2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
2.1 Verwendungszweck
Die Orthese ist ausschließlich zur orthetischen Versorgung der Halswirbel
säule einzusetzen und ausschließlich für den Kontakt mit intakter Haut be
stimmt.
Die Orthese muss indikationsgerecht eingesetzt werden.
2.2 Indikationen
• Cervicalsyndrom
• Hypermobilität der HWS
• Rheumatische Beschwerden der HWS
• Überlastung der Nackenmuskulatur
• Schleudertrauma der HWS
• Degenerative Veränderungen der HWS
Die Indikation wird vom Arzt gestellt.
2.3 Kontraindikationen
2.3.1 Absolute Kontraindikationen

2.3.2 Relative Kontraindikationen
Bei nachfolgenden Indikationen ist eine Rücksprache mit dem Arzt erforder
lich: Hauterkrankungen/-verletzungen, Entzündungen, aufgeworfene Narben
mit Schwellung, Rötung und Überwärmung im versorgten Körperabschnitt,

Tumoren, Lymphabfluss-Störungen, Sensibilitätsstörungen im Bereich der
Halswirbelsäule.
2.4 Wirkungsweise
Die Orthese wärmt und stützt die Halswirbelsäule.

4 Handhabung
INFORMATION
►Die tägliche Tragedauer und der Anwendungszeitraum werden in der
Regel vom Arzt festgelegt.
►Die erstmalige Anpassung und Anwendung des Produkts darf nur
durch Fachpersonal erfolgen.
►Weisen Sie den Patienten in die Handhabung und Pflege des Produkts
ein.
►Weisen Sie den Patienten darauf hin, dass er umgehend einen Arzt
aufsuchen soll, wenn er außergewöhnliche Veränderungen an sich
feststellt (z.B. Zunahme der Beschwerden).
4.1 Auswählen der Größe
1) Den Halsumfang messen.
2) Die Nackenhöhe messen.
3) Die Orthesengröße ermitteln (siehe Größentabelle).
4.2 Anlegen

►Stellen Sie das korrekte Anlegen und den korrekten Sitz des Produkts

2) Die Orthese hinten schließen (siehe Abb.2).
→Die Orthese liegt beim Geradeausschauen auf dem Schlüsselbein auf
und stützt das Kinn (siehe Abb.3).
4.3 Reinigung
HINWEIS
Verwendung falscher Reinigungsmittel
Beschädigung des Produktes durch falsche Reinigungsmittel
►Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur mit den zugelassenen Reinigungsmitteln.
1) Alle Klettverschlüsse schließen.
2) Die Orthese in 30°C warmen Wasser mit einem handelsüblichen Fein
waschmittel von Hand waschen.
3) Die Orthese gut ausspülen.
4) An der Luft trocknen lassen. Direkte Hitzeeinwirkung vermeiden (z.B.
durch Sonnenbestrahlung, Ofen- oder Heizkörperhitze).
5 Entsorgung
Das Produkt gemäß den geltenden nationalen Vorschriften entsorgen.
6 Rechtliche Hinweise
Alle rechtlichen Bedingungen unterliegen dem jeweiligen Landesrecht des
Verwenderlandes und können dementsprechend variieren.
6.1 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet, wenn das Produkt gemäß den Beschreibungen und
Anweisungen in diesem Dokument verwendet wird. Für Schäden, die durch
Nichtbeachtung dieses Dokuments, insbesondere durch unsachgemäße
Verwendung oder unerlaubte Veränderung des Produkts verursacht werden,

These instructions for use provide important information on the application of
the 50C1 Necky Optima, 50C20 Necky Color and 50C30 Necky Color Forte
cervical orthoses.
2 Intended use
2.1 Indications for use
The orthosis is intended exclusively for orthotic fittings of the cervical spine
and exclusively for contact with intact skin.
The orthosis must be used in accordance with the indications.
2.2 Indications
• Cervical syndrome
• Hypermobility of the cervical spine
• Rheumatic complaints of the cervical spine
• Excessive strain on the neck muscles
• Whiplash trauma of the cervical spine
• Degenerative changes of the cervical spine
Indications must be determined by the physician.
2.3 Contraindications
2.3.1 Absolute Contraindications
Not known.
2.3.2 Relative Contraindications
Consult the physician if any of the following occur: skin diseases/injuries,
inflammation, raised scars with swelling, reddening, and warming in the
area where the orthosis is fitted, tumours, lymphatic congestion and dysaes
thesia in the cervical spine.
2.4 Effects
The orthosis supports and warms the cervical spine.

