Thank you for purchasing this SHOEI helmet. Please read this
manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference. This
manual contains valuable information to help you understand the
functions of the product and the instructions for use in order for you
to enjoy a safety and comfortable motorcycle life. Your SHOEI dealer
can provide a replacement if it is lost.

CWR-Fティアオフボタンは、レースの際に使用す
るCWF-1ティアオフフィルム（オプション）を装着
するためのパーツです。
CWR-Fティアオフボタンが破損した場合は、オプ
ションのCWR-Fティアオフボタンに交換できます。
CWF-1ティアオフフィルム（オプション）を使用さ
れ る 場 合 、テ ィ ア オ フ フ ィ ル ム を 取 り 付 け る 前 に 、テ
ィアオフボタンの調整が必要です。調整の仕方やフ
ィルムの貼り方については、CWF-1ティアオフフィ
ルムに同梱の取扱説明書をご参照ください。

ティアオフボタン本体の矢印と反対の向き（時
計回り）には回さないでください。

シールドと窓ゴムの密着性を保つため、点線で示し
た位置に、付属のシリコンオイルを少量塗布してく
ださい。シリコンオイルは、ごみやほこりをふき取っ
てから塗 布してください 。

For better sealing of the shield / visor, apply
the enclosed silicone oil on the window
beading. First, remove any dirt or dust, then
apply a small amount of
oil to the designated
part as per drawing.
Wipe away any excess
oil. If silicone oil stains
the shield / visor, it may
obstruct your view.
Check for adequate
lubrication regularly.

Breath Guard
・ヘ ル メ ッ ト を 持 ち 運 ぶ と き な ど に 、ブ レ ス ガ ー ド を
持たないでください。パーツが外れ、ヘルメットが
落下して破損する可能性があります。
・ Do not carry or hold the helmet by the breath
guard. The breath guard may come off,
causing the helmet to drop.
ブレスガード／Breath Guard
シリコンオイルの使用方法／Applying Silicone Oil
ブレスガードは呼吸によるシールドの曇りを軽減し
ます。ブレスガードを装着する際は、下記の方法
で取り付けます。
■ ブ レ ス ガ ード の 取 り 付 け 方
図のように、ブレスガードをデフロスターと衝撃吸
収ライナーの隙間に入れ、上から押し込みます。
取り付け後、ブレスガードがしっかり固定されてい
るか確認してください。
■ ブ レ ス ガ ード の 取 り 外し 方
デフロスターと衝撃吸収ライナーの隙間から、ブレ
ス ガ ード を 引 き 抜 き ま す 。
The breath guard reduces fogging of the
shield / visor caused by breathing.
To install the breath guard, use the following
procedure.
Installing the Breath Guard
As shown in the drawing, firmly insert the breath
guard in the space between the defogger
ventilation and the impact absorbing liner.
Removing the Breath Guard
Pull the breath guard from the space between
the defogger ventilation and the impact
absorbing liner.

Defogger Ventilation
CWR-F Tear-off Button is used to equip CWF-1
Tear-off Film (optional) for races.
When damaged, it may be replaced with optional
CWR-F Tear-off Button.
When using CWF-1 Tear-off Film (optional),
adjustment of Tear-off Button is required before
fixing Tear-off Film. Manual enclosed in CWF-1
Tea-off Film exlplains how to adjust or how to
affix.

Keep in mind that sounds of cars or
motocycles arond you may not be heard loud
enough when chin curtain is equipped.
ロアエアスポイラーは、整流効果を高めます。
■ロアエアスポイラーの取り付け方
ロアエアスポイラーは図のとおり、シェルと衝撃吸
収ライナーの間にしっかり差し込み、取り付けます。
■ロアエアスポイラーの取り外し方
取 り 外 し は 、先 に ロアエアスポイラーの 両 サ イド の
プレートを引き抜き、中央部分を抜き取ります。
Lower Air Spoiler enhances air stream.
How to Fix Lower Air Spoiler
Insert Lower Air Spoiler into a gap between a
shell and an impact absorption liner firmly as per
drawing.
How to Remove Lower Air Spoiler
Pull out plates of both sides of spoiler at first,
and then, center portion.
Chin curtain restrains roll-in of wind and invasion
of wind noise from chin area. Fix or remove it as
below;
How to Fix Chin Curtain
Align center of plate to center of fore end of
helmet and insert it at first, and then, plates of
both sides into a gap between a shell and an
impact absorption liner.
How to Remove Chin Curtain
Pull out plate of center area of chin curtain at
first, and then, both sides.

