Sehr geehrter Kunde,
vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für eines unserer Qualitätsproduk-
te entschieden haben. Im Folgenden werden wir Ihnen die
Funktionen und die Handhabung unseres Gerätes erklären.
Bitte nehmen Sie sich die Zeit, lesen die Gebrauchsanweisung
in Ruhe durch und benutzen Sie das Gerät in der beschriebe-
nen Form. Beachten Sie alle enthalten Sicherheits- und Be-
dienungshinweise. Bewahren Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung
auf und geben Sie diese bei Weitergabe des Gerätes mit.
Sollten Sie Fragen oder Anregungen zu diesem Gerät haben,
wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler oder an unser
Service-Team. Wir freuen uns, wenn Sie uns weiter empfeh-

1. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieses Gerät ist zum Fangen und Vernichten von Obstfliegen
konzipiert. Die Fluginsekten werden durch das integrierte
LED UV-Licht angelockt und durch das unter Hochspannung
stehende Gitter vernichtet. Eine andere Verwendung als die
angegebene ist nicht zulässig! Bei Schäden, die durch un-
sachgemäßer Verwendung und/oder Nichtbeachtung der
Bedienungsanleitung und/oder durch nicht erlaubten Um-
bau entstehen, wird keine Haftung für einen entstandenen
Schaden oder Folgeschäden übernommen und es erlischt der
Garantieanspruch.
2. Sicherheitshinweise
• Elektrogeräte, Verpackungsmaterial usw. gehören nicht in
den Aktionsbereich von Kindern. Kinder sollen nicht mit
dem Gerät spielen.
• Gerät nur mit der dafür vorgesehenen Spannung betreiben:
220 – 240 V; 50 Hz/60 Hz
• In jedem Fall ist zu prüfen, ob das Gerät für den jeweiligen
Einsatzort geeignet ist.
• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und Personen
mit eingeschränkten körperlichen, sensorischen oder geis-
tigen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung oder Wissen
verwendet werden, wenn sie von einer qualifizierten Per-
son, die für die Sicherheit verantwortlich ist, beaufsichtigt
wird oder von ihr bezüglich des sicheren Umgangs des Ge-
räts unterwiesen wurde und sie die daraus resultierenden
Gefahren verstanden hat.
• Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung auf und geben Sie diese bei
Weitergabe des Gerätes mit.
• Das Gerät muss gegen Feuchtigkeit, Nässe, extremer Käl-
te und Hitzeeinwirkung geschützt werden. Achten Sie auf
ausreichende Belüftung. Es darf nur in Innenräumen ver-
wendet werden.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in einer Umgebung in der
brennbare Gase, Dämpfe oder Staub vorhanden sind.
• Bitte entfernen Sie keine Aufkleber vom Produkt, welche
sicherheitsrelevante Hinweise enthalten.
• Sollte das Gerät Beschädigungen aufweisen, benutzen Sie
das Gerät nicht. Trennen Sie es vom Netz indem Sie den
Stecker aus der Strom-Steckdose ziehen. Bringen Sie das
Gerät in eine Fachwerkstatt zur Reparatur.
Achtung! Nicht zur Verwendung in Scheunen, Stäl-
len und an ähnlichen Orten (Brandgefahr)!
Warnung! Hochspannung! Das Gerät erzeugt im
Betriebszustand „Hochspannung“. Hängen Sie das
Gerät an dem am Gerät befindlichen Ring so auf,
dass es sich außerhalb des Handbereiches befin-
det. Verwenden Sie das Gerät bzw. stellen oder
hängen Sie das Gerät niemals im Handbereich auf!
Achtung! Bitte beachten Sie länderspezifische
Anwendungen von Insektenvernichtern. Aus Um-
weltschutzgründen ist in Deutschland der Betrieb
im Freien untersagt, da Nutzinsekten getötet wer-
den könnten!

