RemovingtheCable
1.Movethemachinetoalevelsurfaceandshutoffthe
engine.
2.Raisethemachineupofftheshopoorandsupport
itwithasuitableliftorjackstands.
WARNING
Mechanicalorhydraulicjacksmayfailto
supportthemachineandcauseseriousinjury.
Usejackstandswhensupportingthemachine.
3.Removetheretainingringsecuringthecableendtothe
postontheparking-brakelever,andremovethecable
endfromthepost(Figure1).

securingthecableclamptotheframeofthe

1.Routethecablealongthesamepathastheoriginal
cable.
2.Usethecableclamppreviouslyremovedtosecurethe
cabletotheframeofthemachine.
Note:Securethecableclampwiththelocknut,the
bolt,andthewasherspreviouslyremoved.
3.Installtheparking-brakeendofthedriverollertothe
machine.
4.Tightenthefastenerssecuringthedriverolleronthe
driveendoftheroller.
5.Installtheretainingringonthecablehousingtosecure
ittothemachineframe(Figure4).
6.Installtheexistingbolt,nut,washers,andbushingto
securetheothercableendtotheparking-brakepivot
underthemachine(Figure4).
7.Removethetopnutonthettingnearthe
parking-brakelever(Figure2).
8.Passthecablethroughtheslotintheparking-brake
bracket,andslidethettingupwardintoposition
(Figure2).
9.Installandtightenthetopnutonthettingtosecure
thettingtothebracket(Figure2).
10.Installthebushingoverthepostontheparking-brake
lever(Figure5).
