Insertingthe batteries
Please ensure the correctpolarity.1xlithiumbattery(CR 2032)
1.Openthe battery compartmentonthe bottom.
2.Connectthe compound batterytothesupply connection. Pleaseensurethe correct polarity.
3.Closethe batterycompartment again.
4.Ifthedevice isnot usedforaprolongedperiodoftime,pleasetake the batteriesout in
ordertoprevent leakageofbattery acid.
Note: Donot dispose of batteriesin the domesticwaste. Please returnusedbatteries tothe relevant collection
pointsortheshopwherethey werebought. Neverthrow batteriesintoa fire.
Weigh-inFunction (TARE)
Ifyouwouldliketoweigh furtheringredientsforexample,use the weigh-infunction.
• Press the„EIN/TARA”buttonagain. The displayreturnsto“0”.
• Now placethe ingredientinthe panofthe scales.Only the actual weightoftheadded
ingredient is showninthedisplay.Repeat theabove procedureif necessary.
Whenthescalesarenotbeing usedtheyturnoff automatically afterapproximately2minutes.
This prolongsthebattery life.Alternativelyyoucanpress the„AUS”buttontoswitchthe
deviceoff.