4. Inbetriebnahme
Stecken Sie das Gerät in eine Steckdose, die sich an einem
möglichst dunklen Ort im Raum befindet. Diese Steckdose
sollte jedoch nicht so versteckt hinter einem Schrank liegen,
dass das Licht im Raum nicht zu sehen ist. Das Leuchtmittel
kann nicht getauscht werden.
5. Reinigung
Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus der Steckdose und klopfen Sie
dieses vorsichtig auf eine Papierunterlage aus. Zur Reinigung
des Außengehäuses können Sie ein feuchtes Tuch verwen-
den. Erst nach dem Trocknen wieder an der Steckdose an-
schließen.

7. Hinweise zur Wirkungsweise
Der Gardigo Obstfliegenvernichter verhindert nicht den Auf-
enthalt von Obstfliegen. Das integrierte UV-Licht zieht Obst-
fliegen an, es kann jedoch nicht verhindern, dass sich bei
starkem Geruch Obstfliegen an Ihrem Obst aufhalten. Es wird
empfohlen vor dem Einsatz den Biomüll und überreifes Obst
zu entsorgen.
Hinweis: Die Reaktion der jeweiligen Tiere auf unsere Geräte
kann variieren. Die Entwicklung unserer Geräte, Methoden und
Anwendungs-Tipps basieren auf Erfahrungen, Tests und dem
Feedback unserer Kunden. Deshalb ist die Tiervertreibung in
den meisten Fällen erfolgreich. Die Funktion des Anlockens
ist nur bei Fluginsekten gegeben, die auf Licht reagieren.
8. Weitere Hinweise zum Umgang
• Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssig-
keiten.
• Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht gewaltsam.
• Säubern Sie das Gerät bei Verschmutzung mit einem
feuchten Tuch.
• Entsorgen Sie Verpackungsmaterial umweltgerecht.
• Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung auf und geben Sie
diese bei Weitergabe des Produktes mit.
9. Allgemeine Hinweise
• Die CE-Konformität wurde nachgewiesen. Die entspre-
chenden Erklärungen sind bei uns hinterlegt und können
eingesehen werden.
• Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen, ist es nicht er-
laubt, dieses Gerät umzubauen und/oder zu verändern
oder einer nicht-sachgemäßen Verwendung zuzuführen.
• Es ist zu beachten, dass Bedien- oder Anschlussfehler oder
Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung der Bedienungsanlei-
tung entstehen, außerhalb des Einflussbereichs der Gar-
digo liegen und für daraus resultierende Schäden keinerlei
Haftung übernommen werden kann. Dies gilt auch dann,
wenn Veränderungen oder Reparaturversuche an dem Ge-

sekten, ist die Benutzung des Gerätes ausschließlich in Innen-
räumen erlaubt. Die Verwendung im Freien verstößt gegen das
Naturschutzgesetz. Kleinstinsekten wie Stechmücken werden
schnell und schmerzlos getötet, bei den im freien lebenden
Schmetterlingen und anderen harmlosen Zweiflüglern hingegen
kommt es zum Abbrennen der Fühler, was einen langen Todes-
kampf zur Folge haben kann. Wir bitten dies zu beachten und
die Natur zu schützen.

