1. Overview
The TouchOne is a High Denion, 7” Touchscreen Keypad for Bosch Soluon 2000 and
3000 control panels that provides a rich user interface and extended funconality to the
end user.
Generaon 2 builds on the powerful foundaon of the TouchOne with an all new Processor,
SmartColor display system, new touch panel and improved mounng design.
2. Wiring
Using the included Wire Harness, wire the TouchOne into the
control panel as per the wiring diagram. It is recommended to
solder the wires to the cable from the control panel.
Noce on Power Consumpon
The TouchOne consumes considerably more power than
a tradional codepad due to its HD screen and internet
connecvity. Only one TouchOne device can be powered
by the control panel to ensure reliable performance. Up to 4 TouchOne devices can
be connected to one system, however 3 of them must be powered by a seperate and
appropriately rated power supply.
Using a 0.5mm cable from the control panel with a run less than 15 meters is recommended
for best performance.

3. Mounng
The TouchOne can be mounted in two orientaons, either
portrait or landscape. The Wall Mount should be screwed onto
the wall rst using the included 6G x 20mm pan head screws in
the intended orientaon. In either orientaon, the circle screw
hole is always on the boom and the oval adjustment screw hole
should be on top. Plug the Wire Harness into the TouchOne.
Aligning the TouchOne to the Wall Mount’s hooks, it should
move closer to the wall when aligned correctly. Slide the TouchOne in the opposite
direcon of the camera unl you feel it clip. Ensure all wires are fed into the wall.
Removing
The TouchOne can be removed by pressing the clip
that is located on the back at the opposite side of the
camera. Using a nger or small screwdriver, push the clip
towards you and slide the TouchOne in the direcon of
the camera.
4. Addressing
The Bosch Soluon 2000 and 3000 control panel requires each codepad on the system to
have a unique address between 1 and 4. When the TouchOne is powered on for the rst
me, it defaults to address 1. This seng is changed in the TouchOne soware interface,
therefore, you must ensure that any other codepad on the system is either not addressed
to address 1 or disconnected unl you have completed the setup wizard and have changed
the TouchOne’s address.
Changing the address
You can change the TouchOne address on the soware interface aer the inital setup
wizard by touching the Sengs buon from the home screen and then the Change Address
buon.
Should the TouchOne detect there is another device on the bus that shares its address
or there are communicaon problems, a screen will automacally appear allowing you to
select another address.

5. Setup Wizard
When the TouchOne is powered on for the rst me, it will display a setup wizard, allowing
you to congure the device.
You can restore the TouchOne to factory defaults and complete the setup wizard again
by touching the Sengs buon from the home screen, then Installer Opons and then the
Restore to factory defaults buon. You will require the control panels installer PIN to access
the Installer Opons menu.
6. Internet Connecvity
During the setup wizard, you will be requested to connect the TouchOne to a local WiFi
network. As the TouchOne is a security device, ensure you only connect it to a WiFi network
that uses at least WPA security. WEP security is not a suitable encrypon method for this
device.
WiFi is required for the TouchOne to receive automac updates and to download and use
Apps like the Intercom App. The date and me must be correct before automac updates
and App funconality is enabled.

7. Troubleshoong
The TouchOne does not turn on. • Ensure the PWR LED on the back of the TouchOne is illuminated, indicang the
device is receiving power from the control panel.
• Ensure the TouchOne is wired correctly and there is a steady 11V to 13V on the
PWR and COM (Red and Black) wires (meter at the TouchOne side of the cable).
• Wire the TouchOne Wire Harness directly to the panel and test.
• Wire the TouchOne to another panel to test.
• Ensure there is not short between the PWR and COM wires.
The TouchOne does not start
completely / restarts oen.
• Remove power to the control panel, remove all other devices and just connect
the TouchOne. You may need to wait up to 5 minutes for the overload protecon
circuit to cool down. Apply power to the panel again.
• If the TouchOne does start correctly when performing this test, then the total
number of devices on the panel exceeds the maximum current draw and you may
need an external power supply.
• Reduce the screen brightness, disable WiFi and use the Sleep standby opon
instead of the photo slideshow.
The TouchOne shows a communicaon
failure message.
• Check the “ALIVE” LED on the back of the device to ensure communicaon is
stable (the LED should be ashing consistently).
• Ensure the wiring is correct.
• If the TouchOne is being powered by a separate power supply, the ground wire of
the power supply should also connect to the ground wire of the bus.
