Installation
1. Determine the desired location and
installation—surface or to a back box.
2. Remove the two screws from the two tabs
that attach the mounting base to the main
unit (See Fig. 1).
3. Squeeze the included base removal tool and
insert through the wiring access hole in the
back of the unit. Release and pull carefully
until the base is removed from the unit.
4. Remove the base removal tool and turn the
mounting base over to view the wiring
terminals (see Fig. 2)
5. Thread the wires (up to 8 depending on
installation see Sample Application pg. 4)
through the center hole in the base.
6. Using the provided mounting screws thread
the screws through the provided gaskets
and then through the four mounting holes in
the base to the wall/back box. Ensure the
engraved arrow on the base is pointing
upward (see Fig. 2).
NOTE: For non-standard boxes drill other
holes engraved in oval indentations
on the mounting base as needed.
7. Connect the wires to the terminals on the
mounting base as shown in Fig. 3 and
referring to the Sample Application on pg. 4.
Note that audio input requires power to the
PWR (+) terminal.
8. Upload a custom message if desired (see
Recording and Uploading a Custom
Message pg. 4).
9. Carefully slide the main unit onto the base
ensuring the correct orientation (note the
notch and arrows) and that the terminal
plugs are correctly engaged (see Fig. 1).
10.Test and remove to adjust broadcast
volume as needed.
11.Secure the main unit to the base using the
two screws removed in step 2.
