brauchsanweisung des HF-Chirurgiegeräts und fragen Sie in
Zweifelsfällen Erbe oder Ihren Vertreiber!
1 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Elektroden sind zum monopolaren Schneiden mit dem Erbe-
Handgriff Art.-Nr. 20190-041 bestimmt.
Die Schlingen sind für die Erbe-Konisationselektrode Art.-
Nr. 20191-075 bestimmt.
Erbe empfiehlt den Gebrauch von Erbe-Elektrodengriffen. Soll
diese HF-Elektrode mit einem Handgriff eines anderen Herstel-
lers betrieben werden, so beachten Sie bitte Folgendes: Die Fü-
gestelle von HF-Elektroden zu Handgriffen unterschiedlicher
Hersteller ist nicht normiert. Der Handgriff eines anderen Her-
stellers hat, obwohl er und die Erbe-HF-Elektrode scheinbar zu-
sammenpassen, möglicherweise abweichende Abmessungen
und Toleranzen, eine andere Isolation etc. Dies birgt Gefahren
für Patient und Personal. Erbe stellt Ihnen bei Bedarf gerne wei-
tere Informationen zur Verfügung.

Die maximale elektrische Belastbarkeit dieser Produkte beträgt:

Dieses Produkt darf nur von ausgebildetem medizinischen Per-
sonal, das anhand des Verwendungshinweises in dessen Ge-
brauch eingewiesen wurde, verwendet werden.
Überprüfen Sie vor jeder Anwendung das Produkt einschließlich
sämtlicher Isolierungen auf mechanische Schäden!
Falls schadhaft, dieses Produkt nicht verwenden!
Nicht in Gegenwart von brennbaren oder explosiblen Stoffen

4 Anwendungshinweise
4.1 Nur gereinigte, desinfizierte und sterilisierte
Produkte verwenden
Produkt vor der ersten Anwendung und vor jeder Wiederanwen-
dung reinigen, desinfizieren und sterilisieren.

4.2 Produkt kontrollieren
Überprüfen Sie vor jeder Anwendung das Produkt einschließlich
sämtlicher Isolierungen auf mechanische Schäden!
Falls schadhaft, dieses Produkt nicht verwenden!
4.3 Produkt montieren und demontieren
HF-Elektrode in den Erbe-Handgriff Art.-Nr. 20190-041 einset-
zen. Lesen Sie dazu die Anleitung des Handgriffs.
4.4 Einsetzen/Wechsel der Schlinge bei
Konisationselektrode Art.-Nr. 20191-075
HF-Elektrode aus dem Handgriff nehmen. Den nicht isolierten
Teil der HF-Elektrode (1) einige Umdrehungen lösen. Schlinge
aus der Verankerung (2) nehmen. Neue Schlinge in die
Verankerung (2) setzen. Den nicht isolierten Teil der HF-
Elektrode (1) wieder festdrehen.
Schlinge nicht knicken.

5 Reinigung, Desinfektion, Sterilisation
5.1 Sicherheitshinweise
Nicht geeignet für die manuelle Reinigung und Desinfektion.
Geeignet für die Vorreinigung im Ultraschallbad.
Zur Reinigung keinesfalls scharfe Gegenstände verwenden.
Desinfektionsmittel müssen nach Gebrauch gut abgespült wer-
den.
Maximaler Luftdruck beim Trocknen: 2 bar.
Maximaler Wasserdruck beim Spülen: 2 bar.
Bei der maschinellen Reinigung/Desinfektion 95 °C nicht über-
schreiten.
Angaben des Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsmittelherstellers
unbedingt einhalten.
Bei der Sterilisation 134 °C nicht überschreiten.
Nicht in Heißluft sterilisieren.
5.2 Begrenzung der Wiederaufbereitung
Häufiges Wiederaufbereiten hat Auswirkungen auf dieses Pro-
dukt. Beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise zur Kontrolle des
Produkts. Bei offensichtlichen Beschädigungen oder Funktions-
beeinträchtigungen darf das Produkt nicht mehr verwendet wer-
den.

5.3 Empfohlene Ausstattung/Mittel
Die Lebensdauer des Produkts, Reinigungswirkung und Sterilität
sind bei Verwendung der nachfolgenden Reinigungs- und Auf-
bereitungsprozeduren validiert, wenn die empfohlenen oder
gleichwertigen Mittel gemäß Herstellerempfehlung verwendet
werden.
•Maschinelle Reinigung/Desinfektion in einem Desinfektor
G 7836 CD (Miele & Cie. KG, Gütersloh/Deutschland) mit
dem Reinigungsmittel neodisher ® mediclean forte
(Dr. Weigert GmbH & Co. KG, Hamburg/Deutschland) gemäß
empfohlenem Waschprogramm.
5.4 Empfohlene Verfahren
Erbe empfiehlt die nachfolgend beschriebenen Aufbereitungs-
verfahren. Gleichwertige abweichende Verfahren sind möglich,
sofern nicht explizit ausgeschlossen. Dem Anwender obliegt die
Verantwortung, die Eignung der tatsächlich angewendeten Ver-
fahren durch geeignete Maßnahmen (z.B. Validierung, Routine-
überwachung, Prüfung der Materialverträglichkeit) sicherzustel-
len.
5.5 Zerlegen
1. Entfernen Sie die HF-Elektrode aus dem Handgriff.
2. Nur bei Konisationselektrode Art.-Nr. 20191-075: Entfernen
Sie die Schlinge aus der Konisationselektrode.