thank you for choosing one of our quality products. In the
following, we will explain the functions and operation of our
product. Please take the time to read through the instruc-
tions carefully. Please note all the included safety and opera-
ting instructions. Keep this manual safe and ensure that you
include it when passing the product on to a third party. If you
have any questions or suggestions about this product, please
contact your supplier or our service team.
We would appreciate it if you would recommend us to others,
and we hope you enjoy using this unit.
1. Product description
The Fruit Fly Control is designed to attract and kill fruit
flies. The insects are attracted by the UV-light and then
electrocuted by the high voltage grid. Any other use as the
mentioned is not permitted! No liabilities will be taken for
damages or consequential damages or claims resulting out
of not reading and/or not following the user guide and/or
any form of modification on or in the product. Under these
circumstances, no warranty services will be granted.
2. Safety instructions
• Electrical appliances, packaging materials, etc. do not be-
long in the hands of children. Children may not play with
the device.
• The device may only be used with the stated voltage:
220 – 240 V; 50 Hz/60 Hz
• It must be determined if the device is suitable for the res-
pective use.
• The device may only be used by children over eight years
and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities, or the lack of knowledge or experience, if they
are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of
the device by a person responsible for their safety and have
understood the dangers resulting out of the use.
• Keep this manual in a safe place.
• The device must be protected from dampness, extreme
cold and heat. Make sure that the device has sufficient
ventilation. It may only be used indoors.
• Do not use this device in the vicinity of explosive gases,
vapors or excessive dust.
• Do not remove any stickers from this device. The sticker
may contain important safety information.
• Do not use the device if the device or the power cord is da-
maged. Disconnect the device immediately from the mains
by pulling the plug from the socket. In order to avoid a ha-
zard or electrocution, the device should be repaired by our
service centre or a similarly qualified person.
Attention! Use of the insect exterminator is only
allowed in interior rooms. Using this device out-
doors violates the Federal Species Protection Act!
Attention! Not suitable for use in barn, stables
and similar locations (Fire danger)!
Warning! High voltage! The device generates “high
voltage” when it is in use. Hang the device by the
preinstalled mounting ring so that the device is out
of reach. Never use the device, set it up or hang it
up so that it is within reach!
Attention! Please observe the country-specific
rules on the use of insect killers. Operation out of
doors is prohibited in Germany for environmental
protection reasons since useful insects could be
killed!

4. Operation
Annoying, stinging insects (mainly mosquitos) and small flies
are attracted by blue light. On their way to the light source
the insects will be exterminated quickly and hygienically by
touching the electrodes, which are under high voltage. This
high voltage is completely harmless for humans.
Note: the response of each animal to our insect killer may vary.
The development of our devices, methods and application tips
are based on experience, testing and feedback from our custo-
mers. Therefore the devices are successful in most cases. The
function of attracting flying insects is only given to insects
that react to light.
5. Cleaning
1. To clean the appliance, first remove it from the mains
socket.
2. Carefully tap out the dead insects onto a sheet of paper.
Remove any remaining insects with the aid of the brush.
3. Please use a moist cloth only to clean the outside.
Important: The appliance must not be immersed in water.
6. Putting into operation
1. Do not plug the device into a socket that is near another
light source. The light ensures that the flying insects will
be attracted. The darkest place in the room to be protected
is usually the most advantageous.
2. Do not plug in the device near an open window or an open
door, since insects do not usually linger in areas sensitive
to draught.
Please note: After the illuminant is extinguished it cannot
be replaced.

8. General information

• As Gardigo has no control of the correct and appropriate
installation and use of the device, the warranty can only
be applied to a fully equipped device in prime condition.
We assume neither warranty nor liability for damages or
following damages related to this product. This applies es-
pecially if modifications or repairs have been made by the
customer, if the circuitry has been modified or components
have been used, other than the original components and/
or if the operation of the device has been incorrect, carel-
ess or abusive.

4. Efficacité
Les insectes qui agacent et qui piquent (en particulier les
moustiques) ainsi que les moucherons sont attirés par la
lumière bleue. Ils se dirigent donc vers la source lumineuse

et sont tués par le contact avec les électrodes qui sont sous
haute tension sans être dangereuses pour l’homme.
Remarque : chaque animal peut réagir diéremment à nos
dispositifs. Le développement de nos dispositifs, les métho-
des utilisées ainsi que les conseils d’utilisation se basent sur
l’expérience, les tests et le feed-back de nos clients. C’est
pourquoi nos dispositifs repoussent ecacement les ani-
maux dans la plupart des cas. Ce dispositif n’attire que les
insectes volants qui réagissent à la lumière.
5. Nettoyage
1. Pour procéder au nettoyage de cet appareil, veuillez
d’abord le débrancher de la prise de courant.
2. Tapotez doucement le petit appareil au-dessus d’une
feuille de papier et ôtez les restes éventuels à l’aide d’une
petite brosse.
3. Pour le nettoyage externe de l’appareil, utiliser seulement
un tissu humide.
Remarque : Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau.

