1.General Description
Pleasereadthismanualcarefullybeforeusingthismachineinorderto
operatecorrectlyagainst anydamagecaused duetoimproperoperation.

Alwaystakegreatcarewhen the knivesarewithinreach,theyarevery

SG-36 seriessound-proofcentralgranulatorsaresuitableforcentralized recycling
ofwastesorrejected partsfrominjectionmoulding,blowmoulding orextrusion
lines.The machinesfeatureoptimized structure,easyoperation,andquick blade
replacement. Staggered rotatingbladescaneasilygrab and cutmaterials.This
designmakesthemachine workmoreefficientlyand canreducewasteofenergy
tothe minimum.Thisgranulatorhasvariousmodelswithwide application tomeet
differentcustomers demand.

1.4SafetyRegulations
Followthe instructionsinthismanualtoavoidpersonalinjuryand damageto
machine components.
Thefollowingsafetymeasuresshall befollowed when operatingthe granulator.
1.4.1Safetysignsandlabels
Electricalinstallationmustonlybe donebyacompetent electrician!
Beforethe granulatorisopened forservicingand maintenance,always
disconnectthe powerwithboththe mainswitchand the controlswitchon
the granulator.
Neverputanypartofyourbodythroughthegranulatoropenings,unless
boththemainswitchand thecontrolswitchonthegranulatorarein"Off"
position.
Highvoltage! Danger!
Thissignisattachedonthecontrolboxand the wiringbox.
Be carefulwiththe rotatingknives,theyareverysharpandcancause
personalinjury!
If therotormust beturned manually-do thiswithgreat care!
Thegranulatorshouldnotbe abletostartbeforethe hopperandscreen
bracketareproperlyclosed.
Attention please!
Earprotectionisusedduringgranulatingofplasticmaterials.

Neverremoveprotectivespongeorquick couplingclipsadjacenttothe
outletofstoragebin.
Makesurethepowerhasbeencutoffbeforeopeningthefeed box.
Loadingblowerapplicabletoconveyregrindandpowderanditrequires
thatthetemperatureof regrind and powdershouldnotbe morethan 80 .
Theloadingblowerhasgreatsuctionpoweranditiseasytogetgoodsor
clothessuckedinto, soit shouldhaveaprotectivecover.
Air inlet dust clean.
ConcerningSG-36thecuttingchambershouldbeheat-processedand the
bladesmustbechanged beforethegranulatorsdealwithfibreadded
material.
Attention！
Noneedforregularinspectionbecauseall theelectricalpartsinthecontrol
unit arefixed tightly！
Whenoperatethe granulator, pleasenoticethe followingsigns
Wateroutlet: drainageoutlet.
Waterinlet: inletforreplenishingwater
and coolingwater.

1.4.2Transportation andStorageoftheMachine
Transportation
1)SG-36 seriesofgranulatorsarepacked inplywood caseswithwooden
palletat the bottom, suitableforquick positioningbyforklift.
2)Afterunpacked, castorsequipped onthemachine canbeused foreaseof
movement.
3)Donotrotatethe machine and avoidcollision withotherobjectsduring
transportationtoprevent improperfunctioning.
4)Thestructureof themachineiswell-balanced, however，it alsoshouldbe
handled withcarewhenliftingthemachinetopreventfallingdown.
5)Themachineand itsattachedpartscanbekept withatemperaturefrom
-25℃to+55℃forlongdistancetransporotation whileforashort
distance, it can be transportedwithtemperatureunder+70℃.
Storage
1)SG-36 seriesshouldbestoredindoorswithtemperaturekeptfrom5℃to
40℃and humiditybelow80%.
2)Disconnectall powersupplyand turnoffmainswitchand exigencystop
switch
3)Keepthewholemachine,especiallythe electricalcomponentsawayfrom
watertoavoidpotentialtroublescaused bythe water.
4)Useplasticfilmtocoverthe machine tightlytoprevent themachine from
dustandrainwater.
Workingenvironment
Themachineshouldbeoperated:
1)Indoorswithadryenvironmentofmax. temperature+45℃andhumidity
no morethan80%.

1)Ifit iswithadamaged cord.
2)Onawet floororwhen it isexposed toraintoavoidelectricshock.
3)Ifithasbeendroppedordamageduntilitischeckedorfixedbya

4)Thisequipmentworks normallyintheenvironmentwithaltitudeover
1,000m.
5)At least1msurroundingspaceisrequested whenthisequipmentis
running.Keepthisequipmentawayfromflammablesourcesatleast two
meters.

