The QSV-1 sun shield / visor can be
opened and closed by sliding the sun
shield / visor lever on the left side of the
shell. To open the sun shield / visor, pull
the lever down until it stops in the
position shown in the drawing. If the sun
shield / visor is not fully open, it may slip
down and close unexpectedly during
riding due to vibration or other phenome-
na and your view may be obstructed.

en faisant glisser son levier vers la
gauche de la coque. Pour ouvrir le
pare-soleil, abaissez le levier jusqu’à la
butée indiquée sur la figure. Si le
pare-soleil n’est pas ouvert au
maximum, des vibrations ou d’autres
phénomènes peuvent le faire glisser
vers le bas et se fermer inopinément
pendant que vous roulez, ce qui peut
obstruer votre visibilité.

■Removing the QSV-1 Sun
Shield / Visor
1. Lower the QSV-1 sun
shield / visor.
2. As shown in the drawing, hold
the sun shield / visor and use
your fingernail to widen the
space between the sun
shield / visor holder and the
sun shield / visor. Detach the
sun shield / visor by rotating it
in the direction shown by the
arrow.
3. Detach the other side of the
sun shield / visor using the
same method, then remove
the sun shield / visor.
■Installing the QSV-1 Sun
Shield / Visor
1. Slide the sun shield / visor
lever to the position shown in
the drawing.
2. Continue to press the lever so
that the sun shield/visor
does not move. As shown in
the drawing, insert the
rounded part at the bottom
edge of the QSV-1 sun
shield / visor into the holder’s
opening. While rotating the
shield / visor in the direction
shown by the arrow, press the
rounded part of the sun
shield / visor into the holder
until you hear it catch.
3. Follow the same installation procedure for the
other side.
4. Remove any fingerprints on the sun shield / -
visor by wiping with a soft, dry cloth.

2. Comme indiqué sur la figure,
tenez le pare-soleil et
agrandissez l’espace entre le
support du pare-soleil et ce
dernier à l’aide de votre
ongle. Détachez le pare-soleil
en le faisant pivoter dans le
sens de la flèche.
3. Détachez l’autre côté du
pare-soleil de la même
manière, puis retirez-le.
■Mise en place du
pare-soleil QSV-1
1. Faites glisser le levier du
pare-soleil jusqu’à la position
indiquée sur la figure.
2. Continuez à appuyer sur le
levier pour empêcher le
pare-soleil de bouger.
Comme indiqué sur la figure,
insérez la partie arrondie
située sur la partie inférieure
du pare-soleil QSV-1 dans
l’ouverture du support. En
faisant pivoter la visière dans
le sens de la flèche, appuyez
la partie arrondie du
pare-soleil dans le support
jusqu’à en entendre le déclic.
3. Recommencez la procédure
pour l’autre côté.
4. Essuyez le pare-soleil avec
un chiffon doux et sec pour en éliminer les
empreintes.

