1. General Description
Read thismanualcarefullybeforeoperationtopreventpersonalinjuriesor
damageof themachine.
SAL-U seriesself-contained hopperloaderissuitableforconveyingvirginmaterial.
It adoptsstainlesssteelhoppertoavoidmaterialcontamination.It looks nice,
sinceitssufacehasbeen polished.Inaddition,ithasasound-proofblowercover
toreducenoiseproduced intheprocessofoperation.What smore,theremote
operationhasbeenrealized byusingadetachablecontroller,whichismore
convenientforclientstooperate.

speed, largeair quantityand compactappearance.It seasyfor
transportation and installation.

cleanerasstandardequipments. ForSAL-6Uand abovemodels, it is

manuallyclean time.
All maintenanceworkshouldbecarriedoutbyaperson withtechnicaltrainingor
correspondingprofessionalexperience. Themanualcontainsinstructionsforboth
operatingand maintenance.Chapter6containsmaintenanceinstructionsfor
serviceengineers. Otherchapterscontaininstructionsforthedailyoperator.
Anymodificationsofthe machine mustbeapproved bySHINIinordertoavoid
personalinjuryand damagetomachine.Weshall notbe liableforanydamage
causedbyunauthorized changeof themachine.

1.Anycareless orman-madeinstallations,operation and maintenances
uponmachineswithoutreferringtotheManualpriortomachine using.
2.Anyincidentsbeyond humancontrols, whichinclude man-madeviciousor
deliberatedamagesorabnormalpower, and machine faultscausedby
irresistiblenaturaldisastersincludingfire,flood, stormand earthquake.
3.Anyoperationalactionsthatarenotauthorized byShiniuponequipment,
includingaddingorreplacingaccessories,dismantling, deliveringor
repairing.
4.Employingconsumablesoroil mediathatarenotappointed byShini.

SAL-U seriesofself-containedHopperLoaderissuitableforconveyingplastic
granules. Itmainlyconveysmaterialsbyrunningthe blowertoproducedifferential
pressureinsidethe materialhopper.

Afterstartingthemachine, blower(2)beginstovacuumizematerialhopper(4). At
the sametime,the non-returnflap(6)isclosed.Materialsinthestoragebinwill go
intomaterialhopper(4)frommaterialinletpipe(3)underdifferentialpressure.
When materialconveyingiscompleted,theblowerwill stop working.Materialswill
thenfall downduetogravity.Whenmagneticproximityswitch(8)detectsthat
thereisno materialleftinthe hopper,the solenoidvalve(13)willopen.Thus,the
air forcleaningwill flowintoautodustcleaner(12)fromtheair pipeconnector(14)

tocleanthedustcoveringon thefilterclothandhopperinnerwall.Then,the
blowerwill startagain.Whenlackingmaterials,thealarmlight(9)oncontrolbox
(11)will be ontosound analarm.Theequiomentequippedwithair acculamtor
can increaseair storagecapacitytoreinforcethededustingefficiencyoftheauto
dust cleaner.

ventilation.

3.1Installtheequipementondryersor molding machines.
3.1.1Installation of SAL-U (-A)

Install the HopperLoader(SAL-U) onahopperdryer(refertotheabovedrawing)
byfasteningthe screwson thehopperbase.Connectone endofthe conveying
pipe withmaterialinlet(A)and theotherendwithsuction pipe(B).Then insert the
end withsuctionpipe B intothestoragetank.
3.1.2PowerSupplyofSAL-U(-A)
Connect SAL-1.5U/ 3U/ 6U/ 12U-(A)withAC1Φ230V, 50Hzpowersupplyand
earthwire.

materialinlet(A)withsuctionbox(B)ofthe dryer.Ifequippedwithoptionalair
accumulatororcleaning function, pleaseconnect withair supply.
3.1.4PowerSupplyofSAL-U-E(A)
ConnectSAL-U-E(A)seriesofmachineswithAC1Φ,230V, 50Hzpowersupply
and earthwire.
Note:Make surethatpowersupplyisturnedoff beforeyou
connecttheelectricalwires.

4.Application and Operation
4.1Start/ Stopthe Machine
Thestart and stop of SAL-U seriesiscontrolled bystart/stopswitchon thecontrol
panel.
4.2Keypad ontheControl Panel
Input valuesbeforeselectingorcancelingitems.
Input valuesbeforeselectingorsavingitems. It isalsousedtoclearthealarm
when alarmoccurs.
Increasevalue.
Decreasevalue.
+ Stop the machine in3seconds.Bythen, the machine stop workingand
the screen doesn t display. Press toresumeoperation.
Notice:Themachinewill restartifconnecting thepowersupply
again.
4.3ParametersSetting
4.3.1EnterSettingModeofLayerOne
Undernormaloperation,press forabout1secondtoenter[F.01]setting
screen.Thenthescreenwill alternatelydisplay[F.01]andthesettingvalue
respectivelyfor0.8sec.
If [F.04]isset,thesystemwill switchto[F.99].Thescreenwill alternatelydisplay
[F.99]andthesettingvalue respectivelyfor0.8sec.Inputcorrectpasswordto
enter[F.01].
4.3.2Edit Parameters
Press toincreaseparametervalue.Hold forabout1secondtoquickly
increasevalue tothe maximuminput.
