2. Installing the suction device
Turn OFF the power supply and air supply for the sewing machine.
2-1. Installing the blower

1) Combine screw asm. ❷as shown in
the gure on the left, and secure cast-
ers $6$ to tray ❶.

2) Combine screw asm. ❹ as shown in 1),
and secure blower ❸to tray ❶.

3) Install silencer ❺ to blower ❸.

2-2. Installing the lter box
3) Attach the cover to the box and secure with draw
latches (2 pieces).
1) Release draw latches (2 pieces) on the side face
of lter box ❼to remove the cover.
2) Attach screw asm. ❽ to the ceiling of lter box ❼.
Put the T-screw of screw asm. ❽in the alumi-
num frame. Adjust the lateral position of the lter
box (30 ± 10 mm). Then, tighten the nut of screw
asm. ❽.

Secure the T-screw in the correct di-
rection as shown in the gure on the
left.

4) Put one end of pipe ❾(0.4 m) over the cylindri-
cal part of suction cover 󱢴and the other end
over the upper cylindrical part of lter box ❼until
they will go further and secure both ends of the
pipe with pipe bands 󱢳.

5) Put one end of pipe ❾(2.1 m) over the cylin-
drical part of blower ❸and the other end over
lower cylindrical part of lter box ❼until they will
go no further and secure both ends of the pipe
with pipe bands 󱢳.

6) Remove setscrews (12 pieces). Replace the at
metal plate with the mesh plate.

There are nuts on the reverse side of
the table. Take care not to allow the
nuts to come o󰀨 when you loosen the
screws.

7) Replace the setscrews of the mesh plate with
screws 󱢵. Secure suction cover 󱢴with screws
󱢵and the nuts.

2-3. Installing the solenoid valve
󱢷󱢷
1) Remove one metal plate from the manifold. Se-
cure solenoid valve 󱢷. (Provided with a rubber
sheet)
There is a rubber sheet between the
metal plate and the manifold.
2) Route the cable of solenoid valve 󱢷up to the
electrical control box shelf as shown in the gure.
3) Pass the cable of solenoid valve 󱢷through the
duct and insert its wires into connectors No. 1
(red) and No. 3 (black) as shown in the gure.