チンカーテンは、ヘルメットのあご周りの巻き込
みおよび風切り音の進入を低減します。以下の
方法で、取り付け取り外しを行います。
■チンカーテンの取り付け方
取り付けはまずプレートの中央とヘルメット先端部
中央を合わせ、シェルと衝撃吸収ライナーの隙間
（A）に差し込んだ後、両サイドのプレートを差し込
んで いきます。
■チンカーテンの取り外し方
取り外しは、先にチンカーテンの中央部分のプレー
トを引き起こして抜き、両サイドを抜き取ります。
*チンカーテンを装着後、ロアエアスポイラーを
同時に装着することも可能です。

ご注意／WARNING
チンカーテンを装着すると、周りの車やバイクの音
が通常より小さく聞こえるので、運転時は特に注意
してください。
・ヘ ル メ ット を 持 ち 運 ぶ と き な ど に 、ロ ア エ ア ス
ポイラーやチンカーテンを持たないでくださ
い。パーツが外れ、ヘルメットが落下して破損
する可能性があります。
・ロアエアスポイラーを装着したまま、長時間ヘ
ルメットを平置きにしないでください。ロアエア
スポイラーが変形する恐れがあります。
・Don’t hold Lower Air Spoiler or chin curtain
when you carry helmet. These parts may
come off and helmet may be dropped and
damaged.
・Don’t place helmet equipped with Lower Air
Spoiler flat long time. Lower Air Spoiler may
be deformed.

■ シールドの取り外し方
1. シールドを全開の状態にします（図1）。
2.トリガ ー を 下 に 引 きな が ら 、シ ー ル ド を 手 前 に 持 ち 上 げ
フック（A）（B）を外したのち（図2）、フック（C）を矢印
方向に外して取ります（図3）。
3. 反対側も同じ要領で取り外します 。
■Removing the CWR-1 Shield / Visor
1. Open a shield / visor to fully opened position as
per Drawing 1.
2. Lift a shield / visor pulling a trigger down and
release hooks (A) and (B) as per Drawing 2. Then,
remove a shield / visor moving hook(C) to an
arrowed direction as per Drawing 3.
3. Do in the same manner for the other side.
CWR-Fシールドを完全に下ろすと、シールドノブがフッ
クにかかります。レバーA部分（図参照）を上にスライドさ
せ、シールドをさらにロックさせます。走行時は、このポジ
ションにすることを推奨します。レバーAを上にあげたま
まの状態でのシールドの開閉はしないでください。
When you close CWR-F shield / visor, shield/visor
tab is hooked. Slide lever A (See drawing) upward
and lock a shield further. It is recommended to keep
locked in this position while riding. Pull down lever A
when opening or closing a shield/visor.

■シールドの取り付け方
1. シールドを全開状態の位置に合わせ、フック（C）を差
し込みます（図4）。
2. シールドの矢印付近（図5）を上からカチッとロックさ
れるまで押し、フック（A）（B）をしっかりと図の位置
にはめ込みます（図6）。
3. シールドを数回開閉して、シールドのフック（A）
（B）（C）すべてが確実にはまっているか確認してく
ださい。
4. 反対側も同じ要領で取り付けます。
■Installing the CWR-1 Shield / Visor
1. Adjust a shield / visor to fully opened position and
insert shield / visor hook (C) as per Drawing 4.
2. Press an arrowed area of a shield / visor indicated
in Drawing 5 until it clicks. Then, insert hooks (A)
and (B) securely into positions indicated in
Drawing 6.
3. Open and close a shield / visor a few times and
make sure that all the hooks (A), (B), and (C) are
fixed securely.
4. Do in the same manner for the other side.
ご注意 WARNING
フック や ギ ア が シ ー ルド ベ ー ス に はまって い
ないと、走行中にシールドが外れ、思わぬ事故
を引き起こす可能性があります。取り付け後
は、CWR-Fシールドの開閉操作を数回繰り返
し 、フ ッ ク や ギ ア が 確 実にはまって いるか確認し
てください（図6）。また、シールドを完全に下ろ
した状態で 、シ ー ル ド ノブ が フックに 掛 か るか
確 認してください。
If the hook and gear are not securely
fastened in the shield / visor base, the
shield / visor may come loose while riding
and an accident may unexpectedly occur.
After installing the CWR-F Shield / Visor,
open and close the shield / visor a few times
to confirm that the hook and gear fit
securely. With the shield / visor completely
closed, confirm that the shield / visor tab is
clasped by the hook.
シールドは保 護フィルムを外してから、使 用してく
ださい。
Before using the shield / visor for the first time
after purchase, remove the protective film from
the shield / visor.