lower the sun shield / visor
directly with your hands. This
may damage the sun
shieldʼs/visorʼs raising and
lowering mechanism.
2. The QSV-1 sun shield / visor is
designed to provide shade only and
cannot function as an outer shield/visor. Do not
ride with the outer shield / visor open and using
only the sun shield / visor.
3. Do not use the sun shield / visor together with
sunglasses, as this will dangerously darken
your view!
4. Raise the sun shield / visor while riding at night,
through a tunnel, or any other low-light
condition.
5. Dirt and scratches on the sun shield / visor may
obstruct your view while riding and can be
dangerous! If the QSV-1 sun shield / visor gets
dirty or scratched, stop using it immediately.
Remove the sun shield / visor and clean or
replace it.
6. The QSV-1 sun shield / visor should be cleaned
with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any of the
following cleaning materials: hot water over
40℃; salt water; any acidic or alkali
detergent; benzine, thinner, gasoline, or
other organic solvents; glass cleaner; or any
cleaner containing organic solvents. If any of
these cleaners are used, the sun
shieldʼs / visorʼs chemical nature may be altered
and safety may be hindered.
7. The QSV-1 sun shield / visor has undergone
antifogging treatment, but may develop fog in
low temperatures or high humidity. Do not ride
with a sun shield / visor that is fogged. This may
obstruct your view and can be very dangerous.
If the QSV-1 sun shield/visor is fogged, open
the lower air intake and / or open the outer
shield / visor to circulate air or raise the sun
shield / visor.
8. Under certain storage conditions, humidity may
cause the outer surface of the sun shield / visor
to become white. If this happens, take a soft, dry
cloth like one for cleaning eyeglasses and wipe
the sun shield / visor to restore it to its original
condition.
9. Do not attach any stickers or tape on the QSV-1
sun shield / visor. They may obstruct your view.
10.If the sun shield / visor is not installed properly,
it may drop unexpectedly during riding and
obstruct the rider’s vision. After installing the
QSV-1 sun shield / visor, raise and lower the
shield / visor several times to confirm that the
protruding section of the sun shield / visor is fit
securely in the holder’s opening. Confirm that
there is no space between the sun shield / visor
and the holder.

2. Le pare-soleil QSV-1 est
uniquement conçu pour apporter de l’ombre et
ne saurait remplacer une visière extérieure. Ne
roulez pas avec la visière extérieure ouverte en
utilisant uniquement le pare-soleil.
3. N’utilisez pas le pare-soleil avec des lunettes de
soleil car votre visibilité serait alors trop
assombrie.
4. Relevez le pare-soleil lorsque vous roulez la
nuit, dans un tunnel ou dans des conditions
d’éclairage faible.
5. La salissure et les rayures sur le pare-soleil
peuvent obstruer votre visibilité lorsque vous
roulez, ce qui peut être dangereux. Cessez
immédiatement d’utiliser le pare-soleil QSV-1
s’il est sale ou rayé. Retirez le pare-soleil et
nettoyez-le ou remplacez-le.
6. Nettoyez le pare-soleil QSV-1 avec un chiffon
doux et sec. N’utilisez pas les substances
suivantes: eau chaude dépassant 40°C, eau
salée, détergeant à base d’acide ou d’alcali,
benzène, diluant, essence ou autres
solvants organiques, nettoyant pour vitres
ou autres nettoyants à base de solvants
organiques. Utiliser l’un de ces nettoyants peut
modifier la nature chimique du pare-soleil et en
entraver la sécurité.
7. Bien que la visière pare-soleil QSV-1 ait été
soumise à un traitement antibuée, de la buée
peut s’y former à basse température ou en
présence d’un taux d’humidité élevé. Ne roulez
pas avec une visière pare-soleil embuée. Cela
peut obstruer votre visibilité et être très
dangereux. Si la visière pare-soleil QSV-1 est
embuée, ouvrez la prise d’air inférieure et / ou la
visière extérieure pour faire circuler l’air ou
relevez la visière pare-soleil.
8. Dans certaines conditions de stockage,
l’humidité peut faire blanchir la surface
extérieure du pare-soleil. Si c’est le cas, utilisez
un chiffon doux et sec comme ceux que l’on
utilise pour nettoyer les lunettes et essuyez le
pare-soleil pour lui redonner son aspect
d’origine.
9. Ne collez aucun autocollant ou ruban adhésif
sur le pare-soleil QSV-1. Ils peuvent obstruer
votre visibilité.
10.Si le pare-soleil n’est pas installé correctement,
il peut retomber inopinément pendant que vous
roulez et obstruer votre visibilité. Une fois le
pare-soleil QSV-1 installé, levez et abaissez la
visière plusieurs fois pour vous assurer que la
partie en saillie du pare-soleil est bien en place
dans l’ouverture du support. Contrôlez qu’il n’y
a aucun espace entre le pare-soleil et son
support.
