Step 1
å Assemble your unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty
carton to avoid scratching your unit or the floor.
å Insert two WOOD DOWELS (1) into a SHELF (F) so the
WOOD DOWELS are showing on both surfaces.
å Push two UPRIGHTS (E) onto the WOOD DOWELS in
the SHELF (F).

å Insert four WOOD DOWELS (1) into the edges of
the UPRIGHTS (E).
å Push two SHELVES (F) onto the WOOD DOWELS
in the UPRIGHTS (E).
å NOTE: The WOOD DOWELS should come through
the SHELVES.

å Open the FURNITURE TIPPING RESTRAINT KIT (96),
and fasten the SAFETY STRAP to the TOP (B). Use the
provided SHORT SCREW.

Use the SHORT SCREW
from the RESTRAINT KIT.
Meet Part (B). This component has been
engineered to be lighter, stronger, faster…
well ok. Not technically faster. But
definitely makes for a sturdier 8-Cube
Organizer that’s easier to assemble and
friendlier to the environment.

å Push two UPRIGHTS (E) onto the WOOD DOWELS
showing through the SHELVES (F).
å Insert four WOOD DOWELS (1) into the edges of
the UPRIGHTS (E).
å Push the BOTTOM (A) and TOP (B) onto the
WOOD DOWELS in the UPRIGHTS (E).

å Insert six WOOD DOWELS (1) into an END (C).
å Fasten the END (C) to the BOTTOM (A), TOP (B),
and SHELVES (F). Tighten four 3-5/16" HEX HEAD
SCREWS (3) using the L-WRENCH (4).
å NOTE: You should start each SCREW a few turns
before completely tightening any of them.
å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWELS in the END insert
into the SHELVES.

å Insert six WOOD DOWELS (1) into an END (C).
å Fasten the END (C) to the BOTTOM (A), TOP (B),
and SHELVES (F). Tighten four 3-5/16" HEX HEAD
SCREWS (3) using the L-WRENCH (4).
å NOTE: You should start each SCREW a few turns
before completely tightening any of them.
å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWELS in the END insert
into the SHELVES.

å NOTE: The unit can be positioned horizontally or vertically.
å Carefully stand your unit upright against the wall in its final location. If you are standing your unit horizontally, the
SAFETY STRAP is not needed.
å NOTE: The following instructions show your vertical unit being fastened to a wall stud. If you are not fastening your unit
to a wall stud, go to the next step now.
å 1st- Locate the center of a stud in your wall near your unit and mark it with a pencil just below the top surface of your
unit so the SAFETY STRAP will not be visible.
å 2nd- Drill a 1/8" hole on the mark and into the stud in your wall.
å 3rd-
Fasten the unit to the wall. Use the LONG SCREW through the other end of the SAFETY STRAP and into the 1/8" hole.
