1.General Description
Pleaseread thismanualcarefullybeforeusingthismachineinorderto

Note!
Alwaystakegreatcarewhenthebladesarewithinreach,theyarevery
sharpand can causepersonalinjury.
Forbiddentoprocess flammableortoxicmaterial!
SG-50(B)seriesgranulatorsareapplicabletogranulatevariouskindsofplastic
materialsfrominjectionmolding,blowmoldingorextrusion molding.Thisseries
featurescompactdesign,easyoperationandquick bladereplacement.Gradually
inclined cuttingandintegrated powerdesign offersabettercuttingeffectanda
lowernoiselevel.

1.2Feature
lRotatingcuttersadoptnewlydeveloped V-typecuttingtechnologywhich
can send thefeedingmaterialintothecenterofrotatingcutterssoto
prevent thematerialfromadheringontotheinnersideof thecutting
chamberwhileenhancingitswearability.
lThecuttersaremadeofimportedhighqualitysteelfeaturingwearability,
highrigidity, longservicelifeand reusableafterre-sharpening.
lEquippedwithpresettingknifejig, rotatingbladescan be adjusted inthe
fixtureoutsidethemachine insideofmachineinsteadof machineinside. It
madebladesadjustmentmucheasier.
lCuttingchambermadeofhighrigiditymaterial, afterprocessingbyCNC
machine,hasthefeatureslikehighintensity, superwearability, no
contamination, longservicelifeandeasyformaintenanceandrepairing.
lSound-prooffeedingboxreducesthe noiselevelinoperation,alsoequips
asafetymaterialcheckingcurtainwhichensuresnomaterialsprinkling
duringgranulating.
lV-type transmission beltshelpmaintainabalanced operationmode,close
contact, and alsoeasytodisassembleandrepair.
lBoth feedinghopperand screencradlecanbeopenedand closedbythe
hydraulicsystemwhichensuressafeoperation.
lCoolingwaterdeviceat therearplateofcutting chambercaneffectively
cooldownthe cuttingchamberand prevent theinsidematerialfrom
meltingup.

instructionsforbothhandlingand servicing.Chapter6,whichcontainsservice
instructionsintended forserviceengineers.Otherchapterscontaininstructionsfor
the dailyoperator.
Anymodificationsofthe machinemustbeapprovedbySHINIinordertoavoid
personalinjuryanddamagetomachine.Weshall notbe liableforanydamage
causedbyunauthorized changeof themachine.

1.4SafetyRegulations
Followthe instructionsinthismanualtoavoidpersonalinjuryand damageto
machine components.
1.4.1SafetySignsand Labels
Electricalinstallation mustonlybe donebyacompetent electrician!
Beforethegranulatorisopenedforservicingandmaintenance,always
disconnectthe powerwithboththe mainswitchand the controlswitchon
the granulator.
Neverputanypartofyourbodythrough thegranulatoropenings,unless
boththemainswitchand thecontrolswitchonthegranulatorarein"Off"
position.
Highvoltage! Danger!
Thissignisattachedonthecontrolboxand the wiringbox.

If therotormust beturned manually-do thiswithgreat care!
Thegranulatorshouldnotbe abletostartbeforethehopperandscreen
bracketareproperlyclosed.
Attention please!
Earprotectionisusedduringgranulatingofplasticmaterials.
Makesurethepowerhasbeencutoffbeforeopeningthefeed box!
Neverremoveprotectivespongeorquick couplingclipsadjacenttothe
outletofstoragebin!
Thefeedingblowerisused toconveygranulesandpowderwhichrequires
the temperatureisnothigherthan80 .
Loadingblowerhasgreatsuction poweranditiseasytohaveobjectsand
clothessuctionedintoand leadtopersonalinjuries.Sotheblowershould
notbe usedwithout anyprotectivecover.
Whenitisworkingwithtransmission belt,pleasecarefullycheckifthe
operator's clothes,arm orleghasbeenstuck bythe transmissionbelt.
Clean the duston theair inlet regularly.
SG-50(B)seriescuttingchambershouldbeheat-processedandthe
bladesmustbechanged beforethegranulatorsdealwithfiberadded
materials.

