Preface
Dear Customer,
You have chosen a high-quality machine from the extensive product line offered by Bernhard van Leng-
erich Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG. Thank you for your confidence in us.
To prevent damage to the machine, the machine must be cleaned regularly. These cleaning instructions
are intended to help you with this task.
These cleaning instructions refer to the following areas: engine compartment inside and outside, air filter,
radiator unit, oil cooler, elevator belt and cab air filter.
All locations in these cleaning instructions are in relation to the direction of travel.
Illustrations and photos can show optional equipment.
After each time the machine is used, check whether cleaning is neces-
sary. Make sure that there is no remaining feed, straw, dust, flammable
materials or foreign objects in the engine compartment, on the engine
compartment cover and the engine cover.
The engine reaches temperatures of 500 –600°C during normal opera-
tion and regeneration, so that dirt in the engine compartment, on the
engine compartment cover and engine cover can cause a fire hazard.
