Removal of the lifting module
The lifting and lowering seals (or unseals) the Sicpa printhead and is powered.
1. The manual procedure of mooving the the print unit is changed.
2. lift the printing unit manually (Insert the stylus through the sump door & turn ¼
turn to the right)
3. after that move the printing unit with the stylus (the same as with PostBase)
(see. "Service case: remove cartridge manually")
general procedure for removing the lifting module:
1. Remove the print carriage first
2. unolug the plug of the lifting module on the mainboard
3. Disassembly of the lifting module from the bottom
general procedure for inserting the lifting module:
-first insert the lifting module on the letterfeed side and minimize the play in the direction
of the letter path
-clip in from top with 2 fingers under light pressure
Step by step:
Preparatory work: Remove the print carriage
- Remove upper cover:
new: unclip from the back
new: lifting upwards at the back
