WARNING
Batteryterminalsormetaltoolscouldshort
againstmetalcomponents,causingsparks.
•Whenremovingorinstallingthebattery,
donotallowthebatteryterminalstotouch
anymetalpartsofthemachine.
•Donotallowmetaltoolstoshortbetween
thebatteryterminalsandmetalpartsofthe
machine.
•Alwayskeepthebatterystrapinplaceto
protectandsecurethebattery.
WARNING
Electricalsparkscancausethebatterygasses
toexplode,resultinginpersonalinjury.
Incorrectbatterycableroutingcoulddamage
themachineandcables,causingsparks.
•Alwaysdisconnectthenegative(black)
batterycablebeforedisconnectingthe
positive(red)cable.
•Alwaysconnectthepositive(red)battery
cablebeforeconnectingthenegative
(black)cable.

batterypost(Figure2).

system,alwaysdisconnectthebatterycables,
black(-)cablerst,topreventpossiblewiring
damagefromshort-outs.
1.Routethewireharnessontherightsideofthe
machineframe(Figure3).

2.Removethenutthatsecuresthepositive-battery
clamptothepositive-batteryterminal.
3.Attachthepositivebatteryterminalfromthewire
harnesstotheboltusedtosecurethebattery
clamp.
4.Securetheclampwiththenutyouremoved
previously.
5.Repeatthepreviousstepsforthenegative
batteryterminalonthewireharness.
