Hub Feet - Leveling
Note - The Further system features 4 versions of hub feet; all install in a similar fashion.
Note - Flexible Hub Feet have three holes to allow hub cover and feet direction to vary.

7 - Press large shroud around base of hub until it snaps into place; slide at
shroud piece over open wall, behind large shroud.
6- Reinstall hub side cover.
5- Once level, tighten locknuts to hub bottom plate with 7/16” box end wrench.
4- Level hub assembly using standard leveling glide method.
3- Fasten locknuts on leveling screws leaving enough space for proper leveling.
2- Each hub baseplate features two holes for mounting leveling feet; Slide hub
over screws until glides are resting on hub foot.
1- Fasten two machine screws to foot using locknuts.

2- Attach bracket and beam to end leg.
4- End leg trim snaps into bracket channel.

Note - One to four beams can be connected to the hub using the Hub-to-Beam Bracket at any 30° increment.

1- Attach hub-to-beam bracket to end of beam.
2- Attach bracket and beam to top casting of hub.
4 - Slide gap llers into empty bosses of top casting. Bracket and hub trim
press into place. Rubber mallet may be required for proper alignment.
3- Install Electrical (11) and Beam Trim (20).
Note - Must attach to building stud on at least one side of inner support.
1- Attach inner support to beam.
2- Secure inner support and beam to the wall. (Fasteners not provided)
4- Attach top cap mounting bracket to inner support.
5- Attach outer cover to inner support and top trim to outer cover.
3- Install Electrical (11) and Beam Trim (20).

1- Assemble end support. Refer to individual models for installation.
2- Measure and mark a vertical line in the direct center of the beam.
3- Attach bench end bracket to end of beam.
4- Align two center holes of bracket with line made in step 2. Secure bracket
and beam to bench end support assembly.
6- Snap trim cover into place around bracket.
5- Install Electrical (11) and Beam Trim (20).

the quantity of receptacles used for a given circuit must both be in compliance with all national and local

Flexconnect™ Electrical System Options
The four-circuit, eight-wire electrical system is widely specified and
trusted by hundreds of thousands of end-users. This proven system
deliversfourcircuitsforeverypowerinfeedineithera3+1or2+2
configuration. The isolated/dedicated circuits are ideal for sensitive
computing equipment, while the common circuits are suitable for faxes,
copiers,tasklightsandotherperipherals.Boththe3+1and2+2
systems use the same pre-wired components, making it easy to adjust as
electrical needs change.
You can also choose a three-circuit, eight-wire system that has a
dedicated neutral for every hot circuit. The three-circuit components
havemodelnumberswithan“A”sufx.

To Order:
1. Determine which electrical system you will
use after consulting your electrician and
computer support personnel:

of Power In-feeds needed.

Four‑circuit, 3 + 1 Receptacle Option
Four‑circuit, 2 + 2 Receptacle Option
The3+1optionistheelectricalstandardusedonAllsteelsystems
for many years in most installations. This wiring option provides
three utility circuits plus an isolated/dedicated circuit for more
sensitive equipment. Circuit 2 (one of the 3 common circuits
sharing a neutral wire) cannot be used with single-phase building
electrical supply.
The2+2optionisawiringoptionthatprovidestwoutility
circuits and two isolated circuits for more extensive computer
usage applications.

1 - Remove cover from applicable support.
2 - Connect Jumper and H-connector to Power Block of Beam Power Kit.
3 - Connect In-feed to H-connector within support or Power Pole as shown.
Note - Install Beam Trim before connecting In-feed to system. (Page 20)

1 - Install freestanding base or oor anchor kit (4).
2- Unsnap hub side cover to access hub interior.
1- Install duplexes into power block. (one half only)
2- Unsnap hub side cover.
3- Connect power block to jumper or in-feed.
4- Place spacer plate over duplexes; insert power block into hub ports.
5- Press retaining brackets around the power block directly behind each
duplex until they snap into place.
3- Insert power module into hub cutout. Add spacers to top and bottom.
4- Slide thumb screws past ends of module. Tighten against spacers.

Note - Hub and beam structure must be completely assembled prior to
power pole installation.
Note - End condition trim mounts between bottom plate and mounting bracket, when applicable.

Note - Hub to Beam Power Kit must be installed before Power Pole and Ceiling In-feed.
1- Remove standard Hub Cover and side Sliding Access Door.
3- Attach Mounting Bracket to Hub/H-Leg over 2 interior L-brackets.
4- Reinstall Access Door; slide Hub Cover into place over Mounting Bracket.
2- Insert In-feed through hole of Ported Hub Cover & attach to H-connector.