7. Mise en service
1. Ne branchez pas l’appareil dans une prise qui se trouve à
proximité d’une autre source de lumière. Comme c’est la
lumière qui attire les insectes volants, le plus efficace est
de placer l’appareil dans le coin le plus sombre de la pièce à
protéger.
2. Ne pas brancher l’appareil à proximité d’une fenêtre ouver-
te ou d’une porte ouverte, car les insectes ne restent pas
dans les zones à courant d’air.
Remarque : Une fois le produit lumineux entièrement con-
sommé, il n’est pas possible de recharger l’appareil.
8. De plus amples détails sur la manipulation
• Ne pas plonger l’appareil dans l’eau ou d’autres liquides.
• Ne pas ouvrir l’appareil en utilisant la force.
• Nettoyez l’appareil quand il est sale avec un chiffon hu-
mide.
• Jeter l’emballage des matériaux respectant
l’environnement.
• La remise d’un produit à un tiers doit être accompagnée
de sa notice d’utilisation.
9. Instructions générales
• Le dispositif est conforme aux réglementations CE, les dé-
clarations ont été déposées auprès de notre entreprise et
peuvent être consultées.
• Pour des raisons de sécurité et d’autorisation, il est interdit
de convertir cet appareil et / ou de le modifier ou de l’utiliser
à des fins autres que celles prévues.
• Nous déclinons toute responsabilité pour les erreurs
d’utilisation ou de branchement ou les dommages causé
par le non-respect des instructions en dehors du contrô-
le de Gardigo. Cela vaut aussi si des modifications ou des
tentatives de réparation ont été apportées à l‘appareil, si
les circuits ont été modifiés ou si d‘autres composants ont
été utilisés ou si toute autre erreur d’utilisation ou une utili-
sation négligente ou abusive ont conduit à des dommages.

1. Descripción del producto
Este dispositivo está diseñado para moscas fruta. Los insec-
tos voladores son atraídos por la luz UV integrada y destrui-
dos por la rejilla alta tensión. ¡Se prohíbe usarlo para fines no
previstos! En caso de daños provocados por un uso inadecu-
ado del dispositivo y/o por no seguir las instrucciones y/o por
llevar a cabo modificaciones no permitidas, no nos hacemos
responsables de los defectos o daños consecuenciales que
puedan surgir y se anula su derecho de garantía.
2. Indicaciones de seguridad
• El dispositivo y sus accesorios, el embalaje etc. deben ser
mantenidos lejos del alcance de niños. Los niños no de-
berían jugar con el dispositivo.
• Utilice el aparato únicamente con una tensión adecuada:

• En cualquier caso, hay que comprobar si el aparato es ade-

5. Limpieza
1. Para limpiar el aparato, primero desenchúfelo.
2. Déle golpecitos con cuidado al pequeño exterminador de
insectos para vaciarlo sobre una hoja de papel, y retire los
restos que pudieran quedar por medio de un cepillo.
3. Para la limpieza exterior, utilice un paño húmedo.
Nota: El aparato no puede ser sumergido en agua.
6. Puesta en funcionamiento
1. Enchufe el aparato en una toma de corriente que se en-
cuentre cerca de otras fuentes luminosas. La luz hace que
los insectos voladores sean atraídos. En general, el lugar
más oscuro de la habitación a proteger es el más favorable.
2. No conecte el aparato cerca de una ventana o puerta abier-
ta, ya que los insectos evitan las corrientes de aire.
Nota: Una vez expirada la lámpara, ésta no puede ser sus-
tituida.

• No sumerja el aparato en agua u otros líquidos.

