THERMOMETER

INSTRUMENT OPERATION - The instrument is switched on by pressing the on/
off button located on the front of the thermometer. Within one second the
thermometer is ready to work. Apply the tip of the probe to the substance or
medium to be measured. The instrument reading may take a few seconds to
stabilise, depending on the nature of the measurement.
HOLD - Press the HOLD button to capture the temperature reading. The HOLD
icon will flash in the display. Press the HOLD button again to resume taking the
temperature.
MAX/MIN - Press the MAX/MIN button to display the maximum reading and a MAX
symbol will flash in the display. Press the
MAX/MIN button again to display the minimum reading and a MIN symbol will flash
in the display. Press the MAX/MIN button again to return to normal readings. To
clear the MAX/MIN temperature memory, press the ON/OFF button.
°C/°F - Press the °C/°F button to select the desired temperature scale.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT - Replace the batteries immediately the reading becomes
erratic or the display clarity fades, using two AAA or 1.5 volt equivalent. The batteries
are located under the battery cover at the rear of the instrument.
EMC/RFI - Instrument performance may be affected if operated within a high
frequency radio field, such as near a mobile phone, or if subjected to an electrostatic
shock.
GUARANTEE - This instrument carries a one-year guarantee against defects in
either components or workmanship. During this period, products that prove to
be defective will, at the discretion of ETI, be either repaired or replaced without
charge. This guarantee does not apply to sensors/probes, where a six-month period
is offered. The product guarantee does not cover damage caused by fair wear and
tear, abnormal storage conditions, incorrect use, accidental misuse, abuse, neglect,
misapplication or modification. Full details of liability are available within ETI's

FR - FONCTIONNEMENT DE L’INSTRUMENT L’instrument est mis en route en
appuyant sur le bouton on/off situé sur l’avant du thermomètre. Après une seconde,
le thermomètre est opérationnel. Appliquer la pointe de la sonde sur la substance
à mesurer. La lecture peut prendre quelques secondes pour se stabiliser, selon la
nature de l’élément à mesurer.
FONCTION MAINTIEN DE L’AFFICHAGE Appuyer sur le bouton HOLD pour
maintenir l’affichage de la température. L’icône HOLD clignote. Appuyer à
nouveau sur le bouton HOLD pour reprendre la lecture de la température.
FONCTION MEMOIRE MAX/MIN - Appuyer sur le bouton MAX/MIN pour afficher le
résultat maximal et le symbole MAX clignote. Appuyer sur le bouton MAX/MIN pour
afficher le résultat minimal et le symbole MIN clignote. Appuyer à nouveau sur le
bouton MAX/MIN pour revenir aux résultats normaux. Pour effacer la mémoire de
températures MAX/MIN, appuyer simultanément sur les boutons MAX/MIN et ON/
OFF.
°C/°F - Appuyer sur le bouton °C/°F pour choisir l’échelle de température souhaitée.
REMPLACEMENT DE LA BATTERIE Remplacer la batterie dès que les résultats
deviennent irréguliers ou que la précision de l’affichage diminue. Utiliser des piles
AAA ou un équivalent de 1,5 V. La batterie est située sous le couvercle de piles à
l’arrière de l’instrument

