WARNING!
Due to the compressibility of gases, the accident
prevention regulations "Working on gas installa-
tions" and the rules and regulations "Technical
rules for gas installations DVGW-TRGI" must be
o
bserved for all pressure tests with air or inert gas
for safety reasons.
ATTENTION!
Vor jedem Gebrauch muss zunächst visuell der
ordnungsgemäße Funktionszustand des Gerätes
geprüft werden. Soll eine Gebrauchsfähigkeitsprü-
fung an einer Gasleitung erfolgen, muss vorher
ein Dichtheitstest gemäß Kapitel Fehler! Ver-
weisquelle konnte nicht gefunden werden.
durchgeführt werden.

Switching off the device: Press and hold the
operating button for 3 sec.
After switching on, the overall display lights up
briefly and then the start screen lights up for ap-
prox. 7 seconds
.
During this time, the device performs a pressure
zeroing
.
ATTENTION!
During zeroing, no hose may be connected or no
differential pressure applied, as the device stabi-
lizes and determines its zero point.
The measuring display appears afterwards
.

Fig. 6: Higher value measured via posi-
tive pressure port
The differential pressure is always shown in the
display without a sign.
Instead, there is a p
lus sign (+) under the pressure
port through which the higher value is measured and
a minus sign (
-) under the pressure port with the
lower value.
NOTE!
It is recommended to connect the gauge or vacu-
um to be measured to the right port and leave the
left port open as a reference port.

tive pressure port

•
Immediately after switching on, as soon as the
battery symbol has appeared in the display
and before the measured value display ap-
pears, double-click with the operating button.
You enter the settings mode.
5.1 Pressure unit selection
The display shows ”Press unit“.
•
To select the pressure unit, press the operat-
ing key briefly.
The pressure units mbar, bar, inWC, psi, mmH2O,
mH2O, in Hg, Pa, hPa, kPa und MPa appear one
after the other.
•
Apply the desired unit with a double click.
5.2 Print resolution selec-
tion
The display shows ”reso“ (resolution).
You can now set the displayed resolution for print-
ing. The resolution refers to the previously select-
ed print unit. There are 3 different resolutions to
choose from.
•
Press the operating key briefly to select the
desired resolution.
•
Confirm your selection with a double click.
5.3 Selection of the tem-