1. Dirt and scratches on the shield / visor may
obstruct your view while riding and can be
very dangerous! If the CWR-F shield / visor
gets dirty or scratched, stop using it
immediately. Remove the shield / visor and
clean or replace it.
2. The CWR-F shield / visor should be cleaned
with a solution of mild, neutral soap and
water. Rinse well with pure water then wipe
dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any of the
following cleaning materials: hot water
over 40°C; salt water; any acidic or alkali
detergent; benzine, thinner, gasoline, or
other organic solvents; glass cleaner; or
any cleaner containing organic solvents.
If any of these cleaners are used, the
shield’s / visor’s chemical nature may be
altered and safety may be hindered.
3. Do not ride with a shield / visor that is
fogged. This may obstruct your view and
can be very dangerous. If the CWR-F
shield / visor is fogged, open the lower air
intake and / or open the shield / visor to
circulate air within the helmet and remove
the fog from the shield / visor. Use of the
PINLOCK® EVO lens is also effective in
stopping fog.
4. Always use SHOEI’s genuine PINLOCK®
EVO lens for CWR-F. For fitting PINLOCK®
EVO lens, please read instructions
enclosed in it.
5. Remove the protective film before using the
shield / visor for the first time.
6. After cleaning or replacing the base plates,
close the shield / visor and make sure that it
touches the window beading in all around.
If there is a gap between the shield / visor
and the window beading, adjust a position
of the base plate and eliminate the gap,
because it may cause roll-in of wind or
noise.
7. For tightening screws, apply No.2 size
Phillips head screwdriver vertically and
rotate it carefully. If improper sized
screwdriver or electric screwdriver is used,
a screw head may be broken. Use a
genuine screw made of aluminum for
replacement. If a screw is
tightened too much, it may
be broken. (Recommended
torque: 80 cN.m or about 8
kgf.cm)
8. Do not place any sticker or
tape in the shield’s / visor’s
field of vision.
シールドの取り扱い上のご注意
Important Notice about Handling the CWR-F Shield / Visor

