Answering a call
Pick up the Handset
If connected to a Headset –Press the Select Key
Blind Transfer a Call
When on a call, press “Transfer” key
Enter the number to transfer to
Press the “Select” key
Transfer an Announced Call
When on a call, press “Hold” key
Enter the number to transfer to
Press the “Select” key
Announce the call to the person you are
transferring to
If they wish to take the call press the “Transfer”
Key twice
If they wish to not take the call you can retrieve
the call by pressing Cancel Key to end your call &
pressing the “Line” key to retrieve the original
caller
Placing a call on Hold
When on a call, press “Hold” key
Whilst on Hold the other party will hear Music on
Hold
Pressing the Hold Key again will resume the call
If more than one call is in progress/on Hold, you
can choose which call to take off hold by pressing
the relevant line key

Voicemail
Dial 1571 or press the envelope icon
Enter your voicemail pin (you will be asked to
change this on your first login)
Follow the automated instructions to listen to
voicemails or record greetings
When you first login, you will be asked to record
your name only - you will then need to go back
and record greetings
Greetings for when you are busy or unavailable
are separate –please remember to record both
The number you should dial to access your
voicemail box externally is included on your
Service Guide (available from your centre
manager)
To access your company main line voicemail box
from your handset, dial 1571 as normal, but then
choose * and enter the extension number of your
main line.
Number Presentation
Your number will be shown on outbound calls as
default
To hide your number, press *31
To display your number, press #31
The option you choose will apply to all further
calls, you do not need to press before each call
If you wish to change the Outbound CLI Display
from your handset DDI to your Main Line number

Changing Ring Tone
Press ”Settings”
Select “Preferences”
Scroll down on the Direction Pad to “Ringer"
Press Select to choose Line 1
Scroll to the preferred ring tone choice
Once chosen press the “Select” key
Press the “Cancel” Key to return to the Main Menu
