Thank you for choosing the Coreo - the easily retrofittable code
lock with a clear keypad, an attractive rotary knob and robust
metal housing.
The lock was designed for retrofitting existing systems and
offers a high level of security.
Important: Please note all warnings and read through the
entire operating manual before you begin configuration.

Dimensions
Mode: Fixed Assigned Authorization (Private Mode)
In this mode, a code is pre-set with which the lock can be ope-
rated. This mode is suitable for user groups where user rights do
not have to change permanently, e. g. in an office cabinet.
Mode: Multi User Authorization (Multi User Mode)
This mode is suitable for constantly changing users who only use
the compartment temporarily or once, e. g. in a sport facility.
Codes are valid for a single locking process and are deleted by
the lock when the compartment is reopened so that a new code
can be used. The locking bolt remains open until a new code
locks the lock again. Before locking, the door must be closed
(lightly pressed). The user enters a code of his choice (4 digits)
for locking, confirms the entry by pressing the green hook key
and turns the knob to the closed position. The lock is opened by
entering the same code and confirming it by pressing the green
hook key.
Master Code / Master Key
The Master Code can unlock the lock if the code is lost. If the
lock is not locked by pressing the hook key within 30 seconds
after the Master Code has been unlocked, the stored code is
deleted from the lock. The Master Code is also available as a
USB stick (master key).
Setting Key
The setting key transfers data from the lock to the management
software and vice versa. With the help of the management soft-
ware, parameters such as the last lock actions, the battery level
and the number of lock operations can be read out and the lock
configuration can occur.
Automatic Unlocking (Real-Time-Clock)
The lock opens atuomatically at a specific time. The times can be
set individually per weekday via the management software.
LED Locking Indication
When the LED locking indication is activated, the red LED flashes
when the lock is closed. In the open state, the LED does not
flash (the setting is made via the Managament software).
Signal Tones
The signal tones can be set to high or low volume. Alternatively,
the signal tones can also be switched off (the setting is made via
the management software).
Battery Warning
When the battery level is low, the orange LED flashes. It is re-
commended to change the battery immediately.

Configuration
Before you start the configuration, make sure that the lock is in
the open state.
1Set the Code (Private Mode)
The lock is always delivered in the open state. The first code
entered is the default setting. The code can be changed subse-
quently as follows:
Press hook key for 3 sec. (3 sec.)
Enter code Code + 

2Delete the Code (Private Mode)
Enter Master Code Master Code + 
Lock is open Wait 30 seconds
Note: after 30 seconds the code is deleted. To lock the lock, a
new code must be stored (see point 1). In Multi User Mode, the
code used for locking is deleted immediately after unlocking by
Master Code.
3Set the Master Code
Press hook key for 3 sec. (3 sec.)

4Lock Configuration via Setting Key
For the configuration of the functions, the setting key (USB
stick) and the management software are required.
1. Connect the setting key to the PC via USB port.
2. Open the management software on the PC and set
the functions.
3. Remove the setting key from the PC and connect it
to the lock via USB port.
Note: The data is automatically transferred to the lock.
5Change the Mode
The mode change occurs by entering the mode change code or
optionally by inserting the respective USB stick (one USB stick for
each mode). Both must be requested separately from BURG F.W.
Lüling KG.
Operation
1Operation in Private Mode

Note: During the locking process, the knob must be turned to
the closed position. When opening, the knob automatically
turns to the open position.

3Unlocking via Master Code

Note: After unlocking by Master Code, the code used for lo-
cking is deleted in Multi User Mode. In Private Mode, the code
is only deleted after 30 seconds have elapsed if the lock is not
locked again by pressing the confirmation key within this time.
4Unlocking via Master Key
The master key (USB stick) is required for unlocking.
1. Connect the master key to the lock via USB.
2. Wait until the lock unlocks automatically.
3. Remove the master key from the lock.
4. Press the confirmation key before 30 seconds
have elapsed.
Note: After unlocking by master key, the code used for locking
is deleted in Multi User Mode. In Private Mode, the code is only
deleted after 30 seconds have elapsed if the lock is not locked
again by pressing the confirmation key within this time.

Battery Replacement
1Unscrew both of the battery compartment screws.
2Remove the battery compartment cover and the battery.
3Insert the new battery according to +/- icons.
4Close the battery compartment cover with the screw.
Note: The battery must be changed within 5 minutes.
Electrical and electronic equipment („old devices“) as well as bat-
teries and accumulators may not be disposed of with household
waste. For proper disposal, these devices must be brought to a
designated collection point.
Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries or
rechargeable batteries or devices, which are operated with
batteries or rechargeable batteries separately from the house-
hold waste, as they contain pollutants and valuable resources.
Disposal may take place at an approved collection point. This can
be, for example, a local recycling center. Old electrical appliances,
batteries or rechargeable batteries are accepted there free of
charge and used for environmentally beep and resource-efficient
recycling.
You can also return your old electrical appliances or used batteries
to us. The return must be done in each case sufficiently franked:

On batteries containing harmful substances you will find infor-
mation in the form of abbreviations on the ingredients cadmium
(Cd), mercury (Hg) and lead (Pb). Batteries are marked with the
following symbol, which means that they must not be disposed
of with household waste:

Emergency Power Supply
If the internal batteries do not has sufficient voltage, an external
power supply can be connected via the USB connection.
1. Connect the USB cable to a PowerBank, notebook or
power supply unit.
2. Connect the USB cable to the lock.
The lock is now supplied with power and can be operated as
usual. It is recommended to replace the batteries immediately.