1. シールドの汚れや傷は走行中の視界の妨げとな
り、大変危険です。シールドが汚れたり傷が付い
た り し た ら 、直 ち に 使 用 を 中 止 し 、取 り 外 し て 洗
浄するか、交換してください。
2. シールドは、水で薄めた中性洗剤で洗い、真水
でよくすすいでから柔らかい布でふき取り、乾
かし てください 。40℃を超える湯・塩水・酸性ま
たはアルカリ性の洗剤・ベンジン・シンナー・ガ
ソリン・その他の有機溶剤・ガラスクリーナー
等、有機溶剤を含むクリーナー類は使用しない
でくだ さい 。これらが付着すると、シールドが変
質し、安全性に支障をきたす可能性があります。
3. シールドが曇った状態で走行しないでください。
視界が妨げられ大変危険です。シールドが曇っ
た場合、ロアエアインテークを開けたり、シール
ドを開けたりしてヘルメット内をよく換気し、シー
ルドの曇りを取り除 いてください。また、
PINLOCK®EVOlensの使用も、シ ー ル ド の 曇
り防止に効果的です。
4. PINLOCK®EVO lensをご使用の場合は、必
ず純正品をご使用ください。取り扱い方法につ
いては、PINLOCK®EVO lensに同梱されて
いる取扱説明書をご覧ください。
5. シールドは、保護フィルムをはがして使用してく
ださい。
6. シールドベースをクリーニングしたり、あるいは
シールドベースを交換した場合、シールドを閉
めてシールドと窓ゴムの密着を確認してくださ
い。隙間がある場合、風の巻き込みや風切り音
の原因となるため、シールドが窓ゴムに密着す
るようシー ルドベースの 位 置を調 整してくださ
い。
7.スクリューの締め付けなどを行う際は、ビットサ
イズ「No.2」のプラスドライバーを垂直に当
て、ていねいに回してください。サイズの合わ
ないドライバーや電動ドライバーを使用した
り、スクリューをななめに締め付けたりすると、
ネジ頭を破損する場合がありますので、十分注
意して回してください。スクリューを交換する場
合は、必ず純正部品（アルミニウム製）をご使用
ください。スクリューを強く締めすぎると、スク
リューが破損する場合がありますのでご注意く
ださい。（推奨締め付けトルク：
80cN・m/約8kgf・cm）
8. シールドの視界に入る位置に、
ス テッカー や 粘 着 テ ープを 貼ら
な い で くださ い 。
When there happens a gap between a
shield / visor and a window beading, rotate a dial
of QR-E base as per drawing. QR-E base is fine
tuned front and rear and a gap can be adjusted.
Dials are located in both sides and can be
adjusted in 4 steps using a flat head screwdriver
*Don’t rotate a dial out of positions from 0 to 4.
*If a shield/visor is adjusted too tight, a window
beading may be deteriorated. Make adjustment
watching a condition of a gap carefully.

ご 使 用 の 過 程 で 、シ ー ル ド を 閉 め て も 、シ ー ル ド と
窓ゴムの間に隙間ができた場合は、図のようにシー
ルド ベ ー ス のダ イヤ ル を 回 す こ とで 、シ ー ルド ベ ー
スを前後に調整することができ、シールドと窓ゴム
との間隔を詰めることができます。ダイヤルは左右
にあり、それぞれ4段階に調整が出来ます。
*ダイヤルは0〜4の位置以外に回さないでくだ
さい。
*調整がきつすぎた状態のままにすると、窓ゴムが
劣化することがあります。シールドの隙間を見なが
ら調整してください。ダイヤルで調整しきれない場
合は、スクリューを緩めシールドベースを動かして
調整してください。

・The same cheek pads can be used with all
helmet sizes. For the M size helmet example,
choose cheek pad size 31 if you want a looser
fit and size 39 for a firmer fit (both are optional
parts).
・Center pads will vary by model size. Confirm
the size of your helmet prior to making a
purchase.

The center pad, the right and left cheek pads
and chinstrap covers, and the ear pads can be
removed for washing. You can also adjust the fit
of your helmet by switching to the optional
pads. Look at the list and drawing of interior
parts and check whether the parts are installed
or removed. Be sure to always fix the center
pad, cheek pads, and chinstrap covers prior to
riding.
If necessary, use the following table to order the
proper interior parts to adjust the fit of your
helmet.

内装の交換について／Replacing Interior Parts
セ ン タ ー パ ッド
Center Pad
当製品はセンターパッド、チークパッド（左右）、チン
ストラップカバー（左右）、イヤーパッド（左右）を取
り 外 し て 洗 う こ と が で き ま す 。ま た 、オ プ シ ョ ン パ ッ ド
と交換することで、かぶり心地を調整することがで
きます。内装の名称と図を参照して、着脱を確実に
行 っ て く だ さ い 。セ ン タ ー パ ッド 、チ ー ク パ ッド 、チ ン
ストラップカバーは、必ずすべて装着してご使用く
ださい。
内装を交換する場合は、下記表を参照のうえ、正し
いサイズのものをお求めください。