5.6 Benötigte Hilfsmittel
5.7 Vorreinigung
Verwenden Sie zur Vorreinigung Wasser, ggf. ein nicht fixieren-
des Desinfektionsmittel.
1. Entfernen Sie Oberflächenverschmutzungen mit einer wei-
chen Bürste/einem weichen Tuch. Legen Sie hierzu das Pro-
dukt in ein Wasserbad und/oder spülen Sie das Produkt un-
ter fließendem Wasser.
5.8 Maschinelle Reinigung und Desinfektion
Das Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsgerät muss eine grundsätz-
lich geprüfte Wirksamkeit besitzen (z.B. CE-Kennzeichnung ent-
sprechend DIN EN ISO 15883).
Das Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsmittel muss für Medizinpro-
dukte aus Kunststoff und Metall geeignet sein und einen pH-
Wert zwischen 5,5 und 11 aufweisen. Nicht zulässige Inhalts-
stoffe: organische Lösungsmittel, Oxidationsmittel, Halogene,
aromatische/halogenierte Kohlenwasserstoffe.
Angaben des Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsmittelherstellers
unbedingt einhalten.
1. Legen Sie das Produkt vorsichtig in einen geeigneten Spül-
korb. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Produkt keine anderen In-
strumente/Instrumententeile berührt.

2. Starten Sie ein geprüftes Programm mit folgenden Eigen-
schaften:
– Thermische Desinfektion: 5 bis 10 Minuten bei 90 bis
93 °C (mit einer Toleranz gemäß DIN EN ISO 17665), A0
≥3000.
– Schlussspülung mit destilliertem oder vollentsalztem
Wasser.
– Ausreichende Produkttrocknung.
3. Wenn das Produkt nach Programmende noch sichtbare Ver-
unreinigungen aufweist, wiederholen Sie die Vorreinigung
und die maschinelle Reinigung/Desinfektion.
5.9 Kontrolle
1. Kontrollieren Sie das Produkt auf sichtbare Beschädigungen
und Verschleiß:
– Beschädigungen am Produkt, z.B. Risse, raue Oberfläche,
Absplitterungen, Verfärbungen.
– Beschädigungen an der Isolation des Produkts und/oder
des Kabels/Steckers, z.B. Risse und Brüche.
– Beschädigungen an der Beschichtung.
– Verbiegungen am Produkt oder von Teilen des Produkts.
Verbogene Teile nicht zurückbiegen.
Falls schadhaft, dieses Produkt nicht verwenden!
5.10 Verpacken
1. Verpacken Sie das Produkt in eine Einmalsterilisationsverpa-
ckung (Einfach- oder Doppelverpackung) aus Papier/Folie
und/oder in einen Sterilisationscontainer.

5.11 Sterilisieren
Nur gereinigte und desinfizierte Produkte sterilisieren.
Erbe Elektromedizin empfiehlt die Dampfsterilisation mit nach-
folgend beschriebenem Verfahren. Der Einsatz anderer Sterilisa-
tionsverfahren geschieht außerhalb der Verantwortung von Erbe
Elektromedizin.
Dampfsterilisation
•Fraktioniertes Vakuumverfahren mit ausreichender Produkt-
trocknung
•Haltezeit 3 bis 18 Minuten bei 132 bis 134 °C
•Sterilisator gemäß geltenden nationalen Normen und Vor-
schriften(z.B.DINEN13060oderDINEN285)
•Sterilisationsprozess validiert nach DIN EN ISO 17665
Bitte beachten Sie die Empfehlungen des Sterilisatorherstellers
zu Beladung, Handhabung und Trockenzeiten.

IMPORTANT!
Please read all information carefully.
These instructions for use do not replace the user manual of the
electrosurgical unit used! Read the user manual of the electro-
surgical unit and ask Erbe or your distributor in case of doubt!
1 Normal Use
The electrodes are intended for monopolar cutting with the Erbe
handle Art. No. 20190-041.
The loops are intended for the Erbe conization electrode Art.
No. 20191-075.
Erbe recommends the use of Erbe electrode handles. If a handle
from another manufacture is used to operate the HF electrode,
please observe the following: The joint from HF electrodes to
handles of other manufacturers is not standardized. The handle
of another manufacture, although it may appear to fit the Erbe
HF electrode, may have different dimensions and tolerances, a
different type of insulation, etc. Such differences hold risks for
patient and staff. Erbe Elektromedizin is glad to provide more in-
formation as required.

