Notice to Installer for 77 004:
1. Luminaire requires a remote 24V DC Class 2 safety isolation LED driver (by others) suitable
for the intended LED wattage load. See BEGA 19 580 or BEGA 19 591 specication sheet
for information.
2. Installer is responsible for supplying correct wire to account for voltage drop from LED driver.
3. No relamping required.
4. Luminaire is supplied with (1) ft. of cable.
5. Back housing must be installed so that the front face of the back housing is ush with the
nished wall.
6. Luminaire is non-IC rated. Insulation must be at least 3” from luminaire.
7. In conformance with UL Standard 1598, a silicone based sealant MUST be used between
luminaire and supporting wall.
8. Requires a 24V DC class 2 electronic power supply to operate intended LED
BB7004LED (back housing) installation in hollow wall construction:
1. Attach back housing to wooden block via mounting holes with (2) screws (by others).
2. Connect conduit. Pull wires for electrical connections to be made later.
BB7004LED (back housing) installation in poured concrete:
1. Attach back housing to concrete form using (2) screws (by others), such that the front face of
the back housing is ush with the nished surface.
2. Connect conduit to back housing.
3. Pour concrete. NOTE: Do not pump or drop concrete directly on top of the back housing.
4. Remove form and pull wires for electrical connections to be made later.
LED luminaire installation for 77004:
1. Make necessary wiring connections inside the housing
BROWN LEAD TO INCOMING POSITIVE LEAD FROM REMOTE 24V LED DRIVER
BLUE LEAD TO INCOMING NEGATIVE LEAD FROM REMOTE 24V LED DRIVER
2. Place a small bead of silicone around the back side of the luminaire ange that will come in
contact with the nished wall (exterior applications only).
3. Insert LED luminaire into back housing. Make sure mounting tabs are positioned to engage
back housing when turned.
4. Turn the (2) 4mm Torx screws on the faceplate clockwise evenly up to the stop to engage the
back housing and wedge the luminaire into place.
NOTE: FOR INGRADE INSTALLTIONS, WIRING CONNECTIONS MUST BE WATER TIGHT.