・チークパッドは全サイズ共用パーツです。例え
ば、Mサイズで頬部を緩くしたい場合はチーク
パッド31、きつくしたい場合はチークパッド39

認してください 。

PINLOCK®*EVOlensをご使用の場合は、
PINLOCK®EVOlensに同梱されている取扱説
明書をご覧ください。
・クリ ア 以 外 の シ ー ルド に PINLOCK®EVO
lensを装着した状態で、夜間走行はしないで
くださ い 。
・ PINLOCK®EVOlensは 、シ ー ル ド よ り も 傷
つきやすい材質でできているので、取り扱い
には十分注意してください。
・ PINLOCK®EVOlensは 、保 護 フ ィ ル ム を は
がして使用してください。
・ PINLOCK®EVOlensは 、シ ー ト 自 体 が 湿 気
を吸収することにより高い曇り止め効果を発
揮します。しかし、低温多湿などの曇りやすい
条件下でヘルメット内が密閉された状態が続
くと、水蒸気でシートが飽和状態となり、にじ
みや曇りが発生することがあります。にじみ
や曇りが発生すると、視界が妨げられ大変危
険ですので、ロアエアインテークを開けたり、
シールドを開けたりしてヘルメット内をよく換
気し、にじみや曇りを取り除 いてください。
・ CWR-FのPINLOCK®EVOlensを交換さ
れる場合は、DKS303をご購入ください。
・
Do not use PINLOCK®EVO lens with a
tinted shield / visor at night.
・The PINLOCK®EVOlens is made of a
material that is easier to scratch than the
outer shield / visor. It should be treated with
great care.
・Remove the protective film before using
the PINLOCK®EVO lens.
・The PINLOCK®EVOlens demonstrates
high effectiveness in stopping fog by
absorbing moisture. However, if the helmet

high-humidity conditions, the lens can
become saturated with water vapor
causing streaks and fog to appear. If
streaks or fog appears, it may obstruct
your view and be very dangerous! In this
case, open the lower air intake and / or
open the shield/visor to circulate air within
the helmet to remove the streaks and fog
from the helmet.

4. チンストラップカバーの取り外し

チークパッド を 取 り 外 し て か ら チ ン スト
ラップカバーのホックを外し、チンスト
ラップから引き抜きます（図7）。反対側
も、同じ要 領で 取り外します。
2. Removing the Ear Pads
Unfasten the 4 clasps on the plate from
the cheek pad base (Drawing 4). Remove
the ear pad. Remove the other ear pad in
the same manner.
3. Removing the Center Pad
Remove the center pad by unsnapping 2
points at the rear of the helmet first.
(Drawing 5).
Pull the front portion of the center pad from
the holding plate as per Drawing 6.
4. Removing the Chinstrap Covers
Remove the cheek pad then unfasten the
chinstrap cover snap. Remove the cover
from the chinstrap (Drawing 7). Remove
the other chinstrap cover in the same
manner.

内装の取り外し方／Removing Interior Parts
1. チークパッドの取り外し
チンカーテン/ロアエアスポイラーを装着
している場合は、まずチンカーテン/ロア
エアスポイラーを取り外します。
チークパッドベースから引き剥がすように
ホック を 3か所外し（図１）、前部チークパッ
ドブラケット（ A）からプレ ート（a）部分を引
き抜きます（図2）。次に後部チ ー ク パ ッド
ブラケット（B）からプ レ ート（b）部分を引き
抜 き ま す（ 図 3 ）。プレート（b）部分を引き抜
く際は、強く引かずていねいに引き抜いて
ください。必ずプレート（a）部分から外して
ください。プレート（a）部分を取り付けた状
態でプレート（b）部分を真上に引き抜くと、
プレートを破損する可能性がありますので、
ご注意ください。
1. Removing the Cheek Pads
When the chin curtain and/or the lower
air spoiler is installed, remove it first.
Unfasten the 3 snaps to remove the pad
from the cheek pad base (Drawing 1). Pull
the notch (a) from the cheek pad bracket
(A) as shown in the Drawing 2.
Next, pull the notch (b) from the cheek pad
bracket (B) as shown in the Drawing 3. Do
not pull it hard. Be sure to pull the front
notch (a) out first. If you pull out the
rear notch (b) before pulling out notch
(a), the plate may be damaged.

