Mit dem Kauf dieses PWM-Timers haben Sie sich für ein Qualitätsprodukt entschieden. s ist von
Fachleuten speziell für den aquaristischen Gebrauch entwickelt und erprobt worden.

2. Auspacken
Prüfen Sie die Lichtsteuerung nach dem Auspacken auf etwaige Beschädigungen. Bei
Beanstandungen wenden Sie sich bitte unverzüglich an Ihren Fachhändler.

3. Installation
Wichtig: Vor dem Einstecken oder Entfernen der Steuerkabel (Abb. 3, Nr. 8) immer erst
die Stromversorgung (Abb. 3, Nr. 7) trennen.
3.1. Programmeinstellung
Lichtsteuerung:
-USB-Anschluss für PC (Abb. 3, Nr. 6)
-Software „Dim dit“ wird mitgeliefert, keine Installation auf dem PC notwendig.
-Zehn vorprogrammierte Steuerprogramme, einzeln änderbar über mitgelieferte Software
„Dim dit“. Softwareupdate online möglich.
-Vier separat programmierbare und dimmbare Kanäle für weiße L D’s, blaue L D’s, Mondlicht
und Wolkenflug (nur Weißkanal nutzbar am L Dspot).
-xternes Netzteil 24 V
Das Gerät ist vorprogrammiert. Änderungen können direkt an der Uhr oder per USB Kabel am PC
vorgenommen werden. Der beiliegende USB-Stick enthält das Programm Dim dit für die
Installation auf dem Computer. Ferner steht das Programm unter folgendem Link zum Download

Diese Programme sind nicht zum Dimmen der L Dspots geeignet. Dazu wird das auf dem sunrise
control abgespeicherte, invertierte Programm verwendet. Dort, wo 100% Licht gewünscht sind,
muss im Programm 0%, dort, wo das Licht vollständig herunter gedimmt sein soll, muss 100%
eingestellt werden.

Für die Ansteuerung ist ein spezielles Steuerkabel erforderlich. Mit Hilfe der im Lieferumfang des
Spots enthaltenen Muffe und einer Knickschutztülle wird es wasserdicht mit dem Steuerkabel des
Spots verbunden (siehe Abb. 2). Dabei kommt die gelbe Minus-Leitung des Steuerkabels an die
weiße Leitung des L Dspot Steuerkabels.

Der L Dspot lässt sich aufgrund des darin verbauten Vorschaltgerätes nicht vollständig herunter
dimmen. Deswegen schaltet man mit Hilfe einer zusätzlichen Zeitschaltuhr nach Ablauf des
Programms das sunrise control komplett aus und morgens vor dem Programmstart wieder ein. Das
sunrise control ist mit einer eigenen Stromversorgung ausgestattet.

Mit Hilfe der Lichttaste (5) kann die Uhrbeleuchtung eingeschaltet werden. Über die Menütaste
erreicht man die einzelnen Parameter wie Uhrzeit, Programme, Prozenteinstellung, die man mit
Hilfe der + und – Tasten ändern kann.
Die Verwendung mehrerer Kanäle oder nicht invertierter Programme ist am LEDspot
nicht möglich. Der sunrise control kann aber mit anderen, als Zubehör erhältlichen
Steuerkabeln auch an anderen Leuchten verwendet werden (z. B. aquareefLed,
Oceanlight LED).
Programm P9 ist voreingestellt. Dieses kann nur am Computer geändert werden. Das Programm
erreicht man über die Menütaste und anschließendes Drücken der +/- Tasten. Auf gleiche Weise
lassen sich Uhrzeit (1), Beleuchtungsstärke in Prozent (3) und die jeweilige Mondphase (2)
verstellen. Die Veränderung der Prozenteinstellung (3) ist während der Beleuchtungsphase
wirkungslos, da das Programm bei voller Lichtstärke auf 0% steht (invertiert). Auch die im
Programm vorgegebenen Daten der Mondlichtsteuerung können über die Uhr nicht verändert
werden.
Das Öffnen der Programme in DimEdit erfolgt entweder mit einem Doppelklick der linken
Maustaste oder durch einmaliges Klicken und einen zweiten Klick auf den Button
„Öffnen“.
Kopieren Sie Dim dit zusammen mit den zugehörigen Programmen für die Lichtsteuerung vom
mitgelieferten USB-Stick in einen Ordner auf der Festplatte Ihres Rechners. Das Programm kann
ohne weitere Installation gestartet werden. Über den Button „Laden“ öffnet man die im
Lieferumfang vorhandenen Lichtprogramme (Abb. 6). Durch Anklicken und Halten der linken
Maustaste lassen sich Kurven erstellen. Uhrzeiten und Prozentangaben werden in der unteren,
hellblauen Leiste angezeigt. Im Falle der L Dspots ist nur der Weißkanal aktiv.
Die Programme können verändert werden, indem man sie mit Dim dit lädt, variiert und
anschließend unter demselben oder einem neuen Namen abspeichert.

