ItisimportantthattheSayPhoneV2isconnectedandprogrammedbyatrainedinstaller.Donotlocate
theSayPhoneV2within1metreofDECTcordlesstelephoneequipmentandalwayspayparticular
attentiononinstallationswithextensiontelephonesorBroadband.


1.UnplugtheuserstelephonefromtheBTwallsocketandplugitintotheSayPhoneV2TELsocket.

2.ConnecttheTelecomLeadbetweentheSayPhoneV2C/OsocketandtheBTwallsocket.

3.ConnectthePowerLeadbetweentheSayPhoneV2SUPPLYsocketandthemainssupply.

4.StandtheSayPhoneV2onatableandensuretheleadsaresafelyroutedbehind.

5.PerformatestcalltotheControlCentretoverifycorrectinstallationandprogramming.







BatteryLife

InnormalusethePendantbatteryshouldlastforabout5years.Thebatteryconditionismonitored
andifitbeginstofaila“lowbattery”callwillautomaticallybesenttotheControlCentre.
PendantsmustbereturnedtoTynetecforbatteryreplacement.









youareoutsideyourhome.TheControlCentreoperatorcanincreasethevolumeifyouhavedifficulty
hearingthem.


IfanemergencycallismadebyaccidentitcanbecancelledbypressingtheGREENbuttononce,the
unitwillannounce“AlarmCancelled”andthefrontlampwillreturntoGREEN.







However,oncetheSayPhoneV2startstodialtheControlCentrethecallcannotbecancelled.

Don’tworryifyoudonotmanagetocancelanaccidentalcall–whentheControlCentreanswers
simplytellthemwhatyouhavedone.Thestaffwillbepleasedthattheyhavetalkedtoyouandthey
willcancelthecallinthenormalway.

Innormalusethebatteriesshouldnotneedreplacingforabout5years.Replacementbatteriesmust
beidenticaltothoseoriginallyfittedandshouldonlybechangedbyacompetentperson.



2.Removethescrewfromthebatterycompartmentcover.

3.Payspecialattentiontothepolaritywhenrefittingnewbatteries.