Rejectedpartsdisposal
When the equipmenthasrunoutitslifetimeandcannotbeused anymore,
unplugthepowersupplyand disposeof it properlyaccordingtolocalcode.
Firehazard!
Incaseoffire, CO2drypowderfireextinguishershouldbeapplied.
Flammablematerialsormaterialswhicharecontaminatedbyflammable
materials/liquidshouldnotbeprocessedinthe granulator.Seriousrisk of
fireorexplosion maycausepersonnelinjury.
It isveryimportanttotighten the screwasrequired torque.
Ifprocess itemislongerthan feed port, pleasecut longitemsintohalfuntil
the lengthisshorterthan the feedportbeforeprocessing.
Pleasedon`tput materialsintothegranulatoriftheyarethinnerthan 2mm
and aresoftandflexible, likerubber.

1.5 Exemption Clause
Thefollowingstatementsclarifythe responsibilitiesandregulationsbornbyany
buyeroruserwho purchasesproductsandaccessoriesfromShini(including
employeesandagents).
Shiniisexemptedfromliabilityforanycosts,fees,claimsandlossescausedby
reasonsbelow:
1. Anycarelessorman-madeinstallations,operation andmaintenancesupon
machineswithoutreferringtothe Manualpriortomachineusing.
2. Anyincidentsbeyondhumanreasonablecontrols, whichincludeman-made
viciousordeliberatedamagesorabnormalpower,and machine faultscaused
byirresistiblenaturaldisastersincludingfire,flood,stormand earthquake.
3. Anyoperationalactionsthatarenotauthorized byShiniuponmachine,
includingaddingorreplacingaccessories, dismantling,deliveringorrepairing.
4. Employingconsumablesoroil mediathatarenotappointed byShini.

2.Structural Features and Working Principle
2.1GeneralDescription
SG-36 seriesgranulatorsapplicabletogranulatewasteplasticforrecyclinguse,
mountmagnetatthematerialinlettocleanoutmetalscrapsandcontaminations
beforegranulatingsotopreventmetalscrapsfromgettingintocuttingchamber
and bringingdamagetotheblades.
Thegranulatoriscontrolled throughthemainpowerswitch,safetyswitch,
"Start/Stop" buttonand "Emergencystop"button.

Thewastematerialsenterthecuttingchamberviamaterialinlet(A).Therotating
blade (B)andfixed blade (C) grind the materials. Theparticlesizeiscontrolled by
thesizeofscreen(D).Thescreen(D) islocatedbehindofthecuttingchamber.
Thusitisconvenienttoreplacescreentootherdifferentsizes.Thegranulated
materialsaredroppedintothe storagebox(E)viathe screen andbeconveyed via
dischargingpipe (F).Theexternalmaterial-conveyingblowerabsorbsthe
granulatedmaterialsintothecyclone dust separatortoseparatethe air and dust.
Theobtained particlescan be reused directlyorsenttosomewhereforstorage.
Thefoldablefeed boxhasagood tunnelformaintenance,thusitisvery
convenientforcleaning.
2.2SafetySystem
Thegranulatorpossessesahighly-securesafetysystemtoavoidaccidentduring
the operation.Thefast-rotatingblade inthegranulatorispronetoresultinan
accident.
Thus,thesafetysystemcanprotecthumanbody.Thesafetysystemcan be
alteredundernocircumstances,otherwisethemachinewouldindangerous
situationandcando harms.All repair andmaintenanceworkshouldbe carried out
bythe professionals.
If anysafetysystemchangetakesplace,nocommitmentwill be fulfiledand all
replacedcomponentsshouldbe provided bySHINI.
2.2.1EmergencyStop
Emergencystop isaredbuttonon the controlpanel.Press itthen themachine will
stopworking.It canberesetbyturningthebuttonasthearrowdirection
(anticlockwise).

2.2.2SafetySwitch
Therearesafepositionswitchesforcircuitbreakersinthegranulator.Ifthereis
anychange,forexample,thepositionofthedoororthe feedboxchangedorthe
circuitbreakerisloose,the safetypositionswitchwill cutthepoweroffandstop
the machine.
Twosafetyswitchesmaybe involved.Oneislocatedbetween thefeedboxand
the cuttingchamberandtheotherlinks tothe lock inthemachine door.

2.2.3DoorLock
Thelockofthemachineisalonghexagonalscrew,whichcanextend thetimeof
dooropeningtoavoidanyinjury.When openingthe door,thishexagonalscrew
shall beloosened.Looseningthedoor-lockneedsaperiod oftimeavoiding
personnelinjury.