4 Handling
INFORMATION
►The daily duration of use and period of application are generally
determined by the physician.
►The initial fitting and application of the product must be carried out by
qualified personnel.
►Instruct the patient in the handling and care of the product.
►Instruct the patient to see a physician immediately if any exceptional
changes are noted (e.g. worsening of the complaint).
4.1 Size Selection
1) Measure the neck size.
2) Measure the neck height.
3) Determine the orthosis size (see size chart).
4.2 Application

→When looking straight ahead, the orthosis rests on the clavicle and sup
ports the chin (see fig.3).

4.3 Cleaning
NOTICE
Use of improper cleaning agents
Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents
►Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.
1) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
2) Hand wash the orthosis in warm water at 30°C with standard mild deter
gent.
3) Rinse well.
4) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e.g. sunlight,
stove or radiator).
5 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.
6 Legal information
All legal conditions are subject to the respective national laws of the country
of use and may vary accordingly.
6.1 Liability
The manufacturer will only assume liability if the product is used in accord

2 Utilisation conforme
2.1 Usage prévu
L’orthèse est exclusivement destinée à un appareillage orthétique du ra
chis cervical et elle est conçue uniquement pour entrer en contact avec une
peau intacte.
Il est impératif d’utiliser l’orthèse conformément aux indications.
2.2 Indications
• Syndrome cervical
• Hypermobilité du rachis cervical
• Rhumatismes du rachis cervical
• Surcharge de la musculature de la nuque
• Traumatisme du rachis cervical (coup du lapin)
• Modifications dégénératives du rachis cervical
L’indication est déterminée par le médecin.
2.3 Contre-indications

Il est nécessaire de consulter un médecin en présence des indications sui
vantes: affections ou lésions cutanées, inflammations, cicatrices exubé
rantes avec gonflement, rougeur et hyperthermie dans la région appareillée,
tumeurs, troubles de l’écoulement lymphatique et troubles de la sensibilité
dans la région du rachis cervical.
2.4 Effets thérapeutiques
L’orthèse réchauffe et soutient le rachis cervical.

4 Manipulation
INFORMATION
►En général, le médecin détermine la durée quotidienne du port du pro
duit et sa période d’utilisation.
►Seul le personnel spécialisé est habilité à procéder au premier ajuste
ment et à la première utilisation du produit.
►Apprenez au patient comment manipuler et entretenir correctement le
produit.
►Indiquez au patient qu'il doit immédiatement consulter un médecin s'il
constate des changements anormaux sur sa personne (par ex. une
augmentation des douleurs).
4.1 Sélection de la taille
1) Mesurez la circonférence du cou.
2) Mesurez la hauteur de la nuque.
3) Sélectionnez la taille de l’orthèse (voir tableau des mesures et des
tailles).
4.2 Mise en place

4.3 Nettoyage

rayonnement solaire ou la chaleur d’un poêle/d’un radiateur).
5 Mise au rebut
Éliminez le produit conformément aux prescriptions nationales en vigueur.

L'ortesi è indicata esclusivamente per il trattamento ortesico della colonna
cervicale e deve essere applicata esclusivamente sulla pelle intatta.

Nei seguenti casi si rende necessaria la consultazione del medico: lesioni o
patologie cutanee, infiammazioni, cicatrici protruse con rigonfiamenti, arros
samento e surriscaldamento della parte trattata, gonfiori, disturbi della circo
lazione linfatica, disturbi della sensibilità a carico della colonna cervicale.
2.4 Azione terapeutica
L'ortesi riscalda e sostiene la colonna cervicale.