1.4.2Transportation andStorageoftheMachine
Transportation
1)SG-50(B)seriesofgranulatorsarepackedincrateorplywood caseswith
wooden pallet at thebottom, suitableforquickpositioningbyforklift.
2)Donotrotatethe machine and avoidcollision withotherobjectsduring
transportationtoprevent improperfunctioning.
3)Thestructureof themachineiswell-balanced, althoughitshouldalsobe
handled withcarewhenliftingthemachineforfearoffallingdown.
4)Themachineand itsattachedpartscanbekept atatemperaturefrom
-25 to+55 forlongdistancetransportationandforashort distance, it
can betransported withtemperatureunder+70 .

Storage
1)SG-50(B)seriesshouldbestoredindoorswithtemperaturekeptfrom
5to40 andhumiditybelow80%.
2)Disconnectall powersupplyand turnoffmainswitchand controlswitch.
3)Keepthewholemachine,especiallythe electricalcomponentsawayfrom
watertoavoidpotentialtroublescaused bythe water.
4)Useplasticfilmtocoverthe machine tightlytoprevent themachine from
dustandrains.
Workingenvironment
Indoorsinadryenvironmentwithmax.temperature+45 and humidityno more
than80%.
Donotusethemachine:
1)If it iswithadamaged cord.
2)Onawetfloororwhenit isexposedtoraintoavoidelectricshock.
3)If ithasbeendroppedordamageduntil it ischeckedorfixed byaqualified
serviceman.
4)Thisequipment works normallyinthe environment withaltitudeover
3000m.
5)At least1msurrounding spaceisrequested when thisequipment is
running. Keep thisequipmentawayfromflammablesourcesatleast2
meters.
6)Intheworkarea of vibration andstrongmagneticforce.
1.4.3Rejectedpartsdisposal
When theequipmenthasrunoutitslifetimeandcannotbeused anymore,
unplugthepowersupplyand disposeof it properlyaccordingtolocalcode.
Firehazard!
Incaseoffire, CO2drypowderfireextinguishershouldbeapplied.

Flammablematerialsormaterialswhicharecontaminatedbyflammable
substances/liquidmaynotbeprocessed inthe granulator.Seriousrisk of
fireorexplosion maycausepersonnelinjury.
Whenblockingoccurs!Especiallyinmanualfeeding(suchasfilm,fiber,
fragmentorothers),pleasemakefurtherconfirmationwithSHINIorlocal
agent.
It isveryimportanttotighten the screwasrequired torque.
Whenmaterialislongerthanfeedport,pleasecutthematerialahalfuntil
the lengthisshorterthan the feedport.
Pleasedon’tputmaterialsintothegranulatoriftheyarethinnerthan2mm
and aresoftandflexible, likerubber.
1.5ExemptionClause
Thefollowingstatementsclarifythe responsibilitiesand regulationsbornbyany
buyeroruserwho purchasesproductsandaccessoriesfromShini(including
employeesandagents).
Shiniisexempted fromliabilityforanycosts,fees,claimsandlossescausedby
reasonsbelow:
1)Anycareless orman-madeinstallations, operation and maintenances
uponmachineswithoutreferringtotheManualpriortomachine using.
2)Anyincidentsbeyondhuman reasonablecontrols, whichinclude
man-made viciousordeliberatedamagesorabnormalpower, and
machine faultscaused byirresistiblenaturaldisastersincludingfire,flood,
stormandearthquake.
3)Anyoperationalactionsthatarenotauthorized byShiniuponmachine,
includingaddingorreplacingaccessories,dismantling, deliveringor
repairing.
4)Employingconsumablesoroil mediathatarenotappointed byShini.