イヤーパッドは、ヘルメット内への風の巻き込みに
起因する騒音を低減します。
イヤーパッドは取り外しが可能です。取り外し方、
取り付け方は、「内装の取り外し方」および「内装
の取り付け方」をご覧ください。
・ イヤーパッドを装着すると、周りの車やバイ
クの音が通常より小さく聞こえるので、運転
時は特に注意してください。

The ear pads are designed to reduce wind noise.

rear, neck and top pads. Fitting may be
adjusted by replacing each pad with

頭の横の部分がきつい場合、例えばMサイズ
では、オプションのS5のサイドパッドに交換す
ることでゆるめに調整することができます。

イヤーパッドの左右を確認し、取り付け
るときは、図12の点線部分に合わせるよ
う に か ぶ せ 、4 か 所 の 爪 部 分 を 、そ れ ぞ
れチークパッドベースの切り欠き部分と
合わせ、パッドの上から押さえはめます。
反対側も、同じ要領で取り付けます。
3．Fixing of Ear Pad
Check right and left sides of ear pads and place it
adjusting to dotted line of drawing 12. Then, adjust 4
catches to cuts of cheek pad base and press pad. Do
in the same manner for other side.
4．チークパッドの取り付け
チークパッドをヘルメットへ装着する前に、ホッ
クA、Bが標準ポジションもしくはレーシングポ
ジションの位置になっているか、また、ホックC
が図の位置になっているかも確認してください

1．チンストラップカバーの取り付け
チンストラップカバーは左右で形状
が異なります。取り付けの際は、図
を参照し、左右を確かめてからチン
ス ト ラ ッ プ に 通 し 、カ チ ッ と 音 が す る
までホックをはめ込みます（図8）。
2．センターパッドの取り付け
前部プレートは、片側（図9参照）か
ら反対側にかけてブラケットの隙間
（図10矢印部分参照）にすべらせるように
入れます。次に後頭部の2か所のホックをカ
チッと音がするまではめます（図11）。

The chinstrap covers have different
shapes on the right and left sides of the
helmet. Pass the chinstrap through a
chinstrap cover and snap each other
until you hear it clicks (Drawing 8).
2.Installing the Center Pad
Slide and insert front plate into a gap of
bracket from one side to another as
indicated in Drawing 9 and 10.
Snap the two snaps into place
in the rear of the center pad
as per Drawing 11.

1. When fastening or unfastening the snaps,
you should hold near the snaps and treat
carefully. Fasten the snaps firmily until
they click in place.
2. You can clean the inner parts by hand
washing them or by washing them in a
washing machine after placing them in a
laundry net. Please treat them carefully
when washing. Use lukewarm water.
Gently squeeze the parts with a dry towel
and dry them in the shade. To prevent
damage to the plastic areas of the interior
parts, do not wring them strongly and do
not fold or bend the plastic areas. Take
special care if you are using a washing
machine. Do not dry the interior parts with
a clothes dryer, blow dryer, or any other
type of mechanical dryer, as heat can
damage the material. The impact
absorbing liner (polystyrene foam
section) should be wet with a soft cloth
dipped in a solution of mild neutral soap
and water and then wiped. Allow time for
the impact absorbing liner to dry in the
shade. Do not dry the impact absorbing
liner in the sunlight or use any type of
mechanical dryer, as the impact
absorbing liner is extremely sensitive to
heat. If the impact absorbing liner is
exposed to high heat of any kind, contact
your dealer or SHOEI directly for a safety
evaluation. To prevent damage, do not
use any of the following cleaning
materials: hot water over 40°C; salt
water; any acidic or alkali detergent;
benzine, thinner, gasoline, or other
organic solvents; glass cleaner; or
any cleaner containing organic
solvents.
3. When washing center pad, put it in
washing net in an assembled position of
all parts (front, rear, side, top and neck
pads). When each pad is disassembled
and washed separately, flat fastener may
be damaged.

を使用し、乾いた布で水をふき取ってから陰干
ししてください。内装パーツのプラスチック部
分を破損する恐れがありますので、強くしぼっ
たり、プラスチック部 分を折り曲げたりしない で
ください。脱水機を使用する場合は、十分ご注
意ください。衝撃吸収ライナー（発泡スチロー
ル部分）は、柔らかい布を水または水で薄めた
中性洗剤で湿らせてふいてください。パーツを
破損する恐れがありますので、40℃を超える
湯・塩 水・酸 性 ま た は ア ル カ リ 性 の 洗 剤・ベ ン ジ
ン・シンナー・ガソリン・その他の有機溶剤・ガラ
スクリーナー等、有機溶剤を含むクリーナー類
は使用しないでください。
3. センター パッドを洗濯する際は、各 パッド（フロ
ント、リア、サイド、トップ、ネックパッド）は全て
組みつけた状態で、ネットに入れて洗濯してく
ださい。各パッドを取り外して洗った場合、面
ファスナーの部分が傷つく恐れがあります。

