1 Anderson limited warranty
• The one-year warranty period begins on t he date t hat the new eq uipment is sold to
the custome r. If your eq uipment is used for co mmercial or ren tal purpo ses, th is
warranty will only be vali d f or a period of 1 year or a maxi mum of 5000 bal es for
trailers, individual bale wrappers, and inline wrappers.
• If during t he year fo llowing t he purc hase of a new ma chine, y our A nderson
equipment f ails t o function properly due to def ective d esign, materi als,
manufacturing, or assembly, our company will repair your equipment free of charge.
• Keep your original invoice or a photocopy. Please refer to your invoice whenever you
order parts, have questions about the operating procedures of your machine, or for
any questions you may have concerning your warranty.
• Replacement or repai r of equi pment part s must be perf ormed by an aut horized
Anderson deal er. Thi s includes parts and labour onl y. A ll wo rk m ust b e
preauthorized by the Anderson customer service department.
• The cu stomer will b e re sponsible for t ransporting the eq uipment to / from the
authorized dealer.
• The dealer will describe the terms of this warranty to the customer before the retail
sale a nd wil l reco rd t he dat e o f purc hase, t he serial number, a nd t he equi pment
description.
• To have equipment repaired under the warranty; the customer must advise his dealer
as soon as possible of the problem and request that the repairs be made according to
the terms of the applicable warranty.
• Understanding that it is our desire to a lways improve on our products, our company
reserves the right to modify its machines, their characteristics, and their parts at any
time without advance notice or obligation.
• In no event w ill Anderson be liable f or any incidental or consequential damages or
injuries, including but not limited to loss of profits, rental of substitute equipment, or
other comm ercial or p ersonal loss or d amages ar ising as a result of a fundamental
breach or breach of a fundamental term.

Warranty Policies, Procedures, & Provisions Summary
Purpose of Warranty:
The fundamental responsibility of warranty is to correct defects in material and workmanship of
the pro ducts s old by Gro up Anders on Inc. (her eafter called ‘’Anderson’’). T his ou tline is
intended to assist you in awareness of Anderson’s Warranty Policies and to assure that you
obtain the best service possible for your Anderson machine.
• Warranty is limited to 1-year (12months). This specified period begins on the date
the new equipment is sold to the customer.
• Warranty is non-transferable in the event of resale unless the resale is through an
authorized Anderson dealer.
Warranty Exemptions:
• Your warranty may be voided if Anderson determines that the equipment has been
subjected to bad treatment or negligence, has been used inappropriately, has not
received necessary maintenance, not been appropriately protected during storage,
damaged by vandalism, bad weather, natural elements, collision, or an accident.
• The warranty is void if your equipment has been modified in any way without
Anderson express authorization.
• The warranty does not cover towing expenses or service calls.
• No warranty is extended to regular service items such as fluids, paint, tires.
• Certain parts, such as the Honda engine and battery are covered under warranties
from their respective manufacturers. Details on these warranties can be obtained
from your dealer.
• Warranty does not cover damage caused by harsh weather conditions or unstable
ground conditions. Such as frozen parts on the equipment or performance issues on
inadequate terrain.
• No warranty is issued for performance issues. Including downtime and capacity
issues.
No Dealer Warranty:
• Except for conditions or warranties which may not be excluded by law, the selling
dealer makes no warranty of its own on any item warranted by Anderson Group
unless it delivers to the purchaser a separate written warranty document specifically
warranting the item. The selling dealer has no authority to make any representation
or promise on behalf of Anderson or to modify the terms or limitations of this
warranty in any way.
Anderson’s Responsibilities:
• In the event that parts must be shipped from Anderson, freight will be paid by
Anderson and will be shipped by the most economical means to arrive in the shortest
possible time. Air, Next Day Air, Priority and other special shipment methods
requested by the Dealer will be at the Customer’s expense.

