General Usage Notes
1. If is necessary to turn a credenza on its back or side, ensure that the floor is clean and
free of debris which may scratch the credenza.
2. Attachment hardware is provided in hardware packs unless otherwise noted.
3. Do not move credenza using front spanner as a handle.
4. Do not move seat base using front or rear spanner as a handle.

Note: When possible, locate the highest point of the oor and start leveling
from there. On carpeted oors, be sure the glides are supporting the
weight of the unit. If tipping the credenza is necessary, be aware of the
drawers and shelves opening or falling.
Step 1 – Place credenza as close to nal location
as possible.
Step 2 – Level the credenza from side to side and front to back. When
possible use a level across the credenza.
Step 3 – Do not extend glide more than 2 1/2".
Step 4 – Credenza should be ush to adjoining credenza both on the front
edge and the top side.

Step 1 – Remove drawers from credenza. Place counterweight(s) between front and rear horizontals; when
drawered units do not have solid bottoms. Solid bottoms require the counterweight to be placed
against the inside back of the unit.
Step 2 – Secure the counterweights in place with self drilling screws provided. Use 2 screws in a diagnonal
pattern when securing them to the bottom horizontals; use all 4 when securing them to the inside
wood back.

When using 1 counterweight, place it along
the center line of the drawered opening.
When using 2 or 3 counterweights evenly
space them inside the unit.

Step 1 – Place credenza onto its back on a clean carpeted surface or cardboard.
Step 2 – Align ganging bracket such that it is centered lengthwise along the depth of the case. Attach with
provided wood screws. There are no pilot holes.
Note: The ganging bracket has several holes for attachment to credenzas. Ensure that the correct
holes are used for the appropriate application as shown below. A right angle drive may be
required to attach ganging bracket.

WARNING
When ganging seat bases all lounge seats, backs, table tops and seat cushions should be removed from
seat base prior to turning onto backs. Damage may occur to the seat base and the accessories that could
lead to failure of components resulting in severe injury to yourself or others.
When ganging seat bases and no feet are being
removed, gang according to credenza procedures
using one ganging bracket.
When ganging seat bases and removal of foot is
necessary, use two ganging brackets located as
closely to missing foot as possible,
To remove foot, remove the leveler and
the four screws securing foot to unit.
Note: When ganging seat bases a misalignment of feet will occur when a
front foot and back are adjacent. It is acceptable to remove a foot to
eliminate the misalignment and improve the aesthetic.
Note: It may be necessary to use a right
angle drive to attach ganging bracket.

Step 1 – Place credenza onto its back on a clean carpeted surface or cardboard.
Step 2 – Align plinth base ganging brackets so there is approximately 1/2" oset from corner gussets to edge
of bracket. Attach with provided (eight) wood screws. There are no pilot holes.
Note: A right angle drive may be required to attach ganging bracket. Both brackets
are required.

Note: 12" Wardrobe Towers must be ganged; they are not to be used in a free standing application.
Step 1 – See Illustration 10. Ganging Credenzas.
Step 2 – Open door and attach tower to credenza with provided screws using either the two pilot holes
(on 24H Credenzas) as shown or the work surface attachment bracket pilot holes as shown
(on 28H Credenzas).
Note: A right angle drive may be required to attach tower to credenza.

Step 2 – Open door and attach tower to credenza with provided screws using either the two pilot holes
(on 24H Credenzas) as shown or the work surface attachment bracket pilot holes as shown
(on 28H Credenzas).

Note: 28H/42H credenzas ship without a top. Credenza top can span
multiple credenzas. Pilot holes will line up on ends only. Ends
of credenza tops must line up to ends of credenzas. 24H/42H
sliding door credenzas require a right angle drive for drill.
Step 1 – Remove shelves and drawers if necessary. Insert angle
blocks into 8 mm pilot holes on inside of case.
Step 2 – Place credenza top on credenza and align the front
of top with the front of the credenza. The top has
pilot holes in all screw locations for attachment to
credenza.
Step 3 – Insert provided wood screws into the outside front
pilot locations. This will either be through the front
metal spanner or into the plastic angle blocks
depending on the model. Leave these screws loose.
Step 4 – Ensure credenza top is square on credenza and
insert remaining wood screws into remaining pilot
holes in front metal spanner and metal back/angle
blocks.