DE - GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG FÜR DAS GERÄT - Das Gerät wird durch Drücken des Ein/
Aus-Tasters an der Vorderseite des Thermometers eingeschaltet. Innerhalb einer Sekunde
ist das Thermometer einsatzbereit. Die Sensorspitze an die zu messende Substanz bzw. das
Medium setzen. Der am Gerät angezeigte Messwert stabilisiert sich, je nach Art der Messung,
nach ein paar Sekunden.
FUNKTION 'MESSWERT HALTEN' Drücken Sie die Taste HOLD, um den
Temperaturmesswert einzufrieren. Das Symbol HOLD blinkt in der Anzeige. Drücken Sie die
erneut die Taste HOLD, um die Temperaturmessung fortzusetzen.
FUNKTION 'MAX/MIN-SPEICHER' - Drücken Sie die Taste MAX/MIN, um den Maximalwert
anzuzeigen. Das Symbol MAX blinkt in der Anzeige. Drücken Sie nochmals die Taste MAX/MIN,
um den Minimalwert anzuzeigen. Das Symbol MIN blinkt in der Anzeige. Drücken Sie wieder
die Taste MAX/MIN, um zur normalen Messwertanzeige zurückzukehren. Um den MAX/MIN-
Temperaturspeicher zu löschen, drücken Sie gleichzeitig die Tasten MAX/MIN und ON/OFF.
°C/°F - Drücken Sie die Taste °C/°F, um die gewünschte Temperatureinheit auszuwählen.
BATTERIEWECHSEL - Ersetzen Sie die Batterien sofort, wenn die Messwerte sprunghaft
werden oder der Anzeigekontrast schwach wird. Verwenden Sie zwei AAA-Batterien oder
ein 1,5-Volt-Äquivalent. Die Batterien befinden sich unter dem Batteriefachdeckel an der
Rückseite des Geräts.
IT - FUNZIONAMENTO DEL DISPOSITIVO Il dispositivo si accende premendo il pulsante ON/
OFF situato sulla parte frontale. Il termometro è pronto all'uso dopo un secondo. Posizionare la
testina della sonda sulla sostanza o sul mezzo da misurare. Lo strumento potrebbe impiegare
alcuni secondi per stabilizzare la lettura. Ciò dipende dalla natura della misurazione.
FUNZIONE 'HOLD' - Premere il pulsante HOLD per catturare la lettura della temperatura.
L’icona HOLD lampeggerà sullo schermo. Premere di nuovo il pulsante HOLD per
riprendere la misurazione.
FUNZIONE 'MAX/MIN' - Premere il pulsante MAX/MIN per visualizzare la lettura massima.
Il simbolo MAX lampeggerà sullo schermo. Premere di nuovo il pulsante MAX/MIN per
visualizzare la lettura minima. Il simbolo MIN lampeggerà sullo schermo. Premere ancora
il pulsante MAX/MIN per ripristinare la normale funzione di lettura. Per cancellare i dati che
si riferiscono alla temperatura massima e minima e resettare, così, la memoria, premere
contemporaneamente i pulsanti MAX/MIN e ON/OFF.
°C/°F - Premere il pulsante °C/°F per selezionare la scala di temperatura desiderata.
SOSTITUZIONE DELLE BATTERIE - Sostituire immediatamente le batterie in caso di lettura
errata o diminuzione della nitidezza dello schermo. Utilizzare due batterie AAA o
1,5 volt equivalente. Per accedere alle batterie, aprire il coperchio dell’apposito vano situato
sulla parte posteriore del dispositivo.
PT - FUNCIONAMENTO DO APARELHO - O aparelho liga-se pressionando o botão
on/off situado na parte frontal do termómetro. Num segundo o termómetro está pronto a
funcionar. Colocar a extremidade da sonda na substância ou no meio a analisar. A leitura do
aparelho poderá levar alguns segundos a estabilizar, consoante o tipo de medição.
FUNÇÃO HOLD - Prima o botão HOLD para gravar a leitura da temperatura. O ícone HOLD
fica a piscar no visor. Prima de novo o botão HOLD par retomar a medição da temperatura.
FUNÇÃO MEMÓRIA MAX/MIN - Prima o botão MAX/MIN de forma a visualizar a leitura
máxima; o símbolo MAX fica a piscar no visor. Prima de novo o botão MAX/MIN de forma a
visualizar a leitura mínima; o símbolo MIN fica a piscar no visor. Prima de novo o botão MAX/
MIN de forma a retomar as medições normais. Para limpar a memória das temperaturas
MAX/MIN, prima simultaneamente os botões MAX/MIN e ON/OFF.
FUNÇÃO °C/°F - Prima o botão °C/°F de forma a seleccionar a escala de temperatura desejada.
SUBSTITUIÇÃO DAS PILHAS - Substituir as pilhas no momento em que a leitura começa
a apresentar erros ou quando a luminosidade do visor decrescer, usando duas pilhas de
tipo 1.5 V /AAA ou equivalentes. As pilhas situam-se por baixa da tampa, na parte de trás
do aparelho.

ES - OPERACIÓN DE INSTRUMENTO - El instrumento es encendido apretando el
con./desc. botón localizado en el frente del termómetro. Dentro de un segundo el
termómetro está listo a trabajar. Aplique la punta de la sonda a la sustancia o medio
para ser medido. La lectura de instrumento puede tomar unos segundos para
estabilizarse, según la naturaleza de la medida.
MUESTRE RASGO DE ASIMIENTO - Presione el botón de ASIMIENTO para capturar
la lectura de temperaturas. El icono de ASIMIENTO destellará en la demostración.
Presione el botón de ASIMIENTO otra vez para reanudar la toma de la temperatura.
FUNCIÓN DE MEMORIA DE MÁXIMO/MINUTO - Presione el botón de
MÁXIMO/MINUTO para mostrar la lectura máxima y un símbolo de MÁXIMO
destellará en la demostración. Presione el botón de MÁXIMO/MINUTO otra
vez para mostrar la lectura mínima y un símbolo de MINUTO destellará en la
demostración. Presione el botón de MÁXIMO/MINUTO otra vez para volver a
lecturas normales. Para limpiar la memoria de temperatura de
MÁXIMO/MINUTO, presione el
MÁXIMO/MINUTO Y CON./DESC.
°C/°F - Presione el °C/° F botón para seleccionar la escala de temperaturas deseada.
REEMPLAZO DE BATERÍA - Sustituya las baterías inmediatamente 'el Murciélago'
ilumina o si la lectura se hace errática o la claridad de demostración se descolora,
usando dos AAA o equivalente de 1.5 voltios. Las baterías son localizadas bajo la tapa
de batería en el reverso del instrumento.