2 Safety
Your ANDERSON bale wrapper was designed to reduce to a minimum the risks to the operator.
However, it must be used only for the work it was designed for. Additionally, since it includes a
powerful hydraulic system, moving metal parts, and a gas oline engine and al l these elements
can cause se rious injury to hu mans or anima ls, it is strongly recommended to read and to
closely adhere to the following guidelines.
Safe Operators
Be familiar w ith operating proced ures before u sing your AND ERSON bale wrapper. Also insist
that t hese d irections b e fo llowed b y all w ho use your bale wrapper. Make sure that your
operators k now the em ergency telepho ne n umbers and the location o f yo ur first aid ki t. O nly
allow the bale wrapper to be used by responsible people who have been fully trained in its safe
operation.
Danger Zone
Do not allow yourself to be disturbed during the installation or the operation of the machine. As
an operator, you must be the only person to move about the machine within a security zone of
5 metres (16 feet) diameter. Keep all other people, especially children, away from the site, as
well as domestic animals.
Secure Attachment to the Tractor
The machine must be properly attached as high as possible to the fixed drawbar of the tractor,
never to the to mobile hydraulic bars. To increase the s tability of the bale wrapper, choose a
flat and level ground and use the stabilizers (2 left-most levers,), if you have that option.
Dangerous Situations
Pay attention to the stickers and the warning labels that appear on your machine. Know how to
make an emergency stop. Before starting the engine, make sure that all controls are in neutral
position. It is always dangerous to s tand o n t he mac hine. D uring bal e wrappi ng and
transportation, never climb on the machine or let anyone else climb on it. Keep fingers, hands,
and feet away from moving parts: chains, gears, etc.
Prevention
The clothes that you wear as an operator must be safe. Avoid wide sleeves and pants, scarves,
and s hirt or coat sl eeves that could bec ome stuck i n the m oving p arts o f the mach ine.
Additionally, wea r adequat e hearing pro tection to reduc e the danger o f heari ng lo ss due to
continued exposure to the no ise of the bale wrapper. Al so use an appro ved ma sk in dust y
conditions. If you work in the evening or at night, make sure that you have sufficient lighting to
work sa fely. Ha ve a work ing f ire exti nguisher w ithin arm’ s reach. Keep the protective shields
and other security devices in place and never use your bale wrapper if they have been removed
or damaged.
Safe Maintenance and Repair
Stop the eng ine and remove the swi tch key (from the tractor and/or from the hydraulic unit)
before per forming main tenance, adju stments, or repai rs. Rel ease the o il pres sure befo re
moving beneath certain hydraulically lifted parts and be aware o f the blade of the plastic film
cutter. Replace all defe ctive or worn ou t parts. We recomm end you use original or ap proved
parts in order to protect your warranty and to obtain optimal performance from your machine.
Fuel
Gasoline is a very fl ammable substance w hich must be ha ndled wi th c are in an appro ved
container w hen you f ill the engine tank o f y our hydrau lic unit. Put back i n pla ce and firmly

tighten the tank cap and wipe away any spilled fuel. Never add gasoline when the engine is hot
or operating. Have a working fire extinguisher within arm’s reach near the baling site..
Hydraulic Oil
Any leak o f pressurized oil can cause serious injuries. Do no t use your hands to l ocate a leak ,
but rather an o bject such as a piec e of cardboard. Stop the engine and release the pressur e
before disconnecting or r econnecting the lines. Firmly tighten all connections before restarting
the engine or reapplying hydraulic pressure.
WARNING
Any hydraulic fluid that makes contact on or underneath the skin must be
removed within hours by a doctor familiar with this type of injury. Without
intervention, serious problems, including gangrene, may result.
Travelling Safely on Public Roads
If you travel on public roads, you are re sponsible for r especting the identification and lighting
regulations of your region. We recommend that you always attach a secur ity chain to the hitch
point between the machine and your tractor and that you lock the coupling link with a pin.
Also attach the turntable’s (Figure 2.1) L-shaped latch (1). Rotate the table as needed so t hat
the la tch fa ces the no tch (2 ) at the f ront o f th e frame. Remo ve the latch pin. S lide the latch
toward the notch and insert the latch shaft. Place the pin in the hole of the notch.

End of Operation
At the end o f each day’s work and especially if you will not use the bale wrapper again for a
long period of time, do not forget to close the engine fuel valve (1), located beneath the choke
on the right side of the engine (Figure 2.2).

3 General Characteristics and Specifications

machine designed for the separate outdoor storage of different types of large square bales of
up to 7 2 inc hes (2 m) in leng th. T his ag ricultural m achine i s car efully m anufactured b y our
company to give you many years of reliable performance.
Design
All our parts ha ve been des igned wi th the ai d of di gital software and have been c ut by o ur
Laser cutters acc ording to the highest industry standards . With a 13 hp gas oline engine, our
machines hav e an excellen t wra pping capacity . All our ma chines are equi pped wi th a hi gh-
performance geared pl astic film stretcher and 2 aluminium rollers. This un it can stretch a 30-
inch-wide (76 cm) plastic film up to 65%.

