cial environments. The DPT-2W series dierenal pressure trans-
mierprovidesa4–20mAloopoutput.
All DPT-2W series dierenal pressure transmiers are available
withdisplayand/orowlinearoutput.

Thesellerisobligatedtoprovideawarrantyofveyearsforthedeliv-
eredgoodsregardingmaterialandmanufacturing.Thewarrantyperiod
isconsideredtostartonthedeliverydateoftheproduct.Ifadefectin
rawmaterialsoraproduconawisfound,thesellerisobligated,when
theproductissenttothesellerwithoutdelayorbeforeexpiraonof
thewarranty,toamendthemistakeathis/herdiscreoneitherbyre-
pairingthedefecveproductorbydeliveringfreeofchargetothebuy-
eranewawlessproductandsendingittothebuyer.Deliverycosts
fortherepairunderwarrantywillbepaidbythebuyerandthereturn
costsbytheseller.Thewarrantydoesnotcomprisedamagescausedby
accident, lightning, ood or other natural phenomenon, normal wear
andtear,improperorcarelesshandling,abnormaluse,overloading,im-
properstorage,incorrectcareorreconstrucon,orchangesandinstal-
laonworknotdonebythesellerorhis/herauthorizedrepresentave.
Theseleconofmaterialsfordevicespronetocorrosionisthebuyer’s
responsibility,unlessotherwiseislegallyagreedupon.Shouldtheman-
ufactureralterthestructureofthedevice,thesellerisnotobligatedto
makecomparablechangestodevicesalreadypurchased.Appealingfor
warrantyrequiresthatthe buyerhascorrectlyfullledhis/herdues
arisenfromthedeliveryandstatedinthecontract.Thesellerwillgive
anewwarrantyforgoodsthathavebeenreplacedorrepairedwithin
thewarranty,howeveronlytotheexpiraonoftheoriginalproduct’s
warrantyme.Thewarrantyincludestherepairofadefecvepartor
device, orifneeded,a new part or device, but not installaon or ex-
change costs. Underno circumstanceisthe seller liable fordamages
compensaonforindirectdamage.
Thezeropointshouldbeadjustedviamanualzeroing,onehouraer
installaonandatleastevery12monthsduringnormaloperaons.
Manualzeroing:
1)Note:supplyvoltagemustbeconnectedatleastonehourpriorto
zeropointadjustment.
2)Disconnectbothpressuretubesfromthepressureportslabeled+
and-.
3)Pushthezerobuonatleast4secondsunltheLEDlight(red)
showsonelongblink.(seeFigure4)
4)Thezeroingofthedevicewillproceedautomacally.Zeroingis
completewhentheLEDturnso.
5)Reinstallthepressuretubes,ensuringthehighpressuretubeis
connectedtotheportlabeled+,andthelowpressuretubeis
connectedtotheportlabled-.
STEP 6: ZEROING THE DEVICE
A. For R8 model:
Theresponsemeaectshowfastthetransmierreactstochangesin
thesystem.Theresponsemeisthemethedevicetakestoreach63
%ofthemeasuredvalue.Tosmoothoutunstablepressureuctuaons
inairowapplicaons,selectalongerresponseme.
Example:
Selectedresponseme:8.0seconds
Result: Output signal achieves a new value in 20 seconds (Response
me*5)
Usethezerobuontochangeresponseme:
1)Pushdownandreleasethebuonquickly.LEDemits2blinks.
Deviceissetwith8.0secondresponseme.
2)Pushdownandreleasethebuonquicklyagain.LEDemits3short
blinks.Deviceissetwith0.8secondresponseme.
B. For R2 and R4 models
UsethejumperJ1toselecttheresponseme.InstalljumpertoJ1to
set0.8sresponseme.RemovethejumperJ1toset4sresponseme.

WARRANTY POLICY
a) Disconnect both pressure tubes from the pressure ports labeled
+ and –.
b) Push down the zero button (joystick) until the LED light (red)
turns on and the display reads “zeroing” (display option only). (see
Figure 6)
c) The zeroing of the device will proceed automatically. Zeroing is
complete when the LED turns off, and the display reads 0 (display
option only).
d) Reinstall the pressure tubes, ensuring the High pressure tube is
connected to the port labeled +, and the Low pressure tube is
connected to the port labeled −.