1. Descrizione del prodotto
Questo dispositivo è progettato per catturare e uccidere le
zanzare e le mosche. Gli insetti volanti sono attratti dalla
luce UV integrata e distrutti dalla griglia alta tensione. Qual-

5. Pulizia
1. Per la pulizia dell’apparecchio, disinserirlo prima dalla presa
di corrente.
2. Battere delicatamente il piccolo ammazza insetti su un
foglio di carta e rimuovere eventuali resti con l’ausilio dello
spazzolino.
3. Per la pulizia esterna utilizzare solo un panno umido.
Importante: Il dispositivo non deve essere immerso in acqua.
6. Messa in servizio
1. Non inserire il dispositivo in prese che si trovano nelle vi-
cinanze di altre sorgenti luminose. La luce provvede ad
attirare gli insetti volanti. Solitamente risulta essere molto
adatto il punto più buio del locale da proteggere.
2. Non inserire il dispositivo nelle vicinanze di una finestra o
porta aperta, poiché gli insetti non restano nella zona di
corrente d’aria.
Avvertenza: Una volta effettuata l’accensione, la lampada
non può essere sostituita.
Avviso: la reazione dei diversi animali al nostro dispositivo è
varibile. Lo sviluppo dei nostri apparecchi, metodi e consigli
di utilizzo si basa sull‘esperienza, su test e sul riscontro dei
nostri clienti. Per questi motivi la difesa contro gli animali è
nella maggior parte dei casi eciente.
7. Ulteriori dettagli sulla gestione

1. Všeobecně
Když přijde léto a slunce svítí, tak chutná ovoce nejlépe. Je
zralé a sladké a nejraději by člověk měl všech druhů ovoce
doma dostatek. Bohužel má toto pohodlí velkou nevýhodu.
Octomilky v tomto období milují ovoce stejnak jako Vy a bu-
dou se ve velkém vrhat na Vaše zásoby. Aby jste tomu zab-
ránili a zachovali hygienu, můžete používat ničitele octomi-
lek od firmy Gardigo. Ultrafialové světlo přitahuje octomilky
a hmyz je rychle a bezbolestně zabitý na integrované mříži
vysokého napětí.
2. Bezpečnostní pokyny
Důležité: Na škody vzniklé z důvodu nedodržení pokynů
v návodu se nevztahuje záruka. Gardigo nenese žádnou
odpovědnost za jakékoliv škody způsobené nesprávným
používání výrobku a jeho příslušenství.
• Výrobek by měl být používán i uchováván mimo dosah dětí.
• Výrobek používejte pouze s nepoškozeným síťovým kabe-
lem.
• Zavěste přístroj do takové výšky, kde na něj nedosáhnou
děti.
• Při opravě či úpravách výrobku používejte pouze originální
náhradní díly, aby nedošlo k vážnému poškození přístroje.
• Opravy či jiné úpravy výrobku mohou být prováděny pouze
odborným servisem nebo podobně kvalifikovanou osobou.
• Výrobek nikdy netahejte a ani nezavěšujte za síťový kabel.
• Síťový kabel nepokládejte v blízkosti horkých ploch nebo
přes ostré předměty.

4. Upozornění k používání
Ničitel octomilek od Gardigo nezabraňuje přítomnosti octo-
milek. Integrovanéultrafialové světlo přitahuje octomilky, ale
nemůže zabránit tomu, že jsou silnou vůni ovoce přitahovány.
Před použitím doporučujeme odstranit bioodpad a přezrálé
ovoce. Strčte přístroj do zásuvky, na spíše tmavém místě v
místnosti.

5. Čištění
Vyjměte přístroj ze zásuvky a vyklepejte ho opatrně na
papírové podložce. K vyčištění vnějšího krytu můžete použít
vlhký hadr.
6. Uvedení do provozu
Strčte přístroj do zásuvky, která se nachází na relativně tma-
vém místě v místnosti. Tato zásuvka by ale neměla být scho-
vaná za skříní. V tomto případě by totiž nebylo vidět světlo.
Světlo není možné vyměnit.
7. Další podrobnosti o zacházení
• Neponořujte přístroj do vody nebo jiných kapalin.
• Neotvírejte jednotku s použitím síly.
• Čištění přístroje když špinavou vlhkým hadříkem.
• Zlikvidujte obal ekologicky šetrným způsobem.
• Udržujte návod k obsluze a předat je při průchodu výrobek s.