Standard Components
Your i ndividual 780SB bal e wrapper i s of the st ationary type, though it c an al so be t owed
because it is equipped with a sturdy axle system. The table is rotated by a hydraulic engine and
gears. The table’s rollers are driven by toothed w heels and chains. The p lastic film s tretcher
with tw o 3 0-inch-long (7 6cm) alum inium rol lers stre tches the f ilm so as to reduce wrapping
costs and operating time. Standard equipment also includes a hydraulic unit with a 13 HP motor
and an electric starter.

4 Adjustment Procedures
Verifications Before Each Use
Check the hydraulic oil level in the tank of your unit. Check the oil level in the Honda engine, if
applicable, as w ell as the need for fu el. Open the fuel valve and check the engine air filter. If
necessary, lubricate the ma chine well after each day of use . Every day, check the clean liness
of the pl astic film s tretcher r ollers. Cl ean th em a s ne cessary with pe netrating o il, ru bbing
alcohol, or paint thinner.
At start-up, your bale wrapper must be placed in the most horizontal position possible. Detach
the turntable’s L-shaped latch (Figure 2.1). If you have the stabilizer option, start the machine
and pull the 2 levers of the control to put them in place If the film roll is in place, check if the
edge of the p lastic is p roperly h eld b y the clam p of the f ilm c utter. I f not , tighten the c lamp
around the plastic film by pulling the lever.
Installing the Plastic Film Roll
When the film roll is empty, remove the spool by pushing it upward to compress the retaining
spring of the upper support (Figure 4.1). Install the new roll in the same manner.

Follow the diagram (Figure 4.2) to unro ll the start of the film between the rubber roller and an
aluminium roller, then around the o ther aluminium roller. Open the fi lm cutter with the lever
and place it at the edge of the film. Close the clamp of the film cutter to hold it in place.

Precaution: Avoid leaving the plastic film rolls in the sun for a long period of time before using
them. Prolonged sun exposure can cause the film to break during wrapping.
Testing the Plastic Film Stretcher
To che ck the effectivene ss o f y our sy stem, draw a 10- inch (25 c m) hori zontal line on your
plastic film roll with a fe lt-tip pen. Turn the table about one revolution and stop. Once the line
has passed t he aluminium rollers, measure i t on the bale. If i t has stretched up to a length o f
approximately 16.5 inches (41 cm), this means that your film stretcher is working properly. If
the film does not stretch properly, check the gea rs of the film stretcher, and if the plastic film
roll and the free roller turn freely, clean the aluminium rollers.
Adjusting the Table’s Tandem Rollers
The 2 pair s of feed rollers make the bale rotate to wrap it completely. The movement of each
pair is limited by a shock absorber attached to the table and connected to a spring. The 2 pairs
of ta ndem rol lers can b e p laced furt her ap art to better fit larg er f ormat sq uare b ales. I n th is
case, m ove the 4 cen tral b earings of th e ro ller pairs towards the exter ior (F igure 4 .3). T he
adjustment c an be made f rom ei ther s ide. If you perf orm t his modification, you mus t als o
reposition the shock absorber mount brackets on the table.

Important: If the hay is very dry, wrap your bales at moderate speed to prevent the bale
from accidentally flying off the machine and hurting the operator or damaging the wrapper.
Adjusting the Two Support Rollers

These two conically shaped support rollers are made of rigid plastic and are placed on each end
of the table between the feed rollers to hold your bale in place. In the factory, they are placed
approximately 6 2 inche s (1 .57 m ) ap art to hold b ales of 6 0 inches (1.2 m ) in l ength, w ith 2
inches of play at each end. Move them together or apart as necessary according to the average
width of yo ur ba les b y remo ving the p ins benea th the tab le and changing their position. The
support rollers can hold bales up to 78 inches (2 m) in length. (Figure 4.4).

Adjusting the Plastic Film Cutter
First c heck the condition o f the stain less s teel blade (1) in the diagram of (Figure 4.5) and
change it as necessary.

Additionally, by pushing the pl astic in the direction of the blade, the fingers normally push the
rubber stopper to the adjustment bolt in the back . Conversely, a spring provides tension from
the stopper toward the fingers in order to hol d onto the end of the pl astic for the next bale.
This bolt and this spring can be adjusted as necessary.

6 Maintenance Procedures
Maintenance
Before performing any maintenance operations on your machine, ensure that you are following
the security precautions laid out in the safe maintenance and repair section: stop the engine (of
the tractor or the unit), turn off the receiver, release hydraulic pressure, etc.
Grease Gun Lubrication
Your ANDERSON bale wrapper must be lubricated with a grease gun in the places indicated by
the sticker (Figure 6.1).