取 り 付 け る と き は 、チ ー ク パ ッド の 左 右 を
確認してください。プレート後端部の(b)部
分をチークパッドブラケット(B)のボスに差
し込みます（図14）。次 に 、プ レ ー ト 後 端 か
ら 前 方 に 向 か っ て 差 し 込 ん で い き 、プ レ ー
ト(a)部分をチークパッドブラケット(A)の
ボスに差し込みます（図15）。プレートを
差し込んだあと、図16のようにチンスト
ラップをチークパッドのくぼみに通し、❶
→❷→❸の順にホックをはめ込みます。
ホック は 、パッド 側 から ホック の 上 部 分 を
強く押し、カチッと音 が するまでは め 込 み
ます。最後に、図17のようにパッドの角部
分(A)を押し、チークパッドのプレートを
チークパッドベースの突起部にはめ込み
ます。反対側のチークパッドも、同じ要領
で取り付けます。
Identify a right pad and a left pad. Insert
a groove (b) of a rear portion of plate into
a boss of a cheek pad bracket (B) as per
Drawing 14. Then, do frontward and
insert a groove (a) of a plate into a cheek
pad bracket (A) as per Drawing 15. Make
sure to insert a plate deeply.
After the plate is inserted, pass the
chinstrap through the hollow section of
the cheek pad (Drawing 16). Fasten the
snaps in ❶to ❸order, by pressing the
head of the snaps firmly from the pad
side until they click in place. Lastly, press
the corner (A) of the pad as shown in the
Drawing 17 and fit the cheek pad plate
securely into the boss of the cheek pad
base. Install the other cheek pad in the
same manner.

・ 走行中に付着した虫による汚れは、放置する
と塗装面を浸食し、完全に除去できなくなりま
すので、すみやかに取り除いてください。
・ シールドや内装を交換する際は、必ず純正部
品を使用してください。
・ If insects become stuck to the helmet during
riding and are left in place, the helmet
surface may be corroded. They should be
removed promptly.
・ Be sure to use SHOEI genuine parts when
replacing the outer shield / visor or inner
parts.
E.Q.R.S.（エマージェンシークイックリリースシ
ステム）とは、万が一の事故の際、ヘルメットから
チークパッドを引き抜くことで、救護者がライダー
の頸部への負担を最小限に抑えつつ、容易にヘル
メット を 取 り 外 す こ と が できるシステムです。
緊急時にチークパッドを外すには、最初にチンスト
ラップをほどくか切断し、ライダーの頭部が動かな
いようにヘ ル メット を押さえ、赤いタブ部分（図1）
を持ち、図2で示された方向にエマージェンシータブを引っ張りま
す。（※チンカーテン、ロアエアスポイラーが装着されている場合
は、エマージェンシータブを引き出すまえに取り外してく だ さ い 。）
エマージェンシータブを引っ張ることでチークパッドのホックが外
れ、ライダーがヘルメットを被った状態のまま、ヘルメット下部から
パッドを引き抜くことができます。反対側のチークパッドも同じよう
に外します。
チークパッドを外すときは、必ずヘルメットをしっかりと押さえ、ライ
ダーの頭部を動かさないよう注意してください。
E.Q.R.S. (Emergency Quick Release System) is a mechanism
for emergency personnel to remove the cheek pads.
To remove a cheek pad in an emergency, cut or undo a
chinstrap first. While holding the helmet firmly so that the
rider’s head may not move, take emergency strip (Drawing 1)
and pull it to a direction indicated in the Drawing 2. (If chin
curtain and / or Lower Air Spoiler is equipped, it must be
removed before using the emergency strip.)
Pulling the emergency strip will release snaps and allow a
cheek pad to be pulled out through the bottom of the helmet
while it is still on the rider’s head. Repeat the same procedure
to remove the other side.
Be sure to hold the helmet firmly and pay full attention not to
move the rider’s head while removing the cheek pads.