1. Algemeen
Dit apparaat is ontworpen om fruitvliegen te vangen en te
doden. De vliegende insecten worden aangetrokken door
het UV-licht en worden onder hoge spanning door het net
vernietigd. Een ander dan het aangegeven gebruik is niet
toegestaan! Bij schade die ontstaat door onjuist gebruik en/
of niet-naleving van de gebruiksaanwijzing en/of door niet-
toegestane ombouw, wordt geen aansprakelijkheid voor een
ontstane schade of gevolgschade voldaan en de garantie
vervalt.
2. Veiligheidsinstructies
• Elektroapparaten, verpakkingsmateriaal horen niet in het
actiebereik van kindern. Kinderen mogen niet met het ap-
paraat spelen.
• Apparaat alleen met de daarvoor bestemde spanning be-
dienen: 220 – 240 V; 50 Hz/60 Hz
• In ieder geval dient te worden gecontroleerd, of het ap-
paraat geschikt is voor de toepassingslocatie.
• Dit apparaat kan worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8

grijke veiligheidsinstructies bevatten.
• Indien het apparaat beschadigd is, gebruik het apparaat
niet. Koppel het los van het stroomnet doordat u de stek-
ker uit het stopcontact trekt. Breng het apparaat naar een
vakwerkplaats voor reparatie.
Attentie! Het apparaat is niet geschikt voor gebru-
ik in stallen, schuren en dergelijke (Brandgevaar)!
Waarschuwing! Als het apparaat is ingeschakeld,
ontwikkelt het ‘hoogspanning’. Hang het apparaat
buiten handbereik op aan de ring. Gebruik c.q.
hang het apparaat nooit binnen handbereik!
Attentie! Let op landspecifieke regels voor insec-
tenvernietigers. Om milieuredenen is het gebruik
in de vrije natuur verboden in Duitsland, omdat
nuttige insecten kunnen worden gedood!

4. Opmerkingen over de werking
De Gardigo fruitvliegen- vernietiger voorkomt het verblijf van
fruitvliegen niet. Het geïntegreerde UV-licht trekt fruitvliegen
aan, maar het kan niet voorkomen dat fruitvliegjes bij sterke
geuren bij je fruit blijven. Het wordt daarom aanbevolen om
voor gebruik organisch afval en overrijp fruit weg te gooien.
Sluit het apparaat aan in een stopcontact op de donkerste
plek in de kamer.

Opmerking: de reactie van elk dier op onze apparaten kan
verschillen. De ontwikkeling van onze apparaten, methoden
en applicatietips is gebaseerd op ervaring, testen en feed-

gevallen succesvol. De functie van aantrekken wordt alleen
gegeven aan vliegende insecten die op licht reageren.
5. Schoon
Verwijder het apparaat uit het stopcontact en tik het voor-
zichtig op een stuk papier. Gebruik een vochtig doekje om de
buitenste behuizing te reinigen. Pas na het drogen weer in de
stopcontact plaatsen.
6. Ingebruikneming
Sluit het apparaat aan in een stopcontact dat zich op de
donkerste plek in de kamer bevindt. Deze aansluiting moet
echter niet zo achter een kast verstopt zijn dat het licht in de
kamer niet zichtbaar is. De lamp kan niet worden vervangen.
7. Opmerkingen over het gebruik
• Dompel het apparaat niet onder in water of andere vloei-
stoffen.
• Open het apparaat niet met geweld.
• Reinig het apparaat met een vochtige doek als het vuil is.
• Voer verpakkingsmateriaal op een milieuvriendelijke ma-
nier af.
• Bewaar deze handleiding en geef deze bij doorgave van het
apparaat mee.
