Front Panel LEDs
The Total Access 1500 Dual 4-Wi e TO has two f ont
panel LEDs that p ovide status info mation fo each
inte face. See Table 4 fo LED indications.
4. TEST FEATURES
Initiated Tests
The Dual 4-Wi e TO suppo ts a Digital Netwo k
Loopback and 1004 Hz Tone Tests fo each po t to
suppo t ci cuit tu nup and maintenance effo ts. These
tests a e initiated f om the Total Access Site Manage
o the Total Access 1500 Local C aft Po t on the SCU,
and a e initiated on an individual po t basis.
Digital Network Loopback Test
The Digital Netwo k Loopback p ovides a loopback
path fo the DS0 data f om the netwo k. Received
data of the selected po t is latched in on the app op iate
eceive time slot on the eceive bus, and then placed on
the t ansmit bus in the app op iate po t’s t ansmit time
slot.
1004 Hz Tone Test
The 1004 Hz Tone Test gene ates a 1004 Hz @
0 dBm Digital Refe ence Signal (DRS) tone, which is
used to send DRS signal to the loop, to the netwo k, o
to both simultaneously.
5. MAINTENANCE
The Total Access 1500 Dual 4-Wi e TO equi es no
outine maintenance fo no mal ope ation.
ADTRAN does not ecommend that epai s be
pe fo med in the field. Repai se vices may be obtained
by etu ning the defective unit to ADTRAN. Refe to
Warranty and Customer Service section fo fu the
info mation.

7. WARRANTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

(10) yea s f om the date of shipment if it does not meet
