2.4.3 Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system is under high pressure.
Verify that the hydraulic hose lines are connected properly.
Do not block any actuators on the machine which are used to perform direct hydraulic movements
of components, e.g. tipping, swinging and sliding.
The respective movement must stop automatically once you release the corresponding actuator.
This does not apply to the movements of devices:
othat are continuous,
othat are controlled automatically,
othat require a float position or pressurized position for operation.
Before working on the hydraulic system:
oSecure raised moving parts of the machine from being lowered inadvertently.
oDepressurize the hydraulic system.
Have an expert verify the proper technical condition of the hydraulic hose lines at least once per
year.
Replace hydraulic hose lines when detecting obvious defects, damage and wear. Use only original
hydraulic hose lines.
Do not use hydraulic hose lines for more than six years, including any storage time, which must not
exceed a period of two years.
Even if stored properly and only subjected to the permissible stress, hoses and hose connections
are subject to natural aging, limiting their storage time and period of use. The actual period of use
may deviate from these specifications based on experience and, in particular, taking potential haz-
ards into consideration. The same guidelines apply to hoses and hose lines made of thermoplastics.
Never attempt to seal leaking hydraulic hose lines using your hand or fingers.
Fluids (hydraulic oil) escaping under high pressure may penetrate the skin and enter the body, re-
sulting in severe injury.
Seek immediate medical attention if injury from hydraulic oil has occurred. Risk of infection.
2.4.4 Electrical system
Switch off the power supply before performing any work on the electrical system. Turn the main
switch to the “OFF” position and secure it against restart.
Use only the designated fuses. Using higher amperage fuses may destroy the electrical system –
as there is a risk of fire.
Make sure all electrical installations are completed by trained and qualified personnel and as speci-
fied in the circuit diagram.

chine. Set the main switch to the "OFF" position and secure the switch with a padlock.
Always disconnect the electric current supply before carrying out work on the electrical equipment.
Any residual mechanical, hydraulic or electrical energy stored in the equipment may cause the ma-
chine to start moving inadvertently.
oWhen servicing and repairing the machine, be aware of the existence of residual energy.
Secure all operating media such as compressed air and hydraulic oil against unintended start-up.
Carefully attach and secure larger components using lifting devices before replacing them.
Regularly check nuts and bolt for tightness. Re-tighten loosened nuts and bolts.
