INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE INSTALLING
• There are parts sold by Audio Control required to
complete this install.
STEP 1
• Remove the factory amplifier (refer to wiring diagram for
amplifier location).
• Configure the 2 pin connectors on the aFO3 T-harness as
shown on the wiring diagram.
STEP 2
• Connect the factory amplifier harnesses to the aFO3
T-harness.
STEP 3
• Connect the wires from the aFO3 T-harness to the
aftermarket amplifier.
Note 1:
If you are running your own speaker wires from the
amplifier to the speakers, this step is not necessary.
• Plug the input adapter into the aFO3 T-Harness. This
adapter is supplied by Audio Control.
• Connect the adapter’s output RCAs to the inputs of the
device (Ex: Output 1 goes to Input 1, Output 2 goes to input
2, etc.).
• Connect the Blue/White REMOTE IN wire from the adapter
to the remote input of the Audio Control amplifier or DSP
device.
• Plug the Data cable to the DM Link adapter from Audio
Control then plug that into the amplifier.
• If usign Audio Control DSP device (DM-608, DM-810),
connect the Black (ground) and the Yellow (12V power)
wires. If using an amplifier, isolate the wires, do not
connect them.
• Connect the Blue/White wire to a secondary amplifier (if
applicable).
STEP 4
• Connect all the harnesses to the Maestro AR module.
Note 2:
The aftermarket amplifier will not turn OFF with the key, it
will shut down when the vehicle goes to sleep.
