ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The following tools will be needed to assemble your hoist. You may use Air, Battery, Electric, or
Hand tools to complete the hoist assembly.
Sockets or open/box end wrenches; 9/16” and 3/4”
A soft headed Hammer
Tapered Alignment Punch
Tape Measure
Remove all hardware items and parts from the hardware box and sort by size. Break all bundles
containing the hoist parts and sort by item
With all the components sorted start the
assembly by inserting the leg weldment into
the corner post weldment (see page 3 for
information detailing winch post and corner
post) and secure with the pin with the square
spring retainer. Continue this process on the
remaining corner post weldments and also the
winch post weldment.

With the entire corner assembly together position the winch post and a corner post (see page 3 for
information detailing winch post and corner post) as shown in the drawing below and insert a lower
frame member. The lower frame tubes are universal so this should eliminate some confusion. Align the
holes in the tube with those in the bracket welded to the winch post and insert a 1/2 X 4 hex bolt into
the hole farthest from the post and secure with a flange lock nut. On the other end mount to the corner
post using two (2) 1/2 X 4 hex bolts in the two (2) holes farthest from the leg and secure with flange
lock nuts. The other holes will be used for securing cables as the assembly progresses. Do not tighten
at this time.

Stand the assembly up and insert lower frame tubes in the brackets and secure in the first and third
holes with 1/2 X 4 hex bolts and secure with flange lock nuts

The other corner posts will be assembled by sliding them over the lower frame tube and securing in the
first and third holes from the post. Once these are attached insert the last frame tube and secure the
same way.
Make sure the frame is square and tighten all hardware.

Assemble the short braces by putting the bushing into the cap and then insert the cap into the end of
the tube so the bushing aligns with the hole in the tube. Repeat this process on the other end and on
the other brace tubes.
With the braces assembled,
place a washer on a 3/8 X 1 3/4
hex bolt and insert in the hole in
the brace tube thru the bushing
out the other side and thread
into the insert nut on the winch
post this will determine the
location for the remaining short
braces. Swing the brace tube
over and place a washer on a
3/8 X 3 3/4 hex bolt and insert
into the hole in the brace tube
thru the bushing and thru the
hole in the lower frame closest to
the post, secure with a flange
lock nut. Repeat this process on
the other short braces.

Assemble the long brace tubes the same way as the short ones. Place a 3/8 flat washer on a 3/8 X 3
3/4 hex bolt and insert in the hole on the winch post from the inside of the hoist out. Add a 2” aluminum
washer to the bolt and then place the brace tube over the bolt and secure with a flange lock nut. Attach
the other end of the brace tube by placing a flat washer over a 3/8 X 3 3/4 hex bolt insert into the brace
tube and out the other side. Apply a 2” aluminum washer and insert thru the lower frame tube in the
second hole away from the winch post and secure with
a flange lock nut.
On the other post place the
channel bracket and align
holes with holes in the top of
the post so the channel is
aligned with the winch post, in
the top hole insert a 3/8 X 2 3/4
carriage bolt from the inside of the hoist out and secure with a flange locknut. In the lower hole insert a
3/8 X 4 carriage bolt from the inside out slide the brace tube over the bolt and secure with flange lock
nut. Place a flat washer on a 3/8 X 3 3/4 hex bolt and insert into the bottom of the brace tube add a 2”
aluminum washer and thru the second hole away from the corner post in the lower frame tube and
secure with a flange lock nut.

On the corner posts opposite the winch, slide the channel bracket for spacer tube over the top of the
posts aligning the holes and insert a 3/8 X 2 3/4 carriage bolts from the inside out and secure with
flange lock nuts. Slide the spacer tube into the channel bracket and align the holes in the bracket with
those in the tube insert 3/8 X 2 3/4” carriage bolts from the inside of the hoist out and secure with flange
lock nuts.
At this time you will tighten all the bolts for the braces and brackets just installed.

Place the front and rear platform tube assemblies on the lower frame so the cotter keyed end of the
pulley pins are to the inside of the lift and the end with the cable coming out the bottom will be to the
winch side of the lift. Insert a 3/8 X 1 1/4 carriage bolt into the corner guide and slide into the top slot
on the outside of the platform tube assembly and secure with a flat washer and flange lock nut. Repeat
for the other three corners. Do not tighten at this time.
Insert 3/8” X 1” carriage bolts in the slots
on the inside of both the front and rear
platform tubes and slide them inside the
exposed end of the pulley pin. Mount the
platform support channel over the bolts
and secure with hex flange locknuts.
