theSayPhoneV2within1metreofDECTcordlesstelephoneequipmentandalwayspayparticular
attentiononinstallationswithextensiontelephonesorBroadband.

1.UnplugtheuserstelephonefromtheBTwallsocketandplugitintotheSayPhoneV2TELsocket.
2.ConnecttheTelecomLeadbetweentheSayPhoneV2C/OsocketandtheBTwallsocket.
3.ConnectthePowerLeadbetweentheSayPhoneV2SUPPLYsocketandthemainssupply.
4.StandtheSayPhoneV2onatableandensuretheleadsaresafelyroutedbehind.
5.PerformatestcalltotheControlCentretoverifycorrectinstallationandprogramming.

YourPersonalPendantissuppliedwithakitofpartssoitcanbewornaroundtheneck,clippedontoa
beltorpocket,oronthewristlikeawatch.

ThePendantcanbewipedcleanwithadampcloth,avoidusingstrongdetergentsorpolish.
BatteryLife
InnormalusethePendantbatteryshouldlastforabout5years.Thebatteryconditionismonitored
andifitbeginstofaila“lowbattery”callwillautomaticallybesenttotheControlCentre.
PendantsmustbereturnedtoTynetecforbatteryreplacement.

youareoutsideyourhome.TheControlCentreoperatorcanincreasethevolumeifyouhavedifficulty
hearingthem.

7.WHATHAPPENSIFIMAKEANACCIDENTALCALL?
IfanemergencycallismadebyaccidentitcanbecancelledbypressingtheGREENbuttononce,the
unitwillannounce“AlarmCancelled”andthefrontlampwillreturntoGREEN.
However,oncetheSayPhoneV2startstodialtheControlCentrethecallcannotbecancelled.
Don’tworryifyoudonotmanagetocancelanaccidentalcall–whentheControlCentreanswers
simplytellthemwhatyouhavedone.Thestaffwillbepleasedthattheyhavetalkedtoyouandthey
willcancelthecallinthenormalway.
