TheIRM200isperfectforprofessionalresultswith
meatsandpoultry.
1.Cleanthethermometerstembeforeeachuse.
2.Insertthestematleasthalfwayintothemeat
orpoultry,makingsurethatitisnotinserted
intoafattydepositordressing.Fatanddressing
tendtoinsulatethestemandwillresultina
lowertemperaturereading.Thismayresultin
overcookedfood.
3.Slidethetargetmarkertothedesiredtemperature.
Removefoodfromovenwhenithasreachedthis
temperature.
4.Removethethermometerwithcareandplaceit
whereitwillnotrollontotheooroecauseburns.

designed to withstand the elevated temperatures under a
broiler or in some covered barbeque grills. Do not leave
the IRM200 in the food in these cases.
Tip:Meatshouldbeallowedto“rest”for10to15minutesafter
itisremovedfromoven.Thisallowstimeforthemeat’sinternal
temperaturetostabilizeandthejuicestoredistribute.Thiswill
resultinaroastthatisbothjuicierandeasiertocarve.
