Wichtige inweise zum Produkt
Zur Verhinderung von unkontrolliertem
W sserverlust (bei Strom usf ll ist d s Ventil
geöffnet) sollte d s Vollstrom-Absperrventil
nicht ls endständiges Spülventil eingesetzt
werden. Für diesen F ll wird ein
Federrückzugventil Fig. 686 01 / Fig. 686 05
(stromlos geschlossen) empfohlen.
Wartung
N ch DIN EN 806 Teil 5 ist eine jährliche Ins-
pektion durch den Betreiber durchzuführen.

4 Anschluss als 2-Punkt-Steuerung

Die AUF/ZU-Ansteuerung erfolgt über 2
Adern. Der Antrieb wird über die bl ue und
br une Ader n Sp nnung gelegt (Ventil ZU).
Durch d s Anlegen der Sp nnung n die
schw rze Ader öffnet d s Ventil und fährt in
die Endstellung (90° AUF).
N ch dem Absch lten der Sp nnung
(schw rze Ader) fährt der Antrieb in die
entgegengesetzte Endstellung (90° ZU).
Durch Anlegen der Sp nnung wird der Antrieb
in jede beliebige Stellung gesteuert.
Die schw rze Ader ist immer unter Sp nnung.
Ohne Sp nnung n der br unen Ader - öffnet
der Antrieb d s Ventil im Gegenuhrzeigersinn.
Mit Sp nnung n der br unen Ader - schließt
der Antrieb d s Ventil im Uhrzeigersinn.
In den Endstellungen oder bei Überl stung
spricht die M gnetkupplung n.
D s Stellsign l wird mittels der Absch lt-
elektronik n ch 60 sec. bgesch ltet.
 Elektro rbeiten dürfen nur von utorisiertem F chperson l usgeführt werden!
 Gehäuse d rf nicht geöffnet werden!
 Bei Mont ge im Freien: Es wird empfohlen, die Geräte bei einer Mont ge
ußerh lb von Gebäuden zusätzlich vor Witterungseinflüssen zu schützen.

N ch DIN EN 806 Teil 5 ist eine jährliche
Inspektion durch den Betreiber
durchzuführen.
Demontage des Oberteils
Die Demont ge des Stell ntriebs erfolgt in
umgekehrter Reihenfolge wie unter Punkt 3
beschrieben. Oberteil (A) mit einem M ul-
schlüssel SW 17 vom Gehäuse (1) lösen und
entnehmen. Körper und Dichtflächen optisch
überprüfen und ggf. ersetzen.
Montage
Oberteil (A) in d s Gehäuse (1) einsetzen und
bis zum Anschl g positionieren. D s Oberteil
wird mit einem M ulschlüssel SW 17 und
einem Anzugsmoment von 20 Nm ngezogen.

The KEMPER KHS quarter turn stop valve with
servo rive is esigne for use in rinking
water installations with the KHS-Hygiene
system an is suitable for maintenance, stop
an protection valve.
Important a vice to the operator
To prevent uncontrolle loss of water (in case
of power failure, the valve is opene ) the
KHS-Maximum flow isolating ball valve shoul
not be use as a terminal flushing valve. For
this case a KEMPER KHS-Maximum flow
isolating ball valve with spring-reset servo
rive Fig. 686 01 / Fig. 686 05 (normally
close ) is recommen e .
Maintenance
Accor ing to DIN EN 806 Part 5, the operator
has to make an annual inspection.

3 Installation
Recommendations:
a) Quarter turn stop valve
It is recommen e to install the quarter
turn stop valve PLUS in the pipeline in
a vance without the servo rive to
protect the servo rive from being
amage or getting irty. Make sure the
valve is installe in the pipeline tension
free.
The a vice of system manuals (e.g. LOGIC system control, KHS Mini system control,
Leak Security System, KHS Timer-Set) in which the valve is to be integrate , must be
observe .

The OPEN/CLOSE control is ma e using 2
wires. The rive is applie permanently to the
voltage using the blue an brown wires (valve
CLOSED).
When a voltage is applie to the black wire,
the valve opens an travels to the limit
position (90° OPEN).
After switching off the voltage (black wire), the
rive moves into the opposite limit position
(90° CLOSED).
The rive can be put into any esire position
by applying the voltage to the lea .
The black wire is always un er tension.
Without voltage on the brown wire, the rive
opens the valve counter clockwise.
With voltage on the brown wire, the rive
closes the valve clockwise.
In both final positions an uring overloa ,
the magnetic coupling triggers.
The rive position signal is switche off by
the switch-off electronics after 60 sec.

6 Maintenance
Accor ing to DIN EN 806 Part 5, the operator has
to make an annual inspection.
Removal of the head-part
Dismantle the servo rive in the reverse sequence
escribe in Point 3. Unscrew the hea part (A)
from the housing (1) with a 17 mm wrench an
remove it.
Visually check the bo y an sealing surfaces an
replace as necessary.
Installation
Insert the hea -part (A) into the housing (1) an
position at the limit stop. Tighten the hea -part
with a 17 mm wrench using 20 Nm torque. Install
the servo rive as escribe in Point 3.
