1. General Description
Read thismanualcarefullybeforeoperationtopreventdamageofthe
machine orpersonalinjuries.
SAL-UG seriesseparate-vacuumhopperloaderarebasedontheestablished
designandnowfeaturemoreattractiveappearance,betterperformance,and
improved easeofoperation.The wholerangecomprisesof seven models
equippedwithvacuumblowerfrom1to15 HP. Economymodelscanbe offered
on request.

controllerwhichfeaturesdirectdisplayandeasyoperation;
Thecontrollerhasindependent mixingand shut-offoutput function,whichcan
controlthe proportionalvalveSPV-U and shut-off boxSBUdirectly;
EquippedwithRS485 communicationinterface;
Equippedwithaudibleand visualalarm
SAL-5HP-UG/UGP(-D) adoptsintegrated cyclone filterthatcan effectively
reducethefilterloader;
SAL-10HP-UG/UGP(-D) hasautocleaningfunction withoutshutdownthatcan
prolongitsworkingtime.
TheseriesofSAL-UG/UGPmodelsareequipped withvacuumbreakingvalve
toprotectthe protector;
SAL-UGseriesisequipped withEurostainless steelhoppertoensureno
materialscontamination.

All serviceworkshouldbe carried out byaperson withtechnicaltrainingor
correspondingprofessionalexperience.Themanualcontainsinstructionsforboth
handlingand servicing.Chapter6,whichcontainsserviceinstructionsintended for
serviceengineers. Otherchapterscontaininstructionsforthedailyoperator.
Anymodificationsofthemachinemustbe approved bySHINI inordertoavoid
personalinjuryand damagetomachine.Weshall not beliableforanydamage
causedbyunauthorized changeof themachine.

Shiniisexemptedfromliabilityforanycosts,fees, claimsand lossescausedby
reasonsbelow:
1.Anycareless orman-madeinstallations,operation and maintenancesupon
machineswithoutreferringtothe Manualpriortomachineusing.
2.Anyincidentsbeyond human reasonablecontrols, whichinclude man-made
viciousordeliberatedamagesorabnormalpower, and machinefaultscaused
byirresistiblenaturaldisastersincludingfire,flood,stormand earthquake.
3.Anyoperationalactionsthatarenotauthorized byShiniuponmachine,
includingaddingorreplacingaccessories,dismantling, deliveringorrepairing.
4.Employingconsumablesoroil mediathatarenotappointed byShini.

2. Structure Characteristics andWorkingPrinciple
2.1MainFunctions
SAL-UG series"Euro" Separate-vacuumhopperLoadersaresuitablefor
conveyingplasticgranulesoverlongdistance. Utilizinghighefficiency vacuum
blowertoproducevacuuminmaterialhopper, plasticmaterialswill then be fed
intomaterialhopperbyoutside pressure.

Afterstartup,when thereed switch(16)detected there’snomaterials,theblower
(2)startsworkingtogeneratenegative-pressurevacuuminsidethehopper(13).
Meanwhile,thedischargingplate(15)isclosed,andmaterials(14)inthestorage

hopperaredischarged intothehopper(12)viathematerialinputpipe(12)dueto
air pressuredifference.Afterthesuctioniscompleted,the materialswill drop due
tothe gravity.If there’sno materialsuckedorshortagehappensthree times,the
alarmlight (9)onthecontrolbox(10)will light uptoalarm. Duringtheblower’s(2)
suction process,the air inthe pipeentersthe filter(7)throughtherecyclerto
removethedustadhereded on the filter.When the blowerfinishesthe suction
process,thevacuumbreakingvalve(3)between the blowerandthe filterwill
producethe anti-impactair flowtoblowawaythe dustadhereded on thefilterto
the dust collectionbin(5).

3.Installation and Debugging
Thisseriesof modelsonlycouldbeappliedinworkingenvironmentwithgood
ventilation.
Read thischaptercarefullybeforeinstallationofthemachine. Install the
machine byfollowingsteps.
Powersupplyshouldbefixed byqualifiedtechnicians!

1)Put the mainbodyofthe machine at aproperplaceand connect it withpower
supply.
2)Install materialhopperontothedryerand connect it withsignalwiresfromthe
mainbody.
3)Usesteelwireconveyinghosetoconnect air suction pipe (A)on material
hopperwithair suctionpipe (D) onmainbody. Materialsuction (B)shouldbe
connectedwithmaterialsuctionprobe (B)inmaterialstoragebin.
4)Connect highpressureair pipe (C) withair supply(pressureat3~6kg/cm2).

Makesurethat thepowersupplyconformstorequired specificationsbefore
installation.SAL-UG (E)Seriesshouldbe connected with3Φ400V 50HzPower
supplyorotherspecificationsif required.
Note:Make suremainswitchisturnedoff beforeyou connect
thepower.