Schließt man den Timer sunrise control über das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel an den Rechner an,
erscheint dieser als eigenständiges Laufwerk.
5. Garantie
AB Aqua Medic GmbH gewährt eine 24-monatige Garantie ab Kaufdatum auf alle Material- und
Verarbeitungsfehler des Gerätes. Als Garantienachweis gilt der Original-Kaufbeleg. Während dieser
Zeit werden wir das Produkt kostenlos durch inbau neuer oder erneuerter Teile instand setzen
(ausgenommen Frachtkosten). Im Fall, dass während oder nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit Probleme
mit Ihrem Gerät auftreten, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler.
Diese Garantie gilt nur für den rstkäufer. Sie deckt nur Material- und Verarbeitungsfehler, die bei
bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch auftreten. Sie gilt nicht bei Schäden durch Transporte oder
unsachgemäße Behandlung, Fahrlässigkeit, falschen inbau sowie ingriffen und Veränderungen,
die von nicht autorisierten Stellen vorgenommen wurden.
AB Aqua Medic GmbH haftet nicht für Folgeschäden, die durch den Gebrauch des Gerätes
entstehen.

2. Unpacking
On unpacking, please check the lighting system immediately for any damages. In case of any
complaints, please contact your dealer directly.

3. Installation
Important: Before inserting or removing the control cables (Fig. 3, No. 8) always
disconnect the power supply (Fig. 3, No. 7) first.
3.1. Program setting
Light control:
-USB-connection for PC (Fig. 3, No. 6)
-Software „Dim dit“ is included, no installation on the PC is required.
-Ten control programs are pre-programmed that can be changed with the included software
„Dim dit“ individually. A software update is possible online.
-Four separately programmable and dimmable channels for white L D’s, blue L D’s, moonlight
und cloud flying (only the white channel can be used with L Dspot).
-external power pack 24 V
The lamp is pre-programmed. Changes can be made directly at the clock or by the USB-cable at
the PC. The included USB-stick contains the program for the installation on the computer.

These programs are not suitable for dimming the L Dspots. For dimming, the inverted and stored
program on the sunrise control has to be used. Where 100% light is desired, the program has to be
set to 0%, where the light should be dimmed completely down, 100% has to be set.

A special control cable is required for controlling the unit. By using the coupling and protective
rubber sleeve that came with the spot, the control cable is connected waterproof to the control
cable of the spot (see Fig. 2). The yellow minus-line of the control cable has to be connected to the
white line of the L Dspot control cable.

The L Dspot can not be dimmed completely down due to the built-in ballast. Therefore, the sunrise
control has to be switched of completely after the program has ended by an additional timer. In the
morning, it has to be started again before the program starts. The sunrise control is equipped with
its own power supply.

The clock lighting can be switched on by the light key (5). By the menu key, the individual
parameters such as time, programs, percentage are reached that can be changed by the + and –
keys.
The use of multiple channels or non-inverted programs is not possible with LEDspot. But
the sunrise control can be used for other lamps (e. g. aquareefLed, Ocean Light LED)
with other control cables also available as accessories.
Program P9 is pre-adjusted and can only be changed at the computer. By the menu key, the
program is reached by pressing the + and – keys. In the same way, time (1), light intensity in
per cent (3) and the respective moon phase (2) can be adjusted. A change in the percentage
adjustment (3) has no effect during the light phase because the program is set to 0% at full light
intensity (inverted).
Also, the data of the moon light control given in the program cannot be changed by the clock.
The programs in DimEdit can be opened either by one double click of the left mouse
button or by one click and a second click on the button „opening“.
Copy Dim dit as well as the associated programs for the light control of the USB stick provided into
a file on the hard disk of your computer. The program can be started without further installation.
By the button „loading“ the light programs included in delivery can be opened. By clicking and
holding the left mouse button, curves can be created. Times and percentages are indicated in the
lower, light blue bar. In the case of L Dspots, only the white channel is active.
The programs can be changed by loading them with Dim dit, modify and then store them under
the same or a new name.

If the timer sunrise control is connected to the computer via the USB cable provided, this will
appear as separate drive.
5. Warranty
Should any defect in material or workmanship be found within 24 months of the date of purchase
AB Aqua Medic GmbH undertakes to repair or, at our option, replace the defective part free of
charge – always provided the product has been installed correctly, is used for the purpose that was
intended by us, is used in accordance with the operating instructions and is returned to us carriage
paid. The warranty term is not applicable on the all consumable products.
Proof of Purchase is required by presentation of an original invoice or receipt indicating the dealer’s
name, the model number and date of purchase, or a Guarantee Card if appropriate. This warranty
may not apply if any model or production number has been altered, deleted or removed,
unauthorised persons or organisations have executed repairs, modifications or alterations, or
damage is caused by accident, misuse or neglect.
We regret we are unable to accept any liability for any consequential loss. Please note that the
product is not defective under the terms of this warranty where the product, or any of its
component parts, was not originally designed and / or manufactured for the market in which it is
used. These statements do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
