How to replace your iX-1
Remove the meter
Disconnect the Weighing Platform
Unpack the box
Disconnect the internet cable
Remove print head packaging
Disconnect the power cable
Remove the ink cartridge
Unplug the weighing platform
connector from the scale port
located on the back of the iX-1.
Remove the weighing platform
(d) from the mailing system (a).
Unplug the LAN cable from
the internet cable port
located on the of the iX-1 (e).
Unplug the power adapter
cable connector from the
back of your iX-1.
Open the front cover, then
pull on the left side of the
blue lever to unlock the
cartridge.
Pull the cartridge towards
you to disengage it.
Turn the iX-1 on its back and
open the meter cover located
on the bottom of the system.
Remove the meter (b) and
close the cover.
Remove the replacement unit
from the box and place the
original unit into the box to
return.

Open the front cover.
Remove the protective
packaging, then close the
front cover.

Because the iX-1 is so reliable, we can x most problems over the phone.
If we cannot x your problem, we will send a replacement system. Once you receive your
replacement system, complete the steps below to replace and return your damaged system.

Press to move the
current ink cartridge into the
replacement position.
Next, press the scroll up button
to select ink cartridge, then
press .
Activate ink cartridge replacement
Press the key.











How to replace your iX-1

Return the original unitConnect the internet cable
Plug one end of the LAN cable
into the internet cable port
located on the back of the iX-1.
Plug the other end into a LAN
wall jack or Wi router.
Prepare the box for shipping and
ax the prepaid return label.
Please return the original unit
within ten business days to avoid
being charged the full replace-
ment value of the equipment.

Install the meter
Connect the power cable
Turn the iX-1 on its back and
open the meter cover located
on the bottom of the system.
Plug the power cable connector
into the power adapter.
Plug the power adapter
connector into the back of the
iX-1.
Insert the meter (b) by
positioning it vertically, with
the contacts down facing to
the rear and the labels facing
towards you. Close the cover.

Add postage fundsConnect the weighing platform
Plug the weighing platform
connector into the scale port
located on the back of the iX-1.
Tuck the cable into the
extra space at the back of
the system, then place the
weighing platform on top of
the iX-1.
Press the key to add
funds.






Conrm ink cartridge installation
Install the ink cartridge
Open the front cover, then
open the ink cartridge slot by
pulling the blue lever towards
you and turning it to the right.
Return to the iX-1 control panel
and press .
Follow the screen prompts to
conrm the replacement.




 

Insert the ink cartridge (c),
then turn the blue lever back
to the left until the cartridge is
secured, then close the cover.
Plug the other end of the
power cable into the wall outlet.
The system will power up
automatically.

Use the down arrow button to
select add funds, then press .
Using the keypad, enter the
amount of postage to add,
then press .