Step 1 – Place seat cushion/table top onto seat base and slide
back until clips on underside of seat cushion/table top
engage metal stieners inside seat base.
Step 2 – Align holes on clips and front metal stiener and insert
provided machine screws.
Note: If table top has optional technology module,
follow installation instructions provided by Byrne
Electrical supplied with module. Use pre-cut
holes on table top and seat base to install and
route electrical components for module.
Step 1 – Secure lounge seat back to seat base by
inserting provided wood screws through holes
of lounge seat back and into pilot holes of
seat base back.
Step 2 – Place lounge seat onto seat base and slide
back until clips on underside of lounge seat
engage metal stieners inside seat base.
Step 3 – Align holes on front metal stiener with
holes on front clips of lounge seat. Insert
provided machine screws through clips into
front metal stiener.
Warning:
All 12 screws must be installed when securing back to seat
base. Failure to follow warning could cause back to disengage
resulting in severe injury to yourself or others.

Note: When using a 36" Wide seat base and attaching a
24" wide seat back, the corner bracket needs to be
relocated to the center of seat base to allow for the
back to attach properly.

Step 1 – Loosen screws on drawer
slide.
Step 2 – Adjust drawer for even reveal.
Step 3 – Tighten screws taking care not
to over tighten.
Step 1 – Unload drawer if necessary and fully
extend drawer.
Step 2 – Locate retaining tabs on each drawer side.
They are centered along the length of the
slide. Press rmly on retaining tabs and
pull drawer forward until free of credenza.
Step 1 – Unload drawer if necessary and fully

Step 2 – Locate retaining tabs on the top front of
each drawer side. Press rmly on retaining
tabs and lift up on front of drawer. Slide
drawer forward and lift free of credenza.

Door Side-To-Side Hinge Adjustment
Step 1 – Fully open cabinet doors.
Step 2 – Locate door alignment screw on door
hinge assembly.
Step 3 – Use the Phillips screwdriver to adjust door
alignment screw.
Step 4 – Turn door alignment screw clockwise to adjust
door out or counterclockwise to adjust door in.
Door Depth Hinge Adjustment
Step 1 – Fully open cabinet doors.
Step 2 – Locate hinge mounting screw on door hinge
assembly.
Step 3 – Use the Phillips screwdriver to loosen
(but do not remove) the hinge mounting screw.
Step 4 – Adjust alignment of door and retighten hinge
mounting screw.
Door Height Hinge Adjustment
Step 1 – Fully open cabinet doors.
Step 2 – Locate door alignment screw on door
hinge assembly.
Step 3 – Use the Phillips screwdriver to adjust door
alignment screw.
Step 4 – Turn door alignment screw clockwise to adjust
door down or counterclockwise to adjust door
up.
Note: Hinge plate may be slotted and require
adjustment by loosening screws.

Note: Door removal should only be necessary to
replace a damaged door.
Step 1 – Press hinge catch at rear of hinge
mounting plate (attached to door hinge
support).
Step 2 – While pressing hinge catch, pivot rear of
hinge away from hinge mounting plate.
Step 3 – Pull forward on hinge until hinge
mounting hooks come free of mounting
plate lugs.
Step 4 – Repeat procedure for remaining hinge.
Step 5 – Reinstall door by reversing this
procedure.
Step 1 – Push forward on hinge until the
mounting hooks contact the
mounting plate lugs.
Step 2 – When the mounting hooks engage
the mounting plate lugs, press the
rear of the hinge toward the mounting
plate until it latches with the catch.

Note: Dual access models require the door assembly to be removed from the case for adjustment. 24H
credenzas require the top to be removed; 28H/15H models require the side panel to be removed.
Step 1 – Use a at blade screwdriver to turn adjustment screw to raise/lower door. The adjustment screw has
ve pre-set positions of adjustment for both raising and lowering the door.
Step 2 – When raising/lowering door it may be necessary to raise or lower the upper guide in the upper track.
Press on adjustable tab on upper guide and move up/down as required. The upper guide has three
positions: fully extended, half extended and fully retracted.

Note: There are no pilot holes for brackets. It is recommended to place bracket and
maintain alignment by inserting a top and bottom screw in opposite corners of
the bracket and then insert the remaining screws.
Step 1 – Align side mount brackets to credenza side. The top edge of the bracket
aligns to the top edge of the credenza; for 28H units this is to the top edge of
the back, for 24H units this is to the bottom edge of the wood top. The side of
the bracket will align to the back edge of the credenza.
Step 2 – Attach bracket to the credenza using the provided wood screws. Ensure the
hooks are pointed upward.
