected up. If you cannot find the fault, there
may be something wrong with the audio unit.
When you call one of the panels the est of the
panels in the system a e not deactivated.
Make certain that connectors 7 and 8 on the panels
are connected up. Check that the voltage between 2 and
7 in each one of the audio unit is 8 Vdc when you press
the push button on one of the panels. If you cannot find
the fault, there may be something wrong with the audio
units.
