
• shoulder belt (e) fits the baby’s body closely without constricting the baby and
the belt is not twisted.
Correct installation of the car seat
Route diagonal belt (n) through the rear belt guide (o). Tighten diagonal belt (n).
Tighten lap belt (l) by pulling on diagonal belt (n) in the direction of the front of
the vehicle. Pull diagonal belt (n) behind the head end of the infant car seat.
Note! Do not twist the vehicle seatbelt while doing this.
Removal from the vehicle
Take the diagonal belt out of rear, belt guide (o). Undo the car seatbelt buckle
and take lap belt (l) out of belt guide (m).
WARNING! It may be that buckle part (k) of the car seatbelt is too long so that is
reaches the belt guides of the infant car seat. This means that the infant car seat
cannot be fastened tightly. If this is the case, choose another seat in the car for
the infant car seat.
The support pad in the seat is used only when the baby below 6 months old.
Correct securing of your baby
To ensure your baby’s safety, check that:
• the position of the headrest is correctly adjusted.
• buckle tongues (i) are locked in place in belt buckle (e).
Note! Diagonal belt (n) must be routed through rear, belt guide(o). Now swing
the carrying handle (a) with both buttons (b) pressed, into the vehicle position A .
• car seatbelt buckle (k) is not touching belt guide (m).
• the car seatbelt is taut and not twisted.
• Swing the carrying handle into the vehicle position A.
• the car seat is fastened with a three-point automatic infant car seat belt.
• the car seat is only used on the front passenger seat if there is no front airbag
that can impact on the infant car seat.
• the car seat is secured with the child facing the rear of the car (the child’s feet
point towards the backrest of the infant car seat).
• lap belt (l) runs through the two belt guides (m) on both sides of the car seat.
• diagonal belt (n) runs through belt guide (o) on the backrest of the car seat.
Safety when installing in vehicle
Place the lap belt (l) into belt guides (m) on both sides of the infant car seat.
The infant car seat must always be secured with the vehicle seatbelt, even when
not being used. In the event of an emergency stop or a minor collision, an
unsecured infant car seat can injure other passengers and yourself.
Pull out the vehicle seatbelt and route it over the infant car seat.
Place the infant car seat facing the rear of the vehicle on the vehicle seat (the
child’s feet point towards to the backrest of the vehicle seat).
The vehicle belt buckle (k) must under no circumstances reach into the lower lap
belt guide (m). If the belt stalk is too long, the infant car seat is not suitable for
use in this position in the vehicle. In case of doubt, please contact the
manufacturer of your vehicle.
Installation in car
This infant car seat can be used on all seats with three-point automatic belts.
We recommend as a rule that the seat is used in the rear of the vehicle. In most
cases, your child is exposed to higher risk in the front.
Lock the buckle tongue in place in vehicle seatbelt (k).