4 Utilizzo

del paziente devono essere eseguiti esclusivamente da personale spe
cializzato.
►Istruire il paziente circa l'uso e la cura corretti del prodotto.
►Il paziente deve essere informato della necessità di recarsi immediata
mente da un medico nel caso in cui notasse cambiamenti inusuali
(p.es. aumento dei disturbi).
4.1 Scelta della misura
1) Misurare la circonferenza del collo.
2) Misurare l'altezza della nuca.
3) Determinare la misura dell'ortesi (vedere tabella misure).
4.2 Applicazione

Un'applicazione errata o troppo stretta del prodotto può comportare la
comparsa di punti di pressione localizzati e la compressione di vasi sangui

►Accertarsi che il prodotto sia stato applicato e rimanga posizionato in

►Verificare la funzionalità, l'usura e l'eventuale danneggiamento del pro

> Aprire tutte le chiusure a velcro dell'ortesi.
1) Applicare l'ortesi avvolgendola intorno al collo (v. fig.1).
2) Chiudere l'ortesi sulla parte posteriore (v. fig.2).
→Con il volto rivolto in avanti l'ortesi poggia sulla clavicola e sostiene il
mento (v. fig.3).
4.3 Pulizia

Utilizzo di detergenti inappropriati
Danni al prodotto dovuti a detergenti inappropriati

►Pulire il prodotto usando esclusivamente i detergenti autorizzati.
1) Chiudere tutte le chiusure velcro.
2) Lavare l'ortesi a mano a 30°C con un comune detergente per prodotti
delicati.
3) Risciacquare con cura l'ortesi.
4) Lasciare asciugare all’aria. Evitare l'esposizione diretta a fonti di calore
(p.es. raggi solari, calore di stufe o termosifoni).
5 Smaltimento
Smaltire il prodotto in conformità alle vigenti prescrizioni nazionali.
6 Note legali
Tutte le condizioni legali sono soggette alla legislazione del rispettivo paese
di appartenenza dell'utente e possono quindi essere soggette a modifiche.
6.1 Responsabilità
Il produttore risponde se il prodotto è utilizzato in conformità alle descrizioni
e alle istruzioni riportate in questo documento. Il produttore non risponde in

2 Uso previsto
2.1 Uso previsto
Esta órtesis debe emplearse exclusivamente para el tratamiento de la co
lumna cervical y está prevista exclusivamente para el contacto con piel in
tacta.
La órtesis debe utilizarse según la indicación del médico.
2.2 Indicaciones
• Síndrome cervical
• Hipermovilidad de la columna cervical
• Dolencias reumáticas en la columna cervical
• Sobrecarga de la musculatura cervical
• Latigazo cervical
• Trastornos degenerativos de la columna cervical
El médico será quien determine la indicación.
2.3 Contraindicaciones
2.3.1 Contraindicaciones absolutas
Se desconocen.
2.3.2 Contraindicaciones relativas
Los usuarios que presenten alguna de las siguientes indicaciones deberán
consultar a su médico: enfermedades o lesiones de la piel; inflamaciones;
cicatrices con hinchazón, enrojecimiento y sobrecalentamiento en la región
corporal que se va a tratar; tumores; trastornos del flujo linfático; trastornos
de sensibilidad en la zona de la columna cervical.
2.4 Modo de funcionamiento
La órtesis proporciona una sensación de calor y afianza la columna cervical.

3.2 Indicaciones generales de seguridad

Contacto con calor, brasas o fuego
Riesgo de lesiones (p.ej., quemaduras) y de dañar el producto
►Mantenga el producto alejado del fuego directo, brasas u otras fuentes

Reutilización en otras personas y limpieza deficiente
Irritaciones cutáneas, aparición de eccemas o infecciones debidas a una

►El producto debe utilizarse únicamente en una persona.
►Limpie el producto con regularidad.

4 Manejo
INFORMACIÓN
►El periodo de tiempo que se puede llevar puesta la órtesis durante el
día y el periodo de uso dependen generalmente de las indicaciones del
médico.