3 Safety instructions
This product may be used only by trained medical staff, who
have been shown how to use it according to the instructions for
use.
Before each use, check the product including all the insulation
for signs of physical damage!
If damaged, do not use this product!
Do not use in the presence of combustible or explosive materi-
als!
Never lay this product on the patient or in his/her direct vicinity.
Protect this product from any form of mechanical damage! Do
not throw! Do not use force!
If components or parts of the product are bent, do not attempt
to straighten them!
Erbe Elektromedizin expressly warns against modifying the
product. Any modification exempts Erbe Elektromedizin from
any and all liability.
4 How to use
4.1 Only use cleaned, disinfected and sterilized
products
Clean, disinfect and sterilize the product before using it for the
first time and before every subsequent use.

4.2 Check the product
Before each use, check the product including all the insulation
for signs of physical damage!
If damaged, do not use this product!
4.3 Assembly and disassembly of the product
Insert the HF electrode into the Erbe handle Art. No. 20190-041.
Read the instructions for the handle.
4.4 Inserting / changing the loop for conization
electrode Art. No. 20191-075
Take the HF electrode out of the handle. Loosen the uninsulated
section of the HF electrode (1) a few revolutions. Take the loop
out of the fastening anchor (2). Insert the new loop into the fas-
tening anchor (2). Retighten the uninsulated section of the HF
electrode (1) a few revolutions.
Do not kink the loop.

5 Cleaning, disinfection, sterilization
5.1 Safety instructions
Not suitable for manual cleaning and disinfection.
Suitable for precleaning using an ultrasonic bath.
Never use sharp objects for cleaning.
Disinfectants must be rinsed off thoroughly after use.
Maximum air pressure during drying: 2 bar.
Maximum water pressure during rinsing: 2 bar.
During machine cleaning and disinfection, do not exceed 95 °C.
It is essential to follow the cleaning agent and disinfectant man-
ufacturers’ instructions.
During sterilization, do not exceed 134 °C.
Do not sterilize in hot air.
5.2 Reprocessing limitation
Frequent reprocessing can damage this product. Observe the
safety instructions for checking the product. With visible damage
or functional impairment, the product may no longer be used.
5.3 Recommended equipment / substances
The service life of the product, cleaning action and sterility are
validated for the following cleaning and preparation procedures
if the recommended or equivalent substances are used in accor-
dance with the manufacturer's instructions.
•Machine cleaning and disinfection in a G 7836 CD disinfector
(Miele & Cie. KG, Gütersloh, Germany) with the cleaning
agent neodisher ® mediclean forte (Dr. Weigert GmbH & Co.
KG, Hamburg, Germany) with the recommended washing
program.

5.4 Recommended methods
Erbe recommends the preparation procedures described below.
Equivalent different procedures are possible if not explicitly ex-
cluded. It is incumbent on the user to ensure the suitability of the
actual procedures used by means of suitable measures (e.g. val-
idation, routine monitoring, check of material compatibility).
5.5 Dismantling
1. Remove the HF electrode from the handle.
2. For conization electrode Art. No. 20191-075 only: Remove
the loop out of the conization electrode.
5.6 Required Aids
5.7 Precleaning
Use water for precleaning, a non-fixing disinfectant if necessary.
1. Remove surface contaminants with a soft brush/cloth while
holding the product in a water bath and/or rinsing the prod-
uct under running water.

5.8 Cleaning and disinfection by machine
The washer/disinfector must have fundamentally certified ef-
fectiveness (e.g. CE marking according to DIN EN ISO 15883).
The detergent and disinfectant must be suitable for medical de-
vices made of plastic and metal and have a pH value between 5.5
and 11. Prohibited ingredients: organic solvents, oxidizing
agents, halogens, aromatic/halogenated hydrocarbons.
It is essential to follow the cleaning agent and disinfectant man-
ufacturers’ instructions.
1. Place the product in a suitable rinsing basket carefully. In do-
ing so make sure the product is not touching other instru-
ments or parts of instruments.
2. Start a tested program with the following properties:
– Thermal disinfection: 5 to 10 minutes at 90 to 93 °C
(with a tolerance in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17665),
A0≥3000.
– Final rinse with distilled or deionized water.
– Sufficient product drying.
3. If contaminants are still visible on the product after the end
of the routine, repeat precleaning and machine cleaning and
disinfection.
5.9 Check
1. Check the product for visible damage and wear:
– Damage to the product, e.g. cracks, rough surface, splin-
tering, discoloration.
– Damage to the product insulation and/or cable/connec-
tor insulation, e.g. cracks and breaks.
– Damage to the coating.
– Bending of the product or parts of the product. Do not at-
tempt to straighten bent instruments!
If damaged, do not use this product!
